Defect. CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES WERE SUPPLIED WITH AN OWNER'S MANUAL CONTAINING AN IMPROPER PROCEDURE FOR REPLACING THE FRONT WHEEL.
Risk. FOLLOWING THE IMPROPER PROCEDURE COULD LEAD TO A TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF BRAKING EFFICIENCY.
Remedy. AN ADHESIVE-BACKED PAGE FOR THE OWNER'S MANUAL WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO OWNERS.
CONSUMER WAS DRIVING IN DRY WEATHER CONDITIONS AND THE FRONT BRAKES LOCKED UP, CAUSING THE MOTORCYCLE TO SKID TO A STOP. THE MOTORCYCLE TURNED OVER ON THE LEFT SIDE, RESULTING IN INJURIES TO THE OCCUPANT. *AK
