When driving vehicle on warm starts, vehicle stalls and engine loses power. Warm start means any time vehicle was driven, turned off, and then restarted after less than 30 minutes of being turned off. For example, when fueling at a gas station, or making a quick errand into a store or fast food restaurant. One once occasion, vehicle also stalled after shifting to drive after an extended period of idling (approx. 20 minutes - was idling hoping to avoid stall when beginning to drive again). In general, vehicle will start (but may need a few tried before turning engine over), and idles at 500 RPM, rather than expected 1000 RPM. On acceleration, when vehicle reaches 2500 RPM or greater, needle drops to 0 and vehicle shuts off while driving. On some occasions, vehicle will also stall/shut off when decelerating as well (particularly in parking lots or instances when one may drive and stop/slow frequently). I took vehicle to mechanic and learned that turbo charger was leaking oil into throttle body - both were replaced by mechanic, but issues persisted. The vehicle stalls while driving, putting the safety of myself, my passengers, and other vehicles at risk in case of collision due to sudden stall. The vehicle has been taken to my local mechanic as well as the Ford dealership - in both cases I was advised that the check engine light was not on, and that there was nothing they could do until the light came on or vehicle was stalling consistently. The vehicle is now stalling consisten

Car is only 7 years old and should not need an entire engine.
After a rear-end collision, my passenger front air bag light comes on intermittently. Because of this, I don't know if the air bag was compromised or if the collision caused a faulty sensor. I can't get an answer from Ford.
After a rear-end collision, my check engine light came on. I have been told it is due to a problem with the purge valve; however, the purge value is located in the front of the vehicle. I am concerned that a rear-end collision can cause this vehicle damage to the emission system that is coded incorrectly, or a rear-end collision can cause damage to the car's computer system causing it to throw faulty codes.

I got an email from carfax that there was a recall on my vehicle for brake lines, upon research I confirmed with my VIN & called Ford of Janesville, they told me in March there was no remedy yet, more than a month has passed and there is still no remedy this poses a huge safety risk to drive due to brake fluid leaking out & potentially causing the brakes to not function & cause an accident. Prior to the recall notification my brakes randomly started making a very loud disturbing noise not caused by brake pads/rotors as my vehicle has been inspected by a mechanic employed through the city of Milton. This causes a very serious and dangerous risk to my driving and the driving of others in the event my brakes do not work anymore.

One expects more of a company with your fine reputation and long history. Therefore, I feel sure you will know how to solve my car problem. Since May 9, 2017, I have taken my 2016 Ford Fusion to Ford Dealerships to repair the “Park Brake Malfunction Light, Service Now!” on my car. Whereas, today, it’s still not fixed. Background On November 17, 2015, I went to purchase an extended warranty, for my 2011 Ford Fusion. However, the Finance Manager at Randall Reed’s Park Cities Ford gave me the option to buy a new car. Unlike most car customers, I did not have the opportunity to select a vehicle from the car fleet or showroom floor. He, himself selected the new 2016 Ford Fusion vehicle with approximately 18 miles and prepared the paper work for my signature. Facts I have taken my car to the Ford Dealerships 18 times to have the “Park Brake Malfunction Light” fixed. Again, on March 6, 2023, the same problem keeps reoccurring. Every time the Park Brake Malfunction Light comes on there are two more lights from the Brake Systems that appears. After repeated repairs visits, this problem is still on going. As a value Ford customer, I should not have to consistently deal with this car problem on a monthly basis. As of yesterday April 10,2023, the light came back on. Here are the Facts. Below is a listing of the dates of repairs (see attached Invoices) 1. May 9, 2017 2. February 1, 2018 3. March 26, 2018 4. May 10, 2018 5. June 18, 2018 6. September 6, 2018 7. December 17, 2019 8. April 2
Engine on my 2016 has coolant leaking into the engine through cylinder 2. This is a known issue and Ford has not done anything to correct issue. Dealership says engine is bad and wants over $8K for a new engine. Ford should do right by it’s loyal customers.
Cylinder two misfire diagnosed with having coolant run into the cylinder. This can cause fires and cause car to stop causing potential road hazard. Dealership said engine is no good and this is a ford known issue for this type of engine but there are no ford backed fixes and it would cost me $8k for a new engine in order to be road safe. This needs to be brought up yo fire and they should fix this known issue on eco boost engines.

As I was driving my kids home from school, my car suddenly started to make a loud whining noise every time I accelerated. Eventually, the car stopped accelerating altogether despite me pushing on the gas pedal. To my surprise and my children's fright, the car suddenly jerked forward, nearly causing a collision with the car in front of us. In order to reassure my children and assess the situation, I pulled over to the side of the road. Although I didn't find any visible damage under the hood, the loud whining noise persisted even after restarting the car and attempting to accelerate. This problem definitely sound like a transmission problem.

Coolant leaking into Cylinder 1 causing the spark plug and ignition coil to be replaced. Replaced the parts and Engine light came on again. Water leaks into the trunk. many owners have reported similar issue, one example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRxTABAUxcU&ab_channel=Nickthecarguy
Brake line hose burst causing the brakes to fail while driving . I was not able to stop the car had to pull the emergency brake. This is the third time in two years.
My trunk keeps opening on it's own. With the keys on me, not in my hands. Without the keys on me. While driving, while not driving, just completely at random. My trunk is continuously opening. From my research this seems to be a pretty common thing for this make and model of car, and I think it's time that it be recalled and fixed. It's not safe from a driving standpoint nor a personal safety standpoint.
My fusion is experiencing a coolant leak in the engine. After research, I have found it is a KNOWN problem by ford, that several people are experiencing. They are refusing to issue and recalls or cover any repair costs associated with the issue.

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
