The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the vehicle shuddered abnormally. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle, and several unknown warning lights illuminated; the vehicle continued to shudder. The contact was able to drive the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to exceed 12 MPH. The contact activated the hazard lights. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with head gasket failure, causing coolant intrusion into the cylinders and damage to the timing chain. The dealer replaced the head gasket and the timing chain. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
The head gasket needs replaced because of a faulty design....this is an expensive fix and one I think Honda knows about, but because the fix if almost all labor, they don't care because it is making them a ton of money on repairs. The engine block cooling is designed to cause a head gasket failure with can ruin the engine and even if you catch it, is very expensive to fix. and Honda doesn't even offer an adequate fix and this WILL happen again. I have talked to Honda techs who have confirmed that belief.
Engine head gasket failed allowing a coolant leakage, which damaged spark plugs and fuel injectors. There is video evidence of this failure provided by the dealership service center. Link to video: [XXX] This occurred at approximately 70k mileage, which is far earlier than a failure like this would be reasonably foreseeable. I see many, many, others online who have had the same failure on my model of car at similar (early) mileages of 70k-90k. My car lost power on the highway, leading to a dangerous driving condition for myself an others. There was no obvious warnings that this would occur. After pulling over and turning off then turning on the car again, the car was intermittently drivable, with clear engine trouble. When it is cold outside my ACC light comes on and when I started my car the other day it read Emissons Service Problem Avoid Heavy Acceleration and High Speed. That was just 1 among 7 other service warning that popped up.
This car is known for its faulty engine. The head gasket tends to blow as early as 40k miles, plenty of people have had this problem and yet there is no recall for the engine or a fix. I was driving on the highway and i was speeding up to merge into traffic and my check engine light started to flash and my car went into limp mode on the highway luckily there wasn't a lot of traffic and i got the chance to pull over and restart my car. i looked online and plenty of people were experiencing this same problem they all had the same answer as well, a blown head gasket. I'm just wondering if someone has to pass away before this gets fixed.
The Cylinder head gasket The vehicle heats up and causes us to pull over which impedes traffic The maker knows of said issue but has yet to address it A qualified mechanic has examined the vehicle and diagnosed the issue There was no warning
My honda has 59000 miles on it not even 60k on it since we bought it. Have done all regular services an have done every recall is had. One more my husband goes to leave for work not even got out of the neighborhood an every warning light turns on car start shaking. I take it to my family mechanic who does all of our work on every one of my vehicles. An he said its the head job witch doesn't make since cause of the year an the miles on the car. An I bought it thought car max an got maxcare so I had to take it to another shop Prestige Auto Worksan they say the samething an tells me to go thought all this cause honda is having problems right now with there vehicles. So now it's been about 2-3 weeks without a car waiting to get fixed.
Date of Incident: [XXX] Vehicle Information: 2018 Honda Accord VIN: [XXX] Incident Location: North Charleston, SC Estimated Vehicle Mileage at Incident: 78,000 miles On [XXX], while starting and driving my vehicle less than one mile, the engine would not accelerate above 10 MPH. Following this, multiple service alerts illuminated on the dashboard. The vehicle was inoperable and had to be towed to Hendrick Honda of Charleston. The diagnosed issue is a leaking cylinder head gasket. This is the second major engine-related issue this year. In May 2025, I paid over $2,000 to repair a faulty fuel sensor injector. This current repair is estimated to cost over $5,000, bringing my total repair costs for this year to over $7,000 for a five-year-old vehicle with just 78,000 miles. This recurring pattern of significant and costly engine failures, particularly the cylinder head gasket leak, indicates a serious safety defect. It is not an isolated incident, as evidenced by publicly filed NHTSA complaints (ID: 11677717) for the same make, model, and year with similar engine failure issues at comparable mileage. The sudden loss of acceleration and inoperability pose a direct safety hazard. I am requesting an investigation into this defect and seeking full reimbursement for the recent and past repairs, totaling over $7,000. These are clearly not standard wear-and-tear issues and should be addressed by the manufacturer. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5
I was contacted by Royal Honda (Honda of Harvey, Louisiana) about an urgent fuel pump recall on my vehicle. Harris first through text then receive the phone callInstead of scheduling the recall repair, the dealership used the recall notice as leverage to push a $19.95 oil change special. The representative told me they could “set me up for the oil if I scheduled the recall,” but their focus was on selling the oil change, not correcting the urgent safety recall. When I declined the oil change, they said they were having “technical difficulties,” promised to call me back, and never did. As a result, my recall remains unresolved. This is a misuse of federally mandated recall notices for sales purposes, and it delays urgent safety repairs. Requested Action: Investigate Honda of Harvey / Royal Honda for using recall notifications as a sales tactic and ensure my recall is completed promptly.
