The driver's side sliding passenger door doesn't properly latch in hot weather. Instead of latching, the automatic mechanism continually tries to latch without success. Sometimes driving down the road, the door motor will continue to try to latch the door. Sometimes it will set off the alarm. The door simply will NOT latch in hot weather unless pressure is applied to the back end of the door (nearest the rear driver's side tire) in conjunction with the sound of the actuator trying to latch the door.

The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed but not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not under recall. The failure mileage was approximately 109,000.

The passenger sliding door will not latch and just clicks over and over again. After reading to try to solve the problem I found hundreds of people with the same problem.

Oil leak from defective adapter/housing. Oil continuously leaks even shortly after being repaired due to bad product design on the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine. Poses a significant safety hazard and could lead to fire at any point due to all the old oil that has leaked all over the engine bottom. The driver head rest deployed while I was driving. It hit the back of my head very hard, causing my neck to hurt and I had a headache for 2 days. I did not go to the Dr. because it wasn't severe. However, I do have this on video because we have a dash cam in our van at all times. I found out these were defective, called the FCA and they told me I could go to any Chrysler dealer and I could get it replaced under warranty. So this is what I have done, but its on back order. Also, I wanted them to replace the other side since this could happen again, but they said they could not, unless it deployed. That's unacceptable if you ask me....its a safety issue for sure. This will happen again, just don't know when. Is there anything I can do about this? Thank you so much. FCA has been contacted and warranty number [XXX] and case [XXX] was given. Consumer has headache for couple of days, her neck hurt as well as in between her shoulder blades. Dealer was contacted on July 5th and head rest is backordered, dealer will install once it comes in. NHTSA has an open Investigation: PE 20-012. In this investigation, "Complainants allege a fire started at the charge hub mounted in the trim panel located on the driver's side of the vehicle between the second and third row seating." My 2014 Town and Country has an issue where the motor and/or latching mechanism overheats and the door starts to open and close on its own. This event only happens during the extreme heat of the summer (such as 90 degrees and above). The local dealership recommended replacing all of the mechanisms in the door. However, they have no idea why the air temperature impacts the door. Regardless, the door is subject to overheating. These mechanisms are located in the same part of the care where the fire investigation is occurring.

The passenger side sliding door will not latch when the weather is hot, over 80 degrees. Now when I drive the alarm bell of the door being open has started going off. Worried the door will open while driving putting my children im danger.

Charge Hub mounted between trim panel on drivers side between second row and third row seat burned. I parked and smoke started rolling in van. Strong burning smell. Had to call Fire Dept.

The driver side AHS headrest, which is both part of the seat and the airbag system, decided to activate without warning. I know these can be reset but, upon checking out the inside, it is clear that some plastic components have failed, allowing it to activate for no reason. I have researched this and read where Chrysler knows this is a problem but they have not recalled the vehicles, due to this faulty material. I can't afford $1000 headrest because it's faulty.

The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that the third-row passenger’s and driver’s side seat belts were not sitting across the passenger's chest correctly. The seat belts were mounted from the front of the seat rather than mounted from behind the seat. The dealer inspected the third-row seat belts and was unable adjust the seat belts. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 118,861.

Driving in a subdivision at about 20 mi/hr and the passenger headrest AHR deployed for absolutely no reason and without warning hitting the passenger sharply in the back of the head. Looking at the unit it appears that the plastic component holding a retention pin gave out releasing the pin which was still in the grip of metal claws so we know the solenoid didn't accidently activate. The plastic simply broke!! Fortunately it didn't result in injury other then a sore head! There are a lot of reports of this happening with these headrests so it is recurring problem which I'm surprised hasn't been addressed yet. If/when the drivers side does the same thing it could result in an accident causing situation.

I bought my chrysler 2014 town and country a year ago used. The drivers seat headrest deployed a couple days ago. It didn't deploy while driving, I had just noticed it looked different. Split open one day. The plastic inside is broken. There were no messages about anything being activated for the headrest. Only the drivers side deployed. If this would've happened while I was driving it could have caused an accident.

The drivers side passenger electric side door won’t open. The door is permanently locked it normally opens with a electric motor that does it at the push of a button. None of the 4 ways to open the door with the electric motor works. The door also doesn’t open manually from inside or outside the door. The vehicle hasn’t been fixed or looked at it just stopped working. The was a unusual noise about a week before when the door would latch shut as soon as it closed. The door no longer functions as a way out of the van. This is a hazard in case passengers need to get out of the van in a emergency.

When attempting to close the rear sliding doors, they attempt to latch and then fail. If it's hot out the motor will randomly go off and randomly operate. The harness and motors have been replaced and yet it continues.

