This morning I was driving to work going approximately 45 mph and the engine in my 2021 Ford Bronco shut off/stalled. Thank GOD there was no one behind me at that time. The dash board lit up and a message appeared saying "put the car in park and restart the engine" There was nothing touched on the car... not the gear shift... nothing to cause the car to shut off. I will contact the Dealership asap but what also concerns me is that fact that I have been trying to get a separate issue resolved regarding a recall. The dealer ship is still trying to get the part to remedy the recall but I dont think the two issues are related.

On 03/14/2023 at 1300 hrs. I had an appointment with the Ford service department in regards to safety recall 22V859. I arrive at the service station and was informed that the part was not available. One of the employees there told me to come back the next day 03/15/2023 at 1000 hrs. and he gave me his word that the vehicle would be repaired at that time. I arrived on that date and after waiting an hour I was called into the office and told they did not have the part. That same employee told me he would call me by the end of that week and here we are on 03/27/2023 and I have not heard from Ford. This is very irresponsible on Fords behalf.

Power Train
Filed Mar 26, 20234,500 milesAZ

On 3/25/23, I was driving down a 40m and then completely shut down. The entire engph road. I had been stopped at a stoplight and as soon as I started to drive again, the car started moving forwardine, all power (dashboard lights, display screen, everything). I panicked and went to go turn the caution lights on--they wouldn't work. As people behind me started honking, I tried to roll down my window to motion them on---the window wouldn't roll down. I had no choice but to open my car door, and stick my hand out to start waving people on behind me. Knowing this was a dangerous situation to be stuck in the middle of the road with no way for cars behind me to know I was stalled, I called 911. They transferred me to the local police department and within 10 minutes, an officer got behind me and turned his lights on to notify other cars to slow down and go around. After about 45 minutes of waiting for a tow truck, the police were getting concerned because of the continued safety risk. So they had another officer jump my car. That got it into the parking lot of a CVS, where it immediately died again. When it's dead, it tries to revive itself and periodically, lights will come on and start flickering. You then go to try to turn it on and are unable to. The latter situation has happened to me twice in the past (where it will not turn on, lights flicker, etc). However, in both of those former situations, my car was parked (once at my apartment complex and once at church) so there was no

I have a 2021 Bronco Sport Badlands with the 2.0. When taking the vehicle out after it has been sitting overnight or longer, as others have stated, the brakes are extremely sensitive and will groan/make a loud noise when even the slightest pressure is applied. I assumed until now that it has been condensation on the rotors, but seeing as the frequency it occurs has been everytime I get in the vehicle, I did some investigation and found out this is quite a common issue here. No brake performance issues have been noticed, just annoying noise. Adding my experience for documentation purposes.

Had the vehicle in for regular service and recall repair January 13, 2023. I was informed that the recall could not be completed due to there not being any available parts for the repair. It has now been four weeks and I haven't heard from the dealership about completing this repair. I am concerned about the lack of interest on the part of Ford Motor Company and its local dealer in completing these repairs. The statement about there not being any parts for the repair is not totally true. The company is using all available parts for production and their bottom line rather for the safety and well-being of their customers. There are at least ten (10) like vehicles on the dealership's lot at the present time that the parts could be taken from for repair of the vehicle and my safety and well-being.

The vehicle was acting weird and not providing power in the way that I would expect it when accelerating. If the vehicle cannot accelerate, I am at risk because I may be merging into traffic and a car could hit me. I tried calling the dealer but they don't have a solution to the problem yet. It is a safety recall but they don't have a way to fix it. There's also a lawsuit that I'm not related to but about this same issue. So I'm concerned this is going to take a long time to be solved. The screen inside the car malfunctioned and turned off but I'm not 100% sure if that's related. Below is the recall that I am referring to Manufacturer Recall Number22S73 NHTSA Recall Number22V859 I'm just hoping to be able to drive a safe car and I'm concerned that this is a danger to me and my passengers and I'm not sure what I can do about it because even the dealership doesn't have a solution.

This has happened twice to me. First time, I was driving around a roundabout - and the engine kicked off and there were a lot of alerts across the screen. I was safely able to coast off the road and onto the side where I sat for a little bit trying to restart it. After pushing the start button several times - it started back up and I was on my way. Most recently, last week - I was driving on the highway and the engine died and so many alerts were going across the screen. I couldn't pay much attention to the errors because a semi almost rammed my back end. I was on an incline on an off ramp and was trying to coast to the side as much as I could. It was too scary to monitor what was happening on the screen. I sat there trying to restart the Bronco and after several tries - it started back up and I was able to drive away. The Bronco is at the Dealership right now for them to look it over. No warning messages or anything - the engine shut down and then the alerts started. It appeared to be like every alert that could come up. There were so many. I also have the squealing and loud brakes. On back up .... they scream bloody murder. It is so embarrassing.

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