Car engine overheated while driving and car stalled and was unable to start . Took it to a mechaning and was informed that I had a blown head gasket that may be leaking coolant into the engine internally. Not having the money to fix it I had to slowly drive it home and find alternative solutions . Researching the situation and seeing that this seems to be a reoccurring and common from for 2018-2022 Honda owners and if indeed it is a company defect I would ask for a charge free recall to resolve the head gasket. This has created much stress in my life and financial worry.
Coolant leak through the gasket into a cylinder so now I need a new head gasket. When I start my car, it starts to shake and don’t accelerate. I just got my turbo done in April because of the same issues.
On August 25th 2025 we were driving the vehicle on the freeway at 55 MPH and upon acceleration the vehicle started to decelerate and the check engine light came on. The vehicle would not go over 10 MPH at this point. We took it to the dealership to have the issue addressed. They told us that the issue was a misfire in cylinder #3. They told us the vehicle will need to relearn the firing order and for the next 2 weeks the vehicle was rough idling upon startup. We called the dealership to make an appointment to have that issue addressed and took the vehicle back to the dealership. On September 10 we were told by the dealership the head gasket is blown. We were told that they are seeing that this is becoming a more common issue with the engine of this year model vehicle.
I attempted to start my vehicle's engine normally and the engine made a rough cranking sounded and then finally started. The dashboard displayed multiple warning messages immediately after: Emission system problem/avoid heavy acceleration and high speed/see your dealer, tire pressure monitor system problem/check tire pressure/see your dealer, brake system problem/brake performance may be reduced/see your dealer, brake hold system problem/apply brake when stopped/see your dealer, electric power steering system problem/steering assist reduced/see your dealer, vehicle stability assist system problem/reduced traction and handling/see your dealer, hill start assist problem/vehicle may roll upon brake release/see your dealer, adaptive cruise control system problem/see your dealer, collision mitigation braking system problem/see your dealer, road departure mitigation system problem/see your dealer. I was able to carefully drive and drop off the vehicle at the dealership. The dealership conducted an inspection and found "the check engine light was illuminated due to a misfire in cylinder two. The diagnosis has revealed that this is caused by a bad head gasket, which is allowing a small coolant leak into the cylinder. To address this issue, the technician is recommending the replacement of the cylinder head gasket and spark plugs. Additionally, the technician has noted that the fuel injectors are a known failure point and suggest replacing them as well while the work is being performe
Backup camera has purple and green distortion that makes it hard to see what’s behind the vehicle when trying to backup. This is a permanent problem that can be inspected upon request. It involves a risk to myself and others by possibly causing injury or property damage. Asked dealership about it and they said it’s common issue and I would need a new camera. Not sure what caused it. It just happened one day and has been like that ever since for about 1 month. Contacted Honda Headquarters and they said they couldn’t do anything since there’s no recall with my VIN associated with it. Even a google search shows that there are too many others experiencing the same issue that this should be covered by a recall. It’s very dangerous to allow it to stay like this.
Car has 60,675 miles with a blown head gasket. Prior to blown head gasket vehicle was brought to Honda in April 2025 for overheating, rough start and leaking coolant and was told fuel pump had a recall so it was changed, Honda did the recall repairs, performed oil change and checked everything else and released the car in working order but a week later after adding 175 miles more to the car it started overheating and had a rough start, the car was immediately brought back to Honda and they said it was a blown head gasket, the car was driven home that same day and left in the driveway undriven until September 3rd 2025 when it was towed to a different Honda dealership where it was confirmed to be blown head gasket and the cost is estimated at $6800 to repair. The car has had all recall issues addressed as well as all service and oil changes done to the vehicle, the car is driven for leisure and never in an unsafe or harmful way that could damage a head gasket.
