This vehicle was manufactured with a defective fuel injector pump that has led to excessive wear and damage to the engine. We have experienced catastrophic failure with a repair estimate pending of over $17,000. When the components failed, our driver was on a dangerous section of road. He was not struck by other traffic, but was left stranded for 7 hours. Our company has purchased 6 of these Ford F250 with 6.7L engines. Ford needs to issue a recall on these systems.

I bough this truck certified preowned from Jenkins Chevy of Homosassa. Big mistake. The truck has been in the shop more than on the road. The truck keeps refusing to start. We replaced the fuel pump and it ran for a few days then wouldn't start again. i replaced the fuel pump again thinking it was a faulty pump. ran for a few days again then stopped. i took it to the closest repair shop ( not ford because i am in Big Pine Key and there is no Ford around) and they hooked it up to the computer to find out it was the fuel rail pressure sensor among other codes. Replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor. Ran for a few days then quit. Now we find out it was the fuel pump relay. This relay is "non serviceable" and quit during driving. Stalled the truck out and wouldn't start again. I am glad i was not on the 7 mile bridge (only 2 lanes) when it died. This si a big problem and could've caused horrible accident!

When traveling this past weekend at 60-65mph, after crossing a small bump in the road, my truck lost control and vibrated into the oncoming lane by more than 50%. My truck continued left while I held the steering wheel to the right. This is not the first time this has happened, but always happens when traveling at highway speeds. This time, however, was the most drastic and scariest loss of control we have experienced. At the same time, I was hauling our horses which made for an even more dangerous situation. It was very nerve-wracking. Thankfully, no one was in the oncoming lane in that spot at that moment. I have experienced this loss of control multiple times after hitting small bumps/ripples in the road, some bumps so small that you can't see them...only feel them when the truck reacts. I spoke with an agent (Diane) at Ford and have an appointment with Byrd Kultgen Ford next Tuesday. The vehicle has not be inspected at this time. There have been no warning lamps/messages with this issue. This problem only presents itself at highway speeds (above 50mph) which I only drive one weekend per month...otherwise, I stay local at regular city speeds (30-50). This problem was first noticed about year ago, but I wasn't sure at the time if it was the road or the truck. As the months have passed, along with how bad we experienced it this past weekend and googling information about others with this same issue, it is definitely the truck.

I will pull over and shut the vehicle off and restart the vehicle and all of the messages will go away. Ford hass updatd my software but the messages keep returning. No codes are displayed and the truck runs fine. Ford knows of the issue but they will not fix the issue due to no recall.

I experienced the Ford truck death shake for the first time while driving 53 mph on a county road. Truck went over a few bumps in a consecutive manner and the steering wheel started shaking uncontrollable. This went on for close to a minute, I had a passenger and her child in the truck and it scared everyone. This is insane! This is Ford's top of the line heavyduty truck!

We are experiencing issues with the AC / Radio Control Head in our 2019 Ford F250 Super Duty, Crew-Cab Truck. Some of the controls for the AC unit are inoperable specifically the re-circulation control. As a result, the AC system is delivering humid air, and the system is also delivering extremely unpleasant odors into the cab of the vehicle. Some more serious than others including, exhaust fumes, engine compartment oil and gas odors, and sewage odors when stopped at an intersection. This has been going on for over 6 months now and the local dealership including Ford customer Service continue to inform me the part is on back order. After researching this further, it appears Ford is experiencing this problem with their Explorers, and it has become a recall for this model. This has become a serious issue for us as we experience nausea, headaches and our clothing absorbs these odors causing ongoing discomfort. This is my work truck, and I have associates and customers in my vehicle. It has caused me unwanted stress and tension as a result of these issues. I believe this is occurring with other F-Series trucks as it is noticeably clear there are no parts available. I have called several dealerships throughout Arizona and across the country, no one has them available. One dealership had a part in Michigan however, they were holding it for a customer. They advised me their customer is experiencing the same thing we are with our Truck. I believe this should be registered as a recall

The black plastic "roof rails" on the roof of my truck began cracking several months ago - I reported this to the dealership and just got excuses. I showed this to my dealership again on Friday and they said they would look into it. Today while driving the truck the entire roof rail came off and flew into traffic on the highway.. luckily no one hit it or did it cause a crash, etc. However when I did look this issue up on the internet it seems Ford already has an active recall for this type of problem on another model car, however google searching the issue with my truck I found hundreds of complaints on different bulleting boards, and the other problem is apparently Ford is not covering the replacement of this part, and the only way to replace it is to remove the rear window (which has also resulted in MANY shattered windows) Ford did a recall for a similar issue with the Ford Explorer - The Ford reference number for this recall is 21S22. I fell this is an issue that should be addressed and how Ford plans to fix this as I even purchased an extended "platinum warranty" from Ford on this vehicle - - yet now they are refusing to do anything I dont have to pay hundreds of dollars to fix or risk shattering my windows.

Tires were rotated Ball joints were checked and were good. Truck still has death wobble. I'm sure this is why the truck was traded. Ford has declined to repair under tsb 18 2268 due to build date.

