Randomly the ac line will freeze over and no air flow will come out of the vents although the fans can be heard working. Issues is not a simple thing to be duplicated and have brought it to 3 ford locations and still having the issue. They won’t attempt to repair anything else that could be the issue like the compressor because of fear of ford giving a bad review to the shop and mechanic. Just this week 2/28 I took the vehicle in while issue was happening and once the line defrosted and air flow came back I was again sent away because they could not replicate. This is a huge problem as I cannot defrost or defog my windshield in cold weather.

On several occasions, while in drive, the parking brake will automatically engage uncommanded, resulting in an abrupt stop. This has happened a total of 7 times since 4/26/2023; 6 times with the owner operating the vehicle, and one time with a sales rep operating the vehicle. Unlike the collision emergency braking system, the heads up display displayed “parking brake” at the time of the incident. Following the incident with the sales rep, the dealership was “unable to replicate the issue”. The vehicle was released to the owner where the fault occurred in the middle of an intersection. Had this not been a three-way stop, serious bodily injury or death may have resulted to/from oncoming traffic.

So I was driving for an hour & it felt like my AC went out. You could hear the AC blowing but it felt like it was restricted through the air vent. I had it on 7 & it felt like I had it on 1 the air was barely coming out. You could definitely hear the air trying to blow when I raised it up to 7 but no air was getting thru the vents. Felt like it clogged up. Also the temperature of the very little air that was coming through the vent was warm. So I had to lower down the windows just to get fresh air in the cab as my family was complaining it was getting hot. All of this happening at 550 miles

Ford has acknowledged there is a defect but the truck is operating normally and they are trying to fix the issue. Burring noise coming from front end - seems 4 wheel drive partially engages approximately 2-5 miles down the road after a cold start. Hitting the 4x4 button and transitioning to 4x4 alleviates the noise. Seems to happen during cold weather. Reading online, it looks to be an issue affecting the IEW for the 4x4.

When selecting the TOWING option on the dash cluster, the dash shuts off to a black screen and restarts while driving. This prevents seeing the speed and other dash information. The truck also sends warning to phone after dash shut off that power steering, ABS, seatbelt control, and airbag control is malfunctioning. Took to dealer and they were able to reproduce the issue. The replaced dash but did not fix. They escalated the issue to Ford who said they are working on it back in October. Still no fix.

My truck worked fine for six months and then Ford did an update(power up) on December 14, 2023. On December 15, 2023 I took my truck to a dealership to find out why my phone, making and receiving calls, produced a static response. In order to make phone calls, I need to stop my vehicle, turn off the vehicle and open and close the door. Dealership techs had no idea why. Have talked to Ford Motors half a dozen times since then and was told Ford is aware of the problem, most likely caused by the December 14, 2023 update. Six weeks later and each time I have called I'm told that Ford is working on it. My call yesterday left me with the impression that Ford isn't all that interested in resolving the matter. Why isn't there a recall on this problem, since I'm told the static on cell phone calls through the sync 4 system is quite common.Thank you.

My vehicle ended up going in ditch backwards and I hit a mailbox and ditch. Earlier in the week when I went to go from reverse to forward it felt like it was locked and then it would engage. We just purchased this truck through our business and have complained to the dealer. The dealer made a claim through Ford and Ford responded by stating they will not repair/replace the windshield. They claim that our issue with the extremely distorted view when the sun hits is caused by an outside force. This is extremely disappointing to say the least and leaves us with a bad impression/customer experience. This truck was delivered to us this way, brand new and we made the complaint right away. We have not had an incident yet, but as the sun is more apparent the probability of an accident becomes more likely. If there is anyway you can help, please advise.

The issue occurs any time when the temperature is approx 32 degrees F or below. After starting up the vehicle and driving for 2 miles a loud grinding/rumble sound occurs and last from 10-120 seconds. The sound eventually goes away on its own but it sounds as if there are parts rubbing or grinding together. The noise is below the drivers seat. I've taken it to the dealer after the first episode however the temperature was not under 32F when they inspected the vehicle. There are no warnings when this sound occurs and to date this has not been a safety issue but it has only occurred 6-7 times since I've owned the vehicle(have not had many days that I've drove it when temperature below 32F) and I worried if this continues there will be a failure.