Check Engine Lights Turned On and Turned Off all advance features on car because of a faulty fuel injector which is the stock fuel injectors that were designed by Honda
The contact's son owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle started sputtering and the engine overheated. The engine overheating warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed, and it was determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that there was a crack in the engine head. Additionally, radiator fluid was leaking into the engine oil. The vehicle was not repaired. The owner had replaced the turbocharger prior to the failure. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.
The paint on our 2018 Honda Accord is fading and the clear coat is no longer on the car on the areas of the hood, trunk and roof at this point. The roof is having issues with the paint peeling and rusting in all four corners. We have reached out to our Honda dealership and did not receive any help with this issue. This car is great shape inside and out except the paint issue. The paint should last longer and it should not be rusting. We do not want the rust to continue as it will soon damage our car.
Upon commuting to work, the car failed to accelerate causing the car to almost suddenly stop while driving; at the same time of the failure warning lights and beeping occurred. No warnings prior to failure. By God’s grace, I was not yet on the expressway and avoided what would have been a horrible accident jeopardizing not only my life but the lives of anyone that would have been behind me. The gasket failed (cylinder #3) and is available for inspection upon request. It was a significant safety issue as the failure occurred without warning causing the car to stop no warning. Yes, the dealer has confirmed the failure and I was quoted a $5800 repair cost in spite of a owning a lifetime power train warranty. No, the vehicle or component has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance. I did place a call to American Honda and we were given a case #15822812 (but this case has since been closed without action.) No warnings occurred before the failure. (Beeping and messages occurred at the time of failure.) Had the failure occurred at a high rate of speed, on an expressway, loss of life could have occurred and no one would know what caused the accident since cars are usually towed away and declared “totaled.” Fortunately, I was on a road of 35mph but in just a few more minutes would have been at a speed of 65mph. There is a further safety concern that the dealer admits that there is a known problem with the OEM component but plans to continue to replace with the sam
Head gasket between cylinders 2 and 3 blown, despite regular maintenance being completed by Honda dealerships. This issue has caused vehicle to go into "limp mode" while on the highway leading to safety concerns. This problem has been confirmed by not only a Honda dealer repair shop but also an independent repair shop and owners. There were not warning prior to the failure. Per the dealership, this is not something that could be caught during regular maintenance and inspections.
While trying to accelerate the car loses power. This has happened many times. The Honda dealership has said the system is on back order and they will call me when it’s available. It’s been months. The “jerks”a few times then the check engine light comes on then the car loses power. The dashboard lights are brake system, emission system, electric power steering, hill assist and ACC system problem.
- Year: 2018 - Make: Honda - Model: Accord Sport 1.5 Turbo - Vehicle Identification Number : [XXX] I am writing to report a safety concern with my 2018 Honda Accord Sport 1.5 Turbo. The vehicle has developed a head gasket problem, which has resulted in significant engine issues. Additionally, I have experienced fuel injector problems, leading to decreased fuel efficiency and rough engine performance. Despite following the recommended maintenance schedule and addressing the issues with the dealer, the problems persist. I have been quoted $7,800 for repairs, which is unacceptable given the vehicle's age and mileage (currently 114,848 miles). I am concerned about the safety and reliability of the vehicle, especially when driving on the highway. The vehicle's blown head gasket has caused ¹: - Loss of power, leading to potential safety issues on the road - Engine hesitation and shutdown while driving, which can increase the risk of accidents I request that NHTSA investigate this matter further and take necessary actions to address the recurring issues with the 2018 Honda Accord 1.5 Turbo engine. I would appreciate guidance on potential next steps to resolve this issue and ensure the vehicle's safety and reliability. - Repair estimates and records from the dealer - Maintenance records, including oil changes and fuel system cleanings - Correspondence with Honda dealership and corporate office Other owners have reported similar issues with the 2018 Honda Accord 1.5 Turbo, including f
The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that several warning lights were illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that all the warning lights turned off, however the check engine warning light remained illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while the contact's children were inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was unofficially diagnosed with fuel pump failure. The contact was advised to contact the dealer because there was a recall for the fuel pump. The dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the contact was informed of a diagnostic fee to perform a diagnostic test. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The contact referenced an unknown recall; however, the VIN was not under recall. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,500.