This 2014 Town & Country stalls while driving, even when driving on the highway. It is extremely dangerous to me, and especially to my wife and children ! The check engine light comes on when it is about to stall. My ASE Certified mechanic read a P0302 trouble code. This means that #2 cylinder has a misfire. The mechanic replaced all spark plugs and coils, but the same missfire remains. The actual problem is a defective cylinder head on the left bank. This was determined by a cylinder leak-down test, which shows that #2 exhaust valve is leaking compression. This defective left (#2,4,6 cylinders) cylinder head is well known by all FCA Dealers. My dealer says that ALL of his mechanics have a great deal of experience doing this defective cylinder head replacement. Tens of thousands of left cylider heads have been replaced under an EXTENDED WARRANTY PROGRAM, issued and approved by FCA, which extends engine warranties on their 3.6 LITER ENGINES to 10 YEARS or 150,000 miles. When I try to get my vehicle's defective cylinder head replaced under the EXTENDED WARRANTY FCA PROGRAM, FCA says that they will only replace the defective cylinder head on 2011, 2012, and 2013 vehicles ! They will not cover my vehicle ! Please help, before this engine defect causes a major accident for my family.

On warm days, the sliding door on driver's side will not latch when it closes. The door constantly tries to latch shut. After the van has been sitting in a garage, out of the direct sunlight, it is able to latch shut again. This opening and closing occurs while the vehicle is in motion and stopped. Furthermore, there is a seat right next to the door. Thus, this is a safety risk because the unlatched door poses a risk of injury or death during a collision or accident. The Chrysler dealers have not able to solve this issue and there are countless instances online of other van owners reporting the same issue. This is well, documented issue that the manufacturer cannot explain or solve. Please recall the van before someone dies.

IN WARM WEATHER MY DRIVERS SIDE POWER DOOR WILL NOT LATCH- THE MOTOR KEEPS CYCLING. ALSO, WHEN I HIT A BUMP THE CAR WILL CHIME, INTERIOR LIGHTS COME ON AND THE OPEN DOOR LIGHT WILL ENGAGE AD IF THE DOOR IS OPEN. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 YEARS AND I CANNOT FIND A SOLUTION. IT IS ONLY AN ISSUE A WARM WEATHER (ABOVE 70 DEGREES). CHRYLSER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE ISSUE. I CONDUCTED AN INTERNET AEARCH AND IT APPEARS THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY OWNER WITH THIS PROBLEM.

WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE TEMPERATURE JUMPED INTO THE RED. WE PULLED OVER IMMEDIATELY AND FOUND OIL AND COOLANT SPRAYED ON THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. FURTHER INSPECTION SHOWED OIL IN THE RADIATOR MIXED WITH THE COOLANT. THE OIL COOLER FAILED AND OIL WAS BEING PUSHED INTO THE COOLANT SYSTEM, WHICH CAUSED THE OVERHEATING. WE WERE JUST GETTING UP TO SPEED WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED. WE HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP TO BE REPAIRED. THE OIL COOLER PART INQUIRY SHOWED 40,000 ON BACK ORDER BECAUSE THE FAILURE OCCURRENCE IS SO HIGH.

VAN SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING AT DIFFERENT TIMES WITH NO PATTERN. NO INSTRUMENT PANEL WARNINGS SHOWN. ALSO WILL STALL AT TIMES WHILE IDLING.

I AM HAVING A CYLINDER 2 MISFIRE WITH 90K MILES ON VEHICLE. VEHICLE IS CLEARLY MISSING AT IDLE WITH HEAVY SHAKING AND STRONG ODOR OF EXHAUST FUMES. I HAVE REPLACED SPARK PLUGS AND NEW IGNITION COILS WITH NO CHANGES. I HAVE ALSO REPLACED THE OIL FILTER HOUSING THAT HAD A SEVERE LEAK BEFORE THIS PROBLEM.

THE ENGINE IN MY CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY MINIVAN, 3,6L ENGINE, DEVELOPED A SERIOUS "MISS" CAUSING POWER LOSS AND VIOLENT VIBRATION WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE. IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED TO BE A MISSFIRE IN CYLINDER #2. BY TESTING, IT IS DETERMINED TO BE A FAULTY DESIGNED LEFT CYLINDER HEAD. CHRYSLER HAS EXTENDED THE WARRANTY FOR THIS PROBLEM ON ALL 2011 TO 2013 VEHICLES WITH THE 3.6L ENGINE, BUT NOT MY 2014 (YET). HELP, PLEASE.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 127,000. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE HAS A DEFECTIVE CYLINDER HEAD AND REQUIRES $2,000 TO $4,000 TO REPLACE.

