Temsa Global Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S.: Suspension › Front › Control Arm
Temsa Global Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. reported this defect to federal regulators on Feb 24, 2016 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 70. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Temsa Global Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. (Temsa) is recalling certain model year 2016 TS35C buses manufactured September 1, 2015, to January 31, 2016, and 2016 TS 45 buses manufactured September 1, 2015, to December 31, 2015. In the affected buses, the front lower control arm housings may crack, allowing the components to separate.
The risk
If the control arm cracks and the components separate, a loss of steering would occur, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
The remedy
Temsa will notify owners, and dealers will replace the lower control arms of the front axles, free of charge. The recall began on April 13, 2016. Owners may contact Temsa representative CH Bus Sales at 1-407-271-8935.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 16V106000.