Car stalled/went into limp mode in the middle of turning onto a busy road almost hit by oncoming traffic. Check engine light came on, as well as all other warnings. Ran diagnostics and show fuel running lean and cyl 2 misfire. Checked all other possible issues related to codes and all signs point to bad fuel injectors.
I was merging onto the freeway and my car went into limp mode. I was lucky enough to pull over to the side because I was on the far right lane. I took the car to the dealer and was told that the car had blown it's head gasket. How can a 2018 honda accord have blown a head gasket so soon? I looked online and many other 2018 honda owners reported the same issues.
I currently own a 2018 Honda Accord 1.5L 4 cylinder with only 62,800 miles at the start of the issue. Around the end of July 2025 the car started to jerk. It started with a slight jerk and escalated daily, over about a week, until the car started going into limp mode. The car was taken to a repair shop near my house. This shop said they were receiving an engine misfire code, replaced all spark plugs, and car driving good again. Around 8/15/2025, I started having the same issues. On 8/19/25 the car went into limp mode again in a busy highway. Took it to a Honda/Acura repair shop. They again found the same misfire codes, replaced 1 spark plug, and the car was driving okay. This Honda/Acura shop found low coolant in the engine and believed I had a leaking head gasket as they have been seeing a high number of Honda 1.5L engines, similar years, with this issue. The shop suggested I contact Honda as it is a known issue. On 8/19, the Honda dealer service department told me they are seeing a lot of that issue but Honda has no current plan to extend warranties or issue a recall, despite the widespread, known issue. The dealership’s service department instructed me to call Honda corporate to discuss the issue and potential coverage. Corporate did open a case for a potential Good Faith repair. I was told that I would have to take it to a Honda dealership for official diagnostics, pay that fee out of pocket, then submit documents and info for coverage review. The car was driving okay for
Have had several misfires, nothing would fix it. Dealership looked at it and said the injectors needed to be replaced. Replaced injectors and still had misfire issues. Car is consuming coolant, and there is exhaust is the cooling system. Meaning blown head gasket.
I have a 2018 Honda Accord EX with 104,000 miles. Head gasket blew and coolant is leaking. Upon further research this is a common problem that is now being discovered once the car drives past 60,000 miles. There is an internal memo asking dealers to let them know if they are seeing this too online. Honda has several class action law suits regarding this being a design flaw of the 2018 with the 1.5 liter engine. I spoke with Honda and they offered no assitance, stating out of warranty and no recall. This is their design issue and in my opinion responsible for repairing this. Otherwise out of pocket its a 5k plus repair.
I was driving on a four-lane highway using adaptive cruise control, gaining on a vehicle ahead. When the cruise control picked up the vehicle, I accelerated slightly, used left turn signal and began changing lanes, the warning for collision mitigation came on and the cruise control disengaged. Continued driving home and the warning continued, and cruise control would not function. Next time used the car the warning light was off, and system functioned properly.
My 2018 Honda Accord is having major engine problems. Earlier this year all of the lights were coming on, 7 of them at a time, and that happened for a few weeks before it started overheating. If I was driving over 50mph, it wouldn't overheat, but if I was driving slow or idling, it was overheating within minutes. I took it to the shop in June where they discovered there was NO COOLANT inside the engine. they put 1.5 gallons of coolant in there, and it fixed the problem temporarily, but 2 weeks ago, all of the lights started coming on again. I called my mechanic, and he said his friend had a 2018 Honda Accord that was doing the same thing and that we need to approach Honda and ask them to fix the problem. turns out a lot of other people on the internet are reporting the exact same problem in their 2018 Honda Accords too, and there's even a class action floating somewhere out there because coolant is leaking into the chambers. we already had a fuel injector recall replaced by Honda last year.
