2016 Nissan Rogue complaints

I bought my Rouge used on 7/6/21, and it started acting up on 8/15/21. A whole 9 days after my 30 day limited warranty ran out. It feel like the transmission is slipping. It jerks, bogs down, doesn't accelerate when you step on the gas, is hesitant to back up or drive, will stall while driving, and completely loses power while driving. I was driving to work today and it lost power while i was on the highway, had i not been able to pull off I could've have been killed. It was driving fine at 65 mph and then just started to lose power and not want to go. I pulled off the highway and shut it off and then after a few minutes restarted the car, it still hesitated to go and was jerking and bogging down but didn't lose power again. I am afraid to drive this or have my kids in the car but I don't have a choice as I am still paying on this car. The check engine light did not come on until after these things occurred. It was driving fine prior to 8/15/21 and nothing occurred that should've caused this problem.

Engine unexpectedly stalls/stops under power. Along with power steering and brakes. Engine sensors were replaced by dealership. Condition persists and confirmed by dealership. Dealership maintains this is an engine wiring harness issue that shorts out under certain conditions. While engine was operating, dealership was able to cause engine to stop. Cautioned me to get wiring harness replaced, as it could present a safety issue or accident. Check engine lie went on as did the traction control light in each case after they were reset. I am taking vehicle to another service center to evaluate. Estimate was $3,402 to replace engine harness, plus it was $750 to replace sensors, Vehicle has 55,000 miles on it.

Reviving RPMS, car is shudder decreasing and increasing speed dangerous to drive

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and diagnosed that the continuously variable transmission (CVT) was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 63,400.

My 2016 Nissan Rogue has about 58426 miles on it. At first I noticed that it was very slowly reaching the desired speed, when press on gas pedal. I was thinking it just because the ECO mode is On. Then I turn it OFF but it still slowly reaches desired speed. On July 9, 2021 about 4 months after noticing the problems with acceleration, I was driving and car just starts making jerking, stalling movements while driving and the RPM's was jumping up and down especially when you start driving and reaching the speed limit of about 45mph. I took it for another test drive and it was jerking, shaking and stalling a lot and making very loud noise. Feel like the car will stop suddenly at the middle of the road causing hazard for other drivers and involve in the accident. Check Engine light came ON. Very slowly came home and then ask independent mechanic to check the car. The Code reads P0841 and P0776. Tried to erase the codes but check engine light was still on. Changing the transmission oil, filter and gasket didn't resolve the problem, the Check Engine light is OFF though, for now , but the car still jerks. Slowly pressing the gas pedal and the RPM"s jumps to 3 then back to normal and car stalls and jerks. You can hear that it starts from the front bottom of the car and goes back through the whole car. The sunroof leaks everytime it rains. No damage had been done and no accidents. Nissan dealership says it is not leaking, but there are water stains and I have watched rain pour in while it is raining. The drains have been cleaned out twice by a Nissan dealership, but that does not fix the problem.

When I got into a car crash and I hit the deer really hard the airbags on the car did not deploy which where the deer almost smacked right into my window and went inside the car but damage and vehicle was not drivable at all need to tow it shop front car damaged to wheel at

While attempting to accelerate from a stop, the vehicle hesitated to respond. Several seconds later the vehicle started performing as intended. Turning the car off when it doesn't accelerate from a stop and then turning it back on, fixes the problem for the moment. No warning lights came on. It happens more after being in stop and go traffic and it happens very sporadically

While driving on the highway going 55mph out of no where. No warning sign or anything the forward collision warning and then the malfunction comes across the display. And the SUV just comes to a about 2 mph . Leaving me to pull over immediately to safety. This is not safety me or the drivers on the road. This has happened several times.