OIL FILTER HOUSING LEAKING. PART ON BACK ORDER BECAUSE THIS IS SO COMMON. COULD LEAD TO POTENTIAL FIRE AS TO WHY THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD.

THE DRIVER SIDE HEADREST DEPLOYED WITHOUT COLLISION OR BEING INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. IT WAS DEPLOYED ONE DAY WHEN I GOT IN THE CAR. IT IS NOW DETACHED AND CANNOT BE PUT BACK ON. PLASTIC PARTS INSIDE THE HEADREST SEEM TO HAVE BROKEN. IT FEELS UNSAFE TO DRIVE WITH EXPOSED METAL PARTS BEHIND MY HEAD.

THE SLIDING DOOR ON THE DRIVER'S SLIDE DOES NOT FULLY CLOSE. IT LEAVES A GAP AT THE REAR OF THE DOOR. I HAVE TO MANUALLY PUSH THE DOOR TO GET IT TO LATCH. I HAVE STARTED DRIVING NOT REALIZING THE DOOR IS NOT FULLY CLOSED. IN ONLINE FORUMS I HEAR THAT MANY OTHERS ARE EXPERIENCING A SIMILAR ISSUE WITH THIS MAKE/MODEL CAR.

LEAKING OIL SO I TOOK IT IN AND MECHANIC SAYS THE OIL FILTER HOUSING IS CRACKED AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. APPARENTLY IT'S PRETTY COMMON AMONG THESE VEHICLES AND HE'S HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING THE PART TO FIX IT. IT'S ON BACK ORDER.

GOING 65MPH ON MAJOR HIGHWAY WENT OFF ROAD TAKING OUT MULTIPLE BIG CONCRETE IN GROUND SIGNS. THEN WENT ON 2WHEELS SLAMMED BACK DOWN IN A DOWN HILL MEDIAN. NO AIRBAGS WAS DEPLOYED. TOWN & COUNTRY TOTAL LOSS. ENTIRE FRONT END DAMAGED AND BACK PASSENGER AXEL & WINDSHIELD HUGE CINDER BLOCK TYPE HOLES WITH SHARDS OF GLASS EVERYWHERE EVEN IN OUR EARS! NO AIR BAG DEPLOYED OR ATTEMPTED. I HAD ALMOST HALF TANK GAS NOW EMPTY LIGHT IS ON.

I NOTICED SOME TYPE OF OIL LEAKING UNDER MY VEHICLE. I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE OIL FILTER HOUSING NEEDED REPLACED. THEY SAID IT WOULD COST AROUND $1,000, BUT THAT THERE WAS NO ETA ON WHEN THEY WOULD HAVE THAT PART IN STOCK. I CALLED A SMALL AUTO MECHANIC SHOP TO SEE IF THEY COULD GIVE ME A COMPETITIVE PRICE, BUT THEY AREN'T ABLE TO FIND THE PART AVAILABLE THROUGH ANY THIRD PARTY VENDORS. MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN SITTING AT THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP FOR OVER 2 WEEKS WAITING FOR THEM TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THE PART WILL BE AVAILABLE. THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE IS $135 AND WILL ONLY GO TOWARDS THE PRICE OF THE REPAIRS IF THOSE HAPPEN WITHIN 30 DAYS, SO TO KEEP FROM WASTING MONEY AND HAVING MAJOR ISSUES ARISE FROM THIS LEAK I HAVEN'T PICKED UP MY VEHICLE AND WE ARE PLAYING LEAP FROG WITH MY HUSBAND'S SMALL CAR.

I BOUGHT A 2014 TOWN AND COUNTRY FROM MORAN BUICK DEALERSHIP IN SEPTEMBER 2020 BY FEBRUARY 2021 I HAD TO REPLACE COMPONENTS IN MY DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW TWICE DUE TO FAILURE AND THE WINDOW FALLING IN MY DOOR. ALSO NOTICED A HUGE OIL SPOT ON DRIVEWAY WENT TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT AND WAS TOILD MY OIL FILTER HOUSING CRACKED AND IT ON BACK ORDER OVER 4 MONTH. LOOKING ONLINE THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE. HOW CAN I FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY FAMILY IN THIS VEHICLE WITH OIL LEAKING OUT CONSTANTLY.

IT TURNS OUT THE OIL IS LEAKING FORM FILTER HOUSING (ALSO INCLUDES ENGINE OIL COOLER). ENGINE NEEDS EXPENSIVE REPAIR TO FIX DUE TO PLASTIC PARTS. PART IS NOT AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE (BACK ORDER). OIL LEAKS IS HEAVY, UNSURE IF IT MAY POSE A FIRE HAZARD.

