Every time I get in the car at some point in my drive, all of my safety features kickoff. Basically my ADAS. I can’t even use cruise control. There’s a huge safety issue because I was on a snowy road and my traction control was not on cause my Civic to lose control. Good thing I recovered it and no accident. I can drive 5 miles down the road or 200 miles, but at some point it will kick on. I have looked this up, and thousands of Honda owners are having this issue. I took my car to the dealership and they did a diagnostic on it and cannot tell me what the issue was. The dealer was Prescott Honda in Arizona. THOUSANDS owners are having this issue.

I purchased my 2024 Honda Civic Sedan Touring just over six months ago and have been dealing with an ongoing issue with the front driver-side window that remains unresolved despite multiple repair attempts. The first problem occurred when the car had only around 2,500 miles on it. The window began getting stuck while opening or closing, making it difficult or impossible to operate properly. I brought the car to the dealership, where they diagnosed the issue as a faulty window regulator. They replaced the part, assuring me that the problem was resolved. However, less than a week later, the same issue occurred again. This time, the front passenger-side window also malfunctioned on one occasion, displaying similar symptoms. I returned to the dealership, and the service team initially suggested swapping parts from a new Civic on the lot to troubleshoot the issue. Ultimately, they decided to replace the left front driver window switch instead, claiming the problem was caused by erroneous operation/"overuse." This explanation seemed implausible, as the vehicle was only a few months old, had been driven minimally, and the windows were operated under normal conditions. Unfortunately, just days after this second repair, the driver-side window failed again, marking the third time this issue has occurred. The car now has approximately 2,950 miles on it, and I have not yet returned to the dealership, as I am frustrated by the repeated failures and the lack of a permanent solution. During

The steering failed and caused an issue on my ball join, vc axle, nuckle, strut. I have a complaint before about the ball joint, looking at all of the cases, and the symptoms. I recall having issues like steering pooping, over steering, and having noices, . The car moved by itself with the steering and caused a lot of suspension problems driving into a pothole. The repair is over 5k. I have a case with Honda that says it is going to take time to inspect my vehicle in another department, and they want me to make an insurance claim affecting me. Honda doesn't want to inspect or have accountability for the issues that the factory or parts have. As a consumer, it is really frustrating that we deal with problems of the factory, but Honda doesn't have a solution or wants to help the affected customers. Previous NHTSA ID number: 11623030

Brand new vehicle and already having issues with steering. The steering wheel takes a lot of strength to steer, at first I thought it was an issue of me getting used to the car but a few days into having the car the recall notification came. I also compare it to multiple civic car my co workers own, it was not the same steering. The vehicle I test drove (hybrid civic - sport touring) was not the one I purchase which was definitely my mistake for not comparing them both. Dealership has been unresponsive, at first I tried calling and would hang up on me telling me the VIN was not valid. I attempted to reach the service desk with no luck. I finally went in person (I can provide names if needed of associate in service) and the advisor who helped me told me Honda was not fixing recalls after cars were purchased, only if they are unsold on the lot. He kept telling me to not worry about it and to trust him (total stranger who did not bother to look up the recall or inspect the vehicle). I repeated my self to make sure I understood him correctly and I asked again as plainly as possible: does Honda not intent on fixing safety recalls? and he told me no, not once the vehicle has been sold. I have been doubting myself for purchasing this car instead of the Subaru Impreza and now I hate myself the more for it, after this. The vehicle is exhausting to drive, I have a long commute to work 52 miles one way. I needed a vehicle to be safe and comfortable in. This was not it.

The steering gearbox worm wheel in my 2024 Honda Civic (VIN: [XXX] ) has malfunctioned, creating increased friction and resistance, which poses a serious safety risk by compromising my ability to steer safely. This issue, confirmed by Honda’s recall notice (NHTSA Recall Number 24V-744), could lead to loss of control, increasing the risk of an accident. Despite contacting Honda and my dealership multiple times over the past month, no repair or inspection has been performed, and I’ve been unable to get a timeline for resolution. The steering also began making an unusual noise recently, heightening my concern. Given the unresolved safety defect and the car's diminished value, I believe this vehicle qualifies as a “lemon,” and I am seeking either a replacement or relief from the loan due to the financial and safety implications. The ball joint metal part broke. The ball joint is not connected to the lower control arm instead the ball joint is a part that has a metal piece included that connects to the lower control arm. The piece is thin and break in my car over a small pothole doing speed limit this would not happen in any other make. The part looks cheap on the metal piece. The safety of the vehicle was bad until I got a safe place to park the car there was a lot of damage the wheel departed of the cv axle making it dangerous. No symptoms just a piece that is thin and dangerous to any inconvenience that drivers may occur. It would be good there is an action and further investigation of the ball joint part and hopefully there is going to be a recall regarding the incident for a lower control arm that connects directly to the ball joint or a more thick and durable piece

My Honda Civic's software for Apple CarPlay does not have an available update by Honda Corporation to allow functionality to use CarPlay Focus Driving settings to prevent receiving audio phone calls and ringing via the infotainment system speakers while driving and using apps such as Waze for navigation and/or iHeart radio for music. My safety while driving and the safety of others while I am driving is put at risk because while I am driving and using an app for music and/or navigation, my Honda Civic's infotainment system speakers may ring when my Apple iPhone receives a phone call from anyone, and this distracts my driving and may be unsafe. My Apple iPhone 14 has CarPlay Focus Driving software to allow me to prevent incoming phone calls while driving and connected to car Bluetooth or CarPlay. However, I cannot use this Focus Driving feature with my Honda Civic because Honda Corporation has not updated my Civic's infotainment system software to interface with my Apple iPhone 14 Focus Driving feature. Please help. I have purchased my 2024 Honda Civic last year in 2023. I’ve had my Honda Civic for a year now. I recently noticed my steering wheel “sticky” as some other 2022-2024 Honda Civic owners have reported and stated on all media’s after researching. This mainly occurs to me after the car has warmed up and or its at its normal temperatures and driving. The steering wheel can feel some “fight” even at 2 degree adjustment while driving. I feel unsafe to drive my car. I have read and discovered some have recalls for this matter of steering rack problems. Honda contacted me weeks after purchasing my Honda Civic and scheduled me to bring in my Honda to have it checked for the recall and apparently my Honda does not have a recall. I have called Honda today, 8/26/2024, and I explained what I am experiencing with my steering and they said due to my car being over 36k miles it’s no longer under warranty even though this problem seems to be more of a recall type and should not require to be under warranty. Perhaps this recall has not been called for yet or discovered and I am reaching out to get help. As I am concerned and I am worried about my safety the safety for others as I am driver and transport passengers on daily basis as part of my job. Please once again help with my case and please investigate. As part of researching I did discover a rough cost of the steering rack and it is expensive and it was just for the part not including labor. This is unsafe and unfair. I hope wh

My car decelerated violently, dropped about 20 mph in speed, then immediately accelerated back to the speed set on my cruise control. I did have the Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist engaged when this happened. Interestingly, there was not another car around me nor coming my way in the opposite lanes and the weather was 72 degrees and overcast. This event scared the hell out of me and I was lucky that no other vehicle was close behind in my lane at the time!
