2023 Thor Motor Coach Quantum

Defect. Thor Motor Company (TMC) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Axis, Chateau, Four Winds, 2023-2025 Coleman, Echelon, Freedom Elite, Geneva, Outlaw, Quantum, Vegas, 2025 Eddie Bauer, Freedom Traveler, Pasadena, and 2024-2025 Magnitude motorhomes. The slide-Out room can be deployed without the parking brake engaged, allowing the room to extend while the vehicle is in motion.

Risk. A slide-Out room that extends unexpectedly increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the park brake harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000325.

Defect. Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Four Winds, Quantum, Chateau, and 2022 Geneva motorhomes. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

Risk. An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealer will repair or replace the awnings, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by September 16, 2022. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867.

I bought this RV as a new 2023 Thor Quantum MB24 . After a recall performed by Mercedez of Pleasanton , California ( after the VIN no. was punched on their computer ) , it shows as a 2021 Model year . How would I know if I was sold a pre - owned Motor Vehicle or a new one ? It has 2000+ miles in accordance to RECVAN @ Fremont , California , was acquired driven from Elkhart , Indiana to California . There were few issues and problems that I found out later after I had the RV parked outside my resident in Mountain House , California : Dirty outside compartment , Inoperable Navigation system , left outside wheel hub cap held by a single screw , all 4 rear wheel air valves not working properly , dream dinette can not turn to bed due to improper fit , some outside compartment latches loose , shower curtain had tiny slits , missing toilet bolt cover . Most of this issues was taken care of as part of the warranty . My concern is why is it a 2021 year model and not 2023 as per VIN NUMBER ? I s it Pre- Owned ?