THE OIL PUMP COOLANT LINE AND HOUSING NEEDS TO BE REPLACED - COSTING ABOUT $1K FOR PARTS AND LABOR. THE VAN ONLY HAS 115K MILES AND HAS BEEN WELL-MAINTAINED. I HEARD FROM BOTH THE AUTO REPAIR SHOP AND THE DEALER THAT THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AMONG MANY OTHER VANS AND THAT THE PARTS ARE ON BACKORDER FOR 2 MONTHS (ABOUT 15K NEEDED). IT'S NOT JUST ME HAVING THIS ISSUE BUT THOUSANDS. A RECALL SHOULD BE IN EFFECT.

THE RADIO HAS STOPPED WORKING. THE SCREEN WILL SOMETIMES COME ON TO ALL WHITE THEN GO OFF AGAIN AND OTHER TIMES THE CHRYSLER SYMBOL WILL SHOW THEN GO OFF AFTER A FEW MINUTE. NO SOUND, NO BACK UP CAMERA, NOTHING . BEEN DOING THIS FOR 3 DAYS.

AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND PULLED TO SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO STEVENSON-HENDRICK TOYOTA JACKSONVILLE (3124 NEW BERN HWY, JACKSONVILLE, NC 28546) WHO DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT A ROD WENT THRU THE ENGINE CAUSING TO FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 144,000.

HAD MY OIL CHANGED AND TUNED UP LAST MONTH ROUGHLY 3 DAYS LATER I NOTICED OIL ON MY DRIVE. BROUGHT IT TO A FRIEND AND SAT FOR 30 MIN AND A PUDDLE OF OIL SHOWED UP IN HIS GARAGE FLOOR. WE CHECKED THE OIL LEVEL AND FOUND OIL ALL OVER THE MOTOR. I TOOK IT BACK TO WHERE I HAD MY WORK DONE AND WAS TOLD THE LEAK WAS COMING FROM UNDER THE OIL FILTER HOUSING ASSEMBLY AND THERE ARE 2000 ON BACK ORDER. WHICH MAKES ME THINK THERE IS A PROBLEM YOUR AWARE OF AND HOW DO I GET IT FIXED.

I NOTICED OIL UNDER MY VEHICLE. I CRAWLED UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED OIL WAS COATING ALL VISIBLE PARTS OF MOTOR. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION THE OIL FILTER HOUSING ASSEMBLY HAS DEVELOPED A CRACK IN IT. THIS IS A PLASTIC PIECE THAT IS AFFIXED TO THE ENGINE (HEAT AND PLASTIC DO NOT MIX). THIS HAS CAUSED OIL TO LEAK ONTO THE MOTOR (AT APPROXIMATELY 1 QUART PER 3000 MILES DRIVEN). THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE A FIRE IN THE ENGINE BAY AT ANY TIME.

ON TWO OCCASIONS DURING THE LAST MONTH THE ENGINE HAD JUST DIED WHILE DRIVING. IT HAPPENS AROUND 30MPH AND DECELERATING. BATTERY WAS WORKING BECAUSE RADIO STAYED ON, BUT LOST ALL OTHER OPERATING FUNCTIONS INCLUDING AUTOMATIC STEERING.

MY VEHICLE HAS A TICKING PROBLEM (LIFTER) FOR OVER 8 MONTHS. I NEED TO GET IT FIXED AND NO ONE WORKS ON THE ENGINE. ONLY THE DEALER. SECONDLY, MY ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON FOR THE THERMOSTAT GAUGE.

AT 50,000 MILES THE TRANSMISSION VALVE WENT OUT - CAUSING THE VAN TO STALL WHILE DRIVING. IT WAS REPLACED. AGAIN AFTER ANOTHER 50,000 MILES THIS TRANSMISSION VALVE IS GOING OUT AND THE VEHICLE IS AGAIN STALLING WHILE DRIVING.

