The rear windshield spontaneously exploded while the vehicle was stationary. I confirmed this was not caused by any impact or debris. There have been several other reports on various websites of this issue, across multiple models including the F150 and Bronco, and potentially being caused by faulty wiring of the rear defroster. Ford has not issued a recall and will not accept responsibility for this defect.

A certified independent inspection company discovered welding on the main chassis of my Ford F-150. The welding is located on the front left frame area. I purchased the vehicle brand new, and it has never been in any accident or collision. This welding on a critical structural part creates a serious safety risk. Frame integrity may be compromised in normal driving or in the event of an impact. I transport my children daily in this vehicle, and I am afraid to drive it due to the possibility of structural failure. The official Ford dealer inspected the vehicle and kept it for approximately three weeks but provided no explanation or repair. The regional Ford office has delayed their technical report for more than five months with no response. The defect has been confirmed and is permanent. No warnings or lights appeared prior to discovering the issue. This is a manufacturing-related structural defect affecting vehicle safety, stability, and integrity. A proper safety resolution is required.

Daytime running lamp failure and fog light failure. Daytime running lamp failure causes poor visibility and the failure defect defeats its entire purpose for use. Fog light failure creates poor visibility during fog conditions and could result in not being visible to other drivers.

The transmission will downshifting and the transmission starts jerking then the engine starts missing for about 30 seconds to a minute but the ford dealership said it's not showing any codes so it's not happening now I can't get it fixed they didn't think having a vehicle that starts missing for no reason isn't a problem but the torque converter won't throw codes and it's attached directly to the crankshaft so it's messing with the engine to get it to start missing

DRLs have partially failed on both headlights, vehicle is available for inspection. This seems to be a common problem for similary F-150 according forums and personal observations of other vehicles. The DRLs are a safety feature and not functions DRLs create a safety issue, as on coming drivers are not able to see the vehicle as clearly. Has not been reproduced or confirmed by dealer. Has not been inspected by manufacturer, police or insurance. I did report to Ford Customer Service but was told there was nothing they could do about it. No lights, messages or warnings. Problem has been visible for a least a year, but have not experienced further failure. Only way to fix is to replace the entire headlight assembly with a total cost of around $4000 for both assemblies.

The transmission shifts hard from 1st to 3rd during the first few minutes of operations. When I make the turn out of my resident each morning, it nearly fishtails due to the fat that the transmission stays in 1st gear until around 2500-3000 rpms, then shifts violently to 3rd gear. The tires actually spin. After a few stop and goes, and the transmission has cycled through the gears several times, it shifts normally. I have taken it to the Ford dealer in Royal Palm Beach, FL. They said that there were no recalls, despite there being several complaints from other truck owners about the same issue. Ford knows that the 10 speed transmission in the F150 has shifting issues.

The windshield wipers on my 2021 Ford F-150 are inoperable. The wipers suddenly stopped working with no warning. The vehicle had already received Recall 23S10, which was supposed to replace the defective wiper motor arm. However, the wipers have failed again, suggesting the recall remedy was inadequate or that defective components are still being used. Ford and the servicing dealer refuse to reopen the recall or provide coverage, even though this is clearly the same safety issue. Without functioning wipers, the vehicle is unsafe to drive in rain or snow. I request that NHTSA investigate whether Ford’s recall 23S10 remedy is effective and whether additional corrective action or a new recall should be issued to address continued wiper motor failures on these vehicles.

Got the truck towed to Ford dealer. After diagnosing the issue I was made aware by Ford service department that one of the high pressure fuel injector cracked and was spraying gas out which caused me to run out of gas. With gas spraying in the engine I was at severe risk of a fire. No warning lights or messages appeared when this happened. After investigating I noticed Ford has a recall for this issue for other vehicles but not the F-150.

I have taken my truck to two seperate ford dealerships. Both acknowledging something strange on the transmission with the hesitations, the jerkiness and the hard shifting that happens. The first replaced the trans fluid and the filter. The second dealer replaced the valve body. During the 5th visit. They had me drive around their foreman to show him the problems. While he did feel the jerkiness and hesitations I feel, he said that its pretty much not bad enough yet and that the dealership would be held responsible for the cost of a new transmission if they replaced it and ford deemed it not needing to be replaced. Ford corp told me they wouldn't intervene with their attempt to fix it. The ford dealer sent me home and didn't fix anything the 5th time, even after explaining I felt harsh jerking on the way home to the point it felt like it was kicking me and a bunch of white smoke came out of the tailpipe. I even provided them a video of the white smoke when completely stopped after had been driving for 3 hours. The service on this truck is completely up to date and absolutely no reason at 41k miles I should have all these issue with this transmission. Ford has been resisting to replace this transmission but is willing to sell me a $4k extended warranty. Its getting old. This saga needs to end. Ford needs to just recall these transmissions already. On Sunday the 12th I started the vehicle with a error of " Park brake fault Service now" I had the car taken to the nearest Ford dealership as it sat for 3 weeks. I was told the recall for the vehicle around this issue has been done twice so Pundmamm Ford the local dealer did not want to do it again. They ended up replacing the driver rear brake caliper bled the brakes and said this fixed it. They did not replace the harness as they said twice repaired was weird that Ford allowed this. I ended up paying for the repairs caused by this recall of over 1000.00 dollars. I have drove it now for two days and already the brake light engaged. Luckily it released and I was able to drive home. I have called Ford on this multiple times as well talked with supervisors and need escalation at this point.