After having the fuel pump recall completed on my Honda Accord, I began experiencing serious engine problems that I had not had before the recall repair. Shortly afterward, my vehicle developed a blown head gasket, coolant leaking into the engine, and turbo issues. These failures occurred outside of my extended warranty (which has also since expired), but they started only after the recall work was performed. I contacted my dealership and Honda corporate for assistance through a goodwill request, but they denied coverage, stating I am outside of warranty and they cannot determine fault. However, I have since learned that other Honda owners have reported experiencing the same or very similar engine issues after this recall repair. Currently, the vehicle is undriveable without risking complete engine failure. The cost of repair is extremely high, leaving me at a financial loss for a problem I believe is directly related to the manufacturer’s recall repair.
I got this car April 2024. By December I went to the Honda dealer for the recall even though nothing was wrong with the car. After December, when I got the recall fast forward to February. My engine is stalling. I could be pulling out my driveway and it’s stalling. I could be going 10 MPH and it’s stalling. I was coming off a ramp and almost got smacked by a 18 wheeler because it started stalling as I’m coming off the ramp. It break checked me on 5th ave. I was driving. No car in front of me. But a car in the back of me. And it just broke on me. Out of no where. Almost causing the Mercedes Benz to hit me. Luckily they were paying attention. I keep taking it to my mechanic. They are seeing nothing wrong. They don’t want to fix something that’s not broken also after I did the recall for the fuel pump. Now all these lights pop up on my dash. Driving used to be fun. Now it’s getting real scary. I am going to go back to the Honda dealer and see what they tell me but I did look up they have to keep fixing it until it’s fixed. Fingers crossed. I can’t get another car and I also can’t keep driving like this. It’s going to cause an accident.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) This has been ongoing since i had the car and have taken to dear ship several times and they say it to happen, so they get the messages and the messages are there. I look it on google and there have several complaints about this issue and i have Honda and they are very rude about it, I have even call here and the young pay no mine what soever told me to call Honda I need mt=y problem resolve please, I am scared to drive my out state , I am [XXX] and live in North Carolina and these people cannot drive. I have pictures which I sent as attachments. Somebody Please help me. My Payments' are 655.00 a month and need to fill safe driving this vehicle INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
My car be braking and nothing be in front of me.It detects something in front of me when nothing be there.
UNKNOWN. I will be driving and automatically it will lock the brakes and nobody will be in front of me. I tried turning it off but somehow it still ends up on. This has been doing it now for some but it’s getting worse and worse. Before it would just blink on the dash “ BRAKE” but wouldn’t apply the brakes but recently it has been applying the brakes and going from 45mph to 60mph it has done it and giving bad whiplash. Now it’s starting to scare me because someone is going to end up rear - ending me and cause an accident. I tried talking to a dealership about it but they said they will look into it and never hear anything about it. I really am starting to be worried Everytime I drive my car that something bad is going to happen. This needs to be fixed and diagnosed
My car is always having some electrical issue but when I type in my VIN number, no recalls are listed under my VIN number and then for the last couple of days I've been experiencing acceleration problems when I look up a 2018 Honda Accord it is saying that fuel pumps have been an issue, but my VIN number pulls up no information as far as me falling under that recall what are the proper steps to get my car looked at to see if my VIN number Even though it's not populating, any recall falls under the recall
Blown head gasket at 82,673 miles. Complete loss of power on the interstate traveling 70mph. This was after replacing all the injectors in April at 79065 miles. Same loss of power while attempting to merge into interstate. All maintenance was performed as scheduled.
While traveling on the interstate at 70-74mph without warning, the tire suddenly blew out, causing the car to shake and forcing me to the shoulder, which almost led to an accident. The car was recently serviced at a Honda dealership, which noted my tire tread was in good condition. The problem appears to be with the sidewall of the tire, which blew, causing the issue.