TIRE PRESSURE SENSER READS A FALSE LOW TIRE. TIRES INSPECTED MY MECHANIC AND NONE OF THE TIRES ARE ACTUALLY LOW. TIRE PRESSURE SENSER STAYS ON EVERY ENGINE START AND DOES NOT GO AWAY

I HAVE A TOWN AND COUNTRY 2014. WHILE MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING OUR MINI VAN ON THE HIGHWAY AND I WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THE HEAD REST ON THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT DEPLOYED AND SLAMMED INTO THE BACK OF MY HEAD TWICE FOR NO REASON. WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND IT WAS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR US TO PAY FOR OUT OF POCKET BECAUSE IT WAS NOT COVERED IN OUR WARRANTY. THEN JUST A FEW DAYS AGO WHEN I WAS DRIVING AND COME TO A STOP THE DRIVERS SIDE HAD SLAMMED INTO THE BACK OF MY HEAD AGAIN! WHY WOULD THESE DEPLOY FOR NO REASON WHAT SO EVER. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY RISK. THEY CANNOT BE RESET BECAUSE THE SAME PIECE THAT BROKE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BROKE ON THE DRIVER SIDE. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT ARE THE CHANCE ?? THIS IS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AND THE FAULTY HEAD RESET NEEDS TO BE RECALLED.*DT CONSUMER DID NOT CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER.*JB

ON 1/17/21, THE VAN ENGINE STALLED WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A FREEWAY. THIS CAUSED LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. I COASTED TO STOP ON SIDE OF ROAD, WAITED A BIT, AND RESTARTED THE VAN. IT DROVE FOR AOUT 3 MILES WHEN THE SAME THING HAPPENED. PROBLEM APPEARS INTERMITTENT SINCE IT HASN'T HAPPENED WHEN I BRIELFY DROVE THE CAR ON 1/18 AND 1/19. DEALER IS SAYING THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH CAR (TOOK CAR IN TO DEALER ON 1/20)

WE HAD TO REPLACE THE OIL FILTER ADAPTER IN OUR VAN BECAUSE IT WAS LEAKING. OUR MECHANIC SAID HE IS FIXING A LOT OF THESE IN VANS SIMILAR TO OURS. WHEN RESEARCHING ONLINE, WE SEE THAT LARGE NUMBERS OF PEOPLE WITH 2014 CHRYSLER VANS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. SOME EVEN REPORTED THEIR VEHICLES CATCHING FIRE AS A RESULT OF THE ISSUE. IT COST OVER $600 FOR US TO HAVE IT REPAIRED.

DRIVER SEAT ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT DEPLOYED WHEN NOT IN A COLLISION. THE CAR WAS OFF AND WE WERE LOADING KIDS IN THE CAR. CAN'T GET IT TO GO BACK TOGETHER.

WHILE PARKING MY VEHICLE IN MY DRIVEWAY AND AFTER COMING TO A STOP, MY DRIVER SIDE HEADREST (ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINT) DEPLOYED, STRIKING ME IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD. I WAS NOT INJURED. THERE WAS NO ASSOCIATED VEHICLE NOR DID THE VEHICLE STRIKE AN OBJECT. UPON FURTHER EXAMINATION, A PLASTIC SEATING THAT HOLDS THE METAL PIN HAD BROKEN. ATTEMPTS TO RESET WAS UNSUCCESSFUL BECAUSE OF THE BROKEN PLASTIC PIN SEATING. THE ATTACHED PHOTO SHOWS A STRAP AROUND THE HEADREST SO THAT THE VEHICLE CAN BE DRIVEN SAFELY.

VEHICLE HAD LEAKING PLASTIC OIL FILTER HOUSING AT 110K MILES. AFTER REVIEW ONLINE, NOTICED THIS IS A VERY COMMON DESIGN ISSUE ALL OVER THE 3.6 PENTASTAR V6. THEN AT 127K, I HAVE NOW BEEN INFORMED AFTER ENGINE STARTED TICKING WHILE DRIVING THAT TIMING CHAIN, CAMSHAFT ETC HAVE FAILED AND ENGINE MUST BE REBUILT AND OR REPLACED ENTIRELY. I HAVE OWNED MANY VEHICLES AND NEVER HAD ONE WITH AN ENGINE FAILURE AT THIS LOW MILEAGE. SMALL FIXES, OF COURSE BUT TOTAL CATASTROPHIC ENGINE PART FAILURE AT 127K? CHRYSLER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THIS POORLY DESIGNED ENGINE. THEY KNOW THIS ENGINE HAS PROBLEMS AS THEY EXTENDED ENGINE WARRANTIES FOR 2011-2013 MODELS BUT I FEEL LIKE THEY LEAVE THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH NEWER ENGINES HIGH AND DRY. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FCA PRODUCT AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE, AND I AM A YOUNG FATHER WITH MANY MORE VEHICLES LEFT TO BUY IN MY LIFE - THIS WAS MY FIRST FCA VEHICLE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IN THE DRIVEWAY OF HIS RESIDENTS THERE WERE DROPS OF OIL IN THE DRIVEWAY. NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND DETERMINED THAT THE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE OIL WAS REPLACED IN THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. NO DEALER WAS CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 60,000.