The daytime running lights (DRLs) on my Ford F-150 failed and it is clear from online research that they are prone to failure. Yes, it is available for inspection upon request. The failure of the DRLs put safety at risk because they are important for visibility, protecting the driver and pedestrians. A dealership confirmed the issue. No, it has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or any other 3rd party. No, there were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to the failure. The issue was not noticed until I, the owner, was outside the vehicle and observed it.

Both Running Daytime Lights have stopped working. This is a common issue with 2021 and up F150's. The issue results in a loss of visibility during daylight hours, creating a safety issue during daytime hours. This also seems to be negligence on the manufacturer's side. My understanding of the issue is a part of the headlight gets too hot under normal operating conditions and results in a melting or possible burning of a section of the headlight assembly. This is also a potential fire hazard from this area which is close to the engine also.

Ford has issued a TSB 22-2372 regarding the rear camera image going blank when placing the vehicle in reverse. This issue clears by restarting the vehicle. The cause is a software error in the Image Processing Module and SYNC 4 system. The danger is backing up without being able to see anything besides what is in your mirrors without the software update to fix the issue. Numerous children have already died because of vehicles without the safety of a back-up camera. I took my vehicle to the dealership to have it fixed and was quoted almost $1000 dollars to update the software. I complained and the dealership forwarded my complaint to Ford who gave "assistance" bringing the bill to $361 dollars. My question is why a mandatory recall hasn't been ordered for this obvious safety issue? Luckily, I can easily pay this but what about those who cannot? I asked Ford (case #CXH-xxx) why they are not providing the fix for free since it is a safety issue and they used the excuse of the warranty being expired. Hopefully NHTSA will make Ford fix this safety issue for fellow consumers. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The daytime running lights on the Driver's side of my truck went out, which in the case of my vehicle means replacing the whole headlight assembly, which Ford is stating costs $2,000. I did not realize how much of a problem this is until I started reading online forums where it seems to be a problem with many Ford F-150 owners. Having to replace an entire headlight assembly for the running lights is asinine. This is a safety issue, and Ford should be made aware that they are creating undue hardships for their vehicle owners, as safety issues have to be addressed, and for some unforeseen reason, warranties and extended warranties do not seem to cover this issue, which appears to be very widespread, and most likely a manufacturing defect.

Vehicle: 2021 Ford F-150 Component: Exterior Lighting – Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) / Headlights (High Beams) Safety Concern: Vehicle visibility and forward illumination Both daytime running lights (DRLs) on my 2021 Ford F-150 have failed completely. After the DRLs stopped working, the high beams also became inoperative, leaving only the low beams working. The Ford dealer attempted a repair by replacing the control modules, but that did not fix the issue. They advised that the entire headlight assemblies need to be replaced. However, these assemblies are very expensive, so I have not replaced them yet. I am currently limited to using only the low beams. Without DRLs, the truck is less visible during daytime driving, increasing the risk of a collision. Without high beams, nighttime visibility is reduced, especially on rural or dark roads. This failure affects federally required lighting functions, compromising safety in both day and night driving. The problem is not normal wear: these are sealed LED assemblies that should last the life of the vehicle. The fact that both assemblies failed strongly indicates a manufacturing or design defect. Owners face high out-of-pocket costs because the only fix offered is full assembly replacement. Other 2021 F-150 owners have reported similar failures of DRLs and headlights online, showing this is not an isolated incident. I request that NHTSA investigate this issue as a safety defect and require Ford to issue a recall to replace the defe

My Ford truck was part of Recall 22S26 / NHTSA Recall 22V250, which required the replacement of faulty windshield wiper arms. On 12/12/2023, I took my vehicle to Karl Flammer Ford for the recall service. The receipt I was given states that both wiper arms were replaced as part of the recall. In 2025, I noticed the driver-side wiper arm was loose and could potentially detach while in use. Upon closer inspection, I found the stamped date code on the wiper arm showed “2021,” the year of my truck. This indicates the part is one of the original faulty components included in the recall and was never replaced, despite the dealer’s claim that it was. A failing wiper arm poses a significant safety hazard because loss of windshield visibility during rain could easily result in a crash. I presented this evidence to Karl Flammer Ford, but they continue to insist the wiper arms were replaced. Ford Motor Company has been unresponsive and unhelpful, repeatedly transferring me between departments and promising call-backs that never come. No progress has been made toward fixing the issue. At this time, the vehicle remains equipped with the recalled part, which is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle has only been reviewed by the dealer; Ford has not conducted any proper inspection or resolution. No police or insurance inspection has taken place. There were no warning lamps or dashboard messages prior to this discovery. The only symptom was the driver-side wiper arm becoming loos