While driving my 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T, I experienced sudden coolant loss and engine overheating. Upon inspection by a mechanic, it was confirmed that the cylinder head is cracked, which is a known issue on the 2.0T engine. This creates a serious safety hazard because it can cause engine failure while driving, loss of power, or even fire risk if coolant mixes with oil. Honda has not issued a recall, but multiple owners have reported this same problem, and I believe it is a manufacturer defect. This should be investigated as it directly affects vehicle safety and reliability. symptoms: Overheating, coolant disappearing, white smoke, loss of power, warning lights, etc.
Blown head gasket
The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the steering wheel was extremely firm, with the power steering assist disabled. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the steering gearbox and the rack and pinion were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 160,000.
Condensor leak and compressor not working. Condensor replaced under Honda service bulletin but compressor not holding pressure.
The engine coolant began to leak into the cylinders of the engine. The engine began to overheat in the middle of the freeway. I had to shutdown the car down and get it towed. The car is available for inspection. Yes, my safety was at risk. Diagnostics from the dealership indicated that the problem is a design flaw with the head gasket being too thin. There were no indications that the car was going to stall until after it stalled. Honda is putting our lives at risk by allowing citizens to drive a car that has an engine become locked/stall/overheat by design and without warning.
While driving, a warning message appeared on the dashboard stating: “Supplemental Restraint System Problem. See Your Dealer.” The airbag warning light also illuminated. This indicates a malfunction within the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), which controls airbag deployment and seatbelt pretensioners. At this time, it is UNKNOWN what specific component of the SRS failed or malfunctioned. and this issue first appeared 2 moths after purchase but its been coming on and half i don't know how serious this is. This malfunction places my safety and the safety of passengers at risk because the airbags or other restraint features may not function properly in the event of a collision. The problem has not yet been confirmed or repaired by a dealer, and no inspection by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives has been completed as of this report. The warning lamps and message appeared suddenly while driving, with no prior symptoms, noises, or performance issues. Vehicle remains available for inspection if requested.
The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable time frame for the recall repair. The dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
Paint at the center top of the vehicles roof is slowly starting to fade and chip away. I've always hand washed my car since I bought the vehicle in 2019. Noticed the paint at the top of the roof has been the only area where this is happening.
Car went into Limp mode, immediately brought to a Honda dealership. Planet Honda in NJ. Misfire in cylinder 3. Causation of misfire was a defect head gasket allowing coolant to flow into cylinder 3 causing a vehicle shut down and $3625 in repair costs. Warranty covered it but I have heard many other cases with this have not.
While accelerating uphill approximately 65 mph the car suddenly started to shutter and slow down to 35 mph. I forced me to move rapidly over to the right lane on a busy highway almost getting hit by a semi truck. Luckily I was able move to the shoulder and park the vehicle. I shut the vehicle off and tried to start it back up which it did but struggled to turn over. Using my OBDII scanner I found that multiple codes had appeared which included P0087 Fuel Rail/System Pressure to low and P0299 Turbocharger Underboost. Vehicle was towed to my residence where it currently sits until I am able to repair it. Prior to this happening there were No warning lamps or messages or symptoms. The failures first appeared while driving up hill. It was not inspected by manufacturer, police, or insurance. The problem was not taken to dealer or independent service center to confirm since the car is out of warranty and cost to diagnose is ridiculously high. I myself diagnosed the failures and found that the mechanical fuel pump Part# 16790-5PC-H02 seized up and was not providing enough fuel to engine. And diagnosed that the waste gate actuator arm was to loose due to worn out bushings. (Poor engineering in my opinion since there is no way to replace just the bushings on the actuator causing customers to replace the entire turbo.) After replacing the mechanical fuel pump the vehicle was able to start up without issue and drives perfectly fine. I currently still have the fuel pump and the turbo is
If car is idling for over 1 minute, all lights on dash come on. When all lights on, car wont wont go over mph, car will randomly sputter in highway when going over 1rpm and will stall randomly. Reported on reddit by multiple people and when I went in to get it diagnosed it was the fuel injector issue

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
