The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while driving at various speeds, the vehicle jerked and failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. The check engine warning light and several other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found. The contact stated that the sensor kit and fuel level sensor were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a different dealer, ValMark Chevrolet in New Braunfels, TX, where it was diagnosed that the engine control module, gateway module, service brake light and steep sensor had failed. The shaft sensor, gasket, and passenger’s side rear axle were replaced. The dealer test-drove the vehicle and informed the contact that the codes were cleared.
