A certified dealership service center improperly installed a mismatched tire configuration on a high-performance sports car (Nissan Z), creating an extreme handling hazard and vehicle instability. The service center replaced the rear tires with all-season Hankook tires while leaving the original summer performance tires on the front axle. This mix of entirely different tire categories has caused a severe traction imbalance between the front and rear axles. Upon acceleration, the vehicle experiences dangerous rear-end swaying, fishtailing, and an immediate loss of steering wheel control. The dealership’s shop foreman test-drove the vehicle and formally verified the handling instability and swaying defect. However, management has failed to correct the safety violation. The vehicle is currently deemed structurally unroadworthy and unsafe to operate on public roads due to this improper component

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.
Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
