Keystone RV Company: Trailer Hitches › Fifth Wheel Assembly
Keystone RV Company reported this defect to federal regulators on Aug 14, 2019 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 9. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2020 Crossroads Cruiser 29SI, 27MK, 28RD, 24RL, and 29RK fifth-wheel trailers equipped with Morryde Rotating Pin Boxes. These pin boxes may be attached with bolts that are too short.
The risk
In certain conditions, the incorrect bolts could allow the pin box to rotate in two places rather than one, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the bolts, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on October 2, 2019. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 19-358.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 19V596000.