Driving at highway speed 65-70 mph, I drove across a rough patch of road. This rough patch was along a curve in the road. The truck from end violently vibrated, and it felt that I didn't have steers control of the vehicle. I lightly tapped the brakes and the vehicle began slowing down, while the truck drifted into the adjacent lane. The vibration continued until my speed dropped to approximately 35mph. It's was like the truck reached unstable resonate frequency. Initially, the vibration was some but grew violently quickly, and seem to continue to grow violently until I slowed the vehicle down. It wasn't a safe condition for me or other cars around me. Much less for the people in the truck who were shocked with fear. I'm traveling across country with an RV, I'm just lucky that the RV wasn't in tow at the time of the violent wobble. For what I read online, ford was aware of this hazard, and never shared this with me or the original owner. That is unacceptable.

Ford Death Wobble Complaint We experienced the Ford - F250 'death wobble' twice while driving on the highway at speed around 75 mph. The first time it happened on 07/05/2024 and the second incident happened on 07/13/2024. In both cases we were on the highway driving around 73-75 mph, straight ahead, without any turns. The road was dry and there were no other driving issues. All of a sudden, the truck steering wheel started shaking violently and the whole truck went into uncontrollable vibrations, during which the truck was impossible to steer. The first time the vibrations lasted about 20-30 seconds, the second time was longer, around 40-50 seconds. We were at an incredible risk of an accident and death. I am a very experienced driver. We were extremely lucky that the traffic was light and I managed to let go of the gas, let the truck reduce the speed slowly and then slightly tapped on the break until complete stop. Had we had heavier traffic, turns on the road, or a more unexperienced driver, this could have led to a fatal accident. The truck in 2019 and has around 118K miles. The tires are in excellent condition and the tire pressure was correct. The problem is well known and widely discussed and reported as the ‘Ford Death Wobble.’ There were not any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the occurrence. There is no active recall for this, although is it a life-threatening issue.

A/c blower fan blowing irregular cutting out and returning to blow. eventually stopped and replaced the blower, still not working. took to local mechanic pressed on fuses and relays and blower worked for a day. took to another shop to get second opinion and to repair issue. same thing checked fuses and said vehicle was working as planed. 1 day later same issue no air. returned to same shop to re investigate issue, claimed wiring harness and fuse box under hood to be replaced. (remove dash, remove freon, flush system, refill with freon, run wiring around front of engine compartment, reinstall all the above for 6k) all of this for a melted fuse (#43) and a possible burnt wire. if new harness is same gauged wiring, then what is stop from another burning issue? picked up truck for another opinion to repairing or replacing harness. at this time still no air and worried it may start a fire from burning again.

I was driving my truck with no prior issues nor check engine light warnings, suddenly my truck began to lose speed, warning light came on instrument panel stating something to the effect of reduced power, I heard a loud noise (similar to the sound of a tire blown), as I looked out of the drivers side window I observed flames coming from the left front fender well. I was able to pull out of traffic coasting off into the median. Once in the median My wife and myself had to evacuate the truck immediately for our own safety. the engine compartment was rapidly becoming fully involved with fire. Attempted to extinguish fire with three fire extinguishers, called 911 and waited on fire department to arrive. My truck is now a total lose, I have read that your department has received similar issues that I have described.I felt it necessary to report my issue to hopefully help resolve this issue with Ford trucks.

I had it fixed under warrenty at 19,545 miles. Now it is out of warrenlty as of Dec 8th 2023 and I had two incident on Dec 10th ( 2 days after warrently expired) I believe I have around 47,000 miles on it now. I also paid for and extended warrentty and they said they dont know if it will cover it. This is very scary as I had 4 kids in my car taking my son to his birthday party and we all thought we were going to die. We were in the fast lane and the car behind us was honking and I could not even steer the truck. There are all kinds of videos on the internet showing that this is a known issue with 2019 fords and yet there are no recalls. So i guess if we die next time it will be just " oh well. there is nothing to be done. I am scared to death to ever drive this truck again. Please do something about the death wobble.

Over the past 100 miles my F250 4x4 has nearly lost control because of a violent shaking, or wobbling of the front end. It has happened four (4) times when driving on paved surfaces at approximately 50-55mph; it has happened once while I was braking at approximately 45mph (this would be the 5th time). I immediately slowed down (without hard braking) when the wobbling occurred, but I believe that if I hadn't, the vehicle could have been forced into the opposite lane of travel. The current mileage is 28,859 It is available for inspection I'm taking it into my Ford dealership (for the first time) tomorrow to tell it about the problem, but it was also recommended I report the issue here because of numerous similar complaints. No dash warning lights came on before, during, or after the incidents. Thank you

I am unsure on what malfunctioned. When driving if we hit a bump in the road or the road is uneasy the truck begins to violently shake to the point we have to completely stop the vehicle. We have had it at numerous shops across the state and no one can tell us what is wrong. They say everything is fine with it. There are no lights on the dash signaling anything is wrong. We consider this a HUGE safety risk not only to ourselves and our kids but other drivers on the road as well. It could cause a major accident if someone was to lose control while shaking. This puts us, our family, and other drivers at risk.

I have read up on this and it seems to be called the “death wobble” and can not be fixed. I have had a baby and another small child in the truck with me at one of the occurrences. This wobble causes me to almost lose control over the vehicle. Is there a recall I am unaware of for the suspension and steering? I have read that customers have tried to fix the issues and have not been able to. My family uses this truck often as we don’t have another option at the moment. Steering and suspension were compromised at highway speeds upon hitting a mild change in surface (such as a bridge expansion joint). The front axle bounces and shakes violently and steering is extremely difficult. Reducing speed (below highway speed while on a highway in traffic) eventually ends the violent shaking and bouncing. This problem has not been confirmed by a dealer or independent service center nor has it been inspected by others. There were also no warning lamps or messages.