Problem affecting my 2023 f-150 along with many other owners who have 4wd and are in cold climates. See [XXX] for more. This pertains to the Electronic integrated wheel end (EIWE). In cold weather, vehicle begins to actuate the EIWE causing a grinding writhing the hub of the F-150. This grinding takes place while driving in 2H, or can be replicated by shifting from 4H back to 2H. The truck will then make the grinding noise for about 15 to 30 seconds. Ford has no fix at this time but a recall must take place to fix this faulty system! INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The front transfer case or wheel ends will grind causing vibration and an audible growl when the outside temperature is below 32 degrees and driven first thing in the morning before the internal components have had a chance to come up to normal operating temperature. I suspect the hubs are either not fully engaging or disengaging and thus causing the grinding. This happens regularly in the AM and will last for 30sec to 2 minutes unless you press the 4 wheel high button. This is a saftey concern due to the fact that components are being prematurely worn and at risk of sudden failure resulting in the inability of operation. No error codes or warning lights.

Whenever temperatures are below freezing, the TCCM engages the front IWE system and hubs to warm up for the first 2 miles of driving. However, when the system disengages, the hubs are not fully disengaging from the IWE shaft and a loud grinding noise happens. I have taken my vehicle to the Ford dealer and they gave a contradictory answer by saying that it was a “issue,” but that it was “operating normally.“ It is definitely not normal and they know it is a defective system that is damaging the drive system on a brand new vehicle with less than 800 miles on it.

Truck is not capable of intermittent temperature settings. It is either HOT or COLD. Setting manually to 63 degrees and it’s blowing 80 degree air. the final setting, towards the colder option is LO, and that blows ambient air, in this case cold. So. You options are COLD or HOT making maintaining a reasonable temperature in the cabin and clear windows impossible.

Loud humming noise coming from the driver side front end. It comes on randomly when temps are below freezing. It is something near the wheel such, likely the IWE as it grows higher pitch at higher speeds and lower at lower at lower speeds. When you hit the button to go from 2H to 4H or switching to 4 wheel drive, the humming goes away. Switching back to 2 wheel drive and it comes back sometimes. I see a lot of posts online with others having the same similar issue. This is on a 2023 xlt f150 with the 2.7 liter ecoboost. I contacted the dealer and they are aware of the issue but have not heard of any solutions from Ford. It does not appear to be a formal recall issue yet, but my guess is that it is something that should be recalled. This noise is fairly loud, I can send a recording of it. It also makes the steering wheel shake a little bit with it happening, fairly minor, but obviously not good. Sounds like they need a redesign on the electronic IWE.

Loud buzzing noise interrupts driver focus. This happens intermittently, but has occurred while braking at busy intersections, while backing into urban parking spaces, while attempting to use the camera for safe maneuvering - or just at random times while driving. Navigation has been interrupted, preventing the ability to make safe decisions to arrive at a desired location. Voice-based services have been interrupted, prompting the need for physical interaction (which entices the driver away from hands-free operation and taking their eyes off the road). Backup camera has been disabled (blank screen) while switching to Reverse preventing detection of objects behind the vehicle. Infotainment/vehicle operations are disrupted while system randomly reboots (and often buzzes loudly). Additional issues render the audio system as annoying, buzzing during songs whether on Carplay or via USB music. The optional (and expensive) B&O Unleashed audio system has been rendered almost useless. Noise has been so disruptive as to startle me during operation of the vehicle on multiple occasions since purchasing the vehicle in July 2023. Updates have been hinted at to address this problem but have not been delivered or realized - and yes Auto Update is on and I'm manually checking for updates as well. October OTA did not address this issue (and may have made it worse - although my high hopes for this update may have just increased my annoyance at its persistence). Issue #1: Rain Sensing Wiper function is completely inoperable. Wipers must be operated manually. Issue #2: Blinker stalk becomes stuck in off and on positions. This malfunction has put myself and others at risk because the vehicle, at times, is unable to inform others on the road of the appropriate vehicle lane change. This risk has become heightened in periods of warm weather, where the stalk becomes "more stuck" than usual. The dealership has replicated the issue and attempted to resolve several times; after several months of waiting for a solution from Ford and recent near-misses on highway trips, I have decided to escalate with Ford as well as with NHTSA. The vehicle has no warning lights nor signals warning any user that an error with the blinker stalk may occur while driving. Issue #3: Left side blind side monitor false readings when there is no vehicle on driver side blind side. Dealer unable to verify. False positives desensitize driver to true positives, therefore, this is an added risk.

Luckily for me I was going between 5-10 miles per hour and did not have any vehicles around me. However, the issue can be dangerous if I vehicles behind me and the parking brake engages with no warning. Once the parking brake engages the only way to turn off the parking brake is to do it manually.
