My son purchased a brand new 2023 Yamaha TW200 from Ridenow Powersports on Rancho in Las Vegas. On his ride home he discovered numerous safety discrepancies with the motorcycle which could have ended with catistrophic results. First he noticed the gears were not properly engaging during shifts but found that pushing clutch lever forward after shifting corrected problem. The left side rearview mirror also fell down from upright mounting position. A motorist who was following him let him know that everytime he made a turn his rear indicator light was flashing in the opposite direction. Upon return to his residence he noticed that right front daytime running light (incorporated in front indicator lamps) was inoperative. He also confirmed that when he switched indicator to left, the right rear would flash and vise versa. He contacted dealer to report findings and they said they would call back in a few minutes to schedule a date to repair ... they never called back. We decided to truck his motorcycle back to my house so I can figure out what is wrong instead of dealing with Ridenow on Rancho maintenance that have extremely low ratings and obviously don't know what they're doing. Reading this record

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.

Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.

Most recent recall on file: none. Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation.