My rear lift gate does not stay in the up position when I open it. It comes crashing down on my head and it’s hit me in the head several times as the lift gate comes down so quickly and abruptly. It’s hit others as well and has hurt them. When the full weight of the lift gate comes down it’s heavy and it hurts. It’s not safe to open anymore. There was a recall issued by the NHTSA placed on the 2016 Rogue for the rear lift gate not staying open due to corrosive parts. Unfortunately my rogue was not included in the recall. My car was purchased in July and the recall was up to January 2016. I called Nissan and because I am out of warranty they will not evaluate at their cost or fix it if it’s the same issue as the recall. I have not had it evaluated as I wanted to reach out to the NHTSA first. There were no warning lights to alert me to this issue. One day it just happened coming down hard and striking me in the head. I was really hurt. I had a headache for the entire day and small bump on the back of my head. It was not serious enough to see a doctor but doesn’t change the fact that I got hurt I am very nervous that the next time I open it it won’t stop about halfway and the full weight of the lift gate will come crashing down on me or someone else and cause serious injury. Please consider adding my VIN number to the recall. It should included so that it can be evaluated at Nissan’s expense and fixed.

Passenger air bag light goes on and off whether there is an adult in the seat or not. There are a few recalls for this issue but my VIN does not come up as an affected vehicle. There are several complaints of the same nature on the nhtsa website and I feel Nissan needs to look into this issue.

In April 2021 I purchased a 2016 Nissan Rogue. A few times I noticed that I did not have my seatbelt on while driving which for me, is highly unusual because it is the first thing I do once I start my engine. It is the AUDIBLE chime that alerts me. I then specifically started my engine and realized that the car DID NOT have a safety belt CHIME. ( FMVSS 208 S7.3 ) I took it to a Nissan dealer. The technician told me that Nissan DID NOT put a safety belt audible chime in ANY of their vehicles before 2020. I could not believe what I was hearing. Not only is this feature federal law but, it is also in the Nissan owners manual. It is not a feature that can be turned on or off. It is a federal requirement. Nissan is violating federal law and has been doing so for years at the expense of the American people. I am worried for my safety and the safety of others since it is difficult to DISCOVER that there is no audible seat belt safety chime and that it is a safety issue that might prevent one from putting on their seatbelt so that they don’t go flying through the front windshield. Federal law states: “manufacturers have an OPTION. They can EITHER use a seatbelt symbol AND an audible chime OR The words “ Seat Belt” AND An audible chime”. The audible chime is not an OPTION it is a requirement. The chime is NOT a feature that can be turned on or off in any Nissan vehicle including my 2016 Nissan Rogue. The consumer needs to know about this missing safety feature as per Federal law. I wo

The passenger airbag sensor is faulty, it randomly turns on and off indiscriminately when an adult is in the seat. I have already reached out to Nissan because there is a similar recall but my VIN isn’t covered in it. Nissan was unwilling to help and even when I took it to the Nissan dealer they refused to change out the sensor. This is life threatening if the car gets in an accident and an adult is in the passenger seat, but the airbag does not deploy.

My vehicle failed to accelerate while stopped at a left turn with oncoming traffic. This happened a few times. And the most recent incident, my vehicle failed to shift, forcing me to drive my vehicle in the wrong gear for 10 miles at 4,000 rpm's. I brought the vehicle to the dealer for inspection but they couldn't reproduce the malfunction at that time. I'm currently driving my vehicle under significant safety risk.

At. 26000 miles, my Rogue was powering down taking off from a traffic light. Pressing on the gas was of no use. Since I lived in a small town, I was able to coast, to the side of the road, but still in the road. I thought a new mat had probably slid under the gas pedaI so I removed the mat. I did notice a few hesitations without the mat but not enough to worry me. Then, I was on a four-lane highway, At a red light. The light changed, I pressed on the gas, the car moved forward. I lost complete acceleration again no matter how much I pressed the gas pedal. I had enough momentum to just get in between the right turn lane and traffic going straight from the other direction . The motor never died. After a few seconds, the car drove like nothing had ever happened. My first visit to the dealership. They were baffled. No problem until 10 months later at 37,000 miles. This time a mechanic decided the idle was low and “relearned” it. I felt confident. Then I moved to a large metropolitan city. I enter a major road each time I leave my house.Twenty-two months later, and at 57,000 miles, it once again lost power in the LEFT-HAND lane of a 2 lane turn. I considered myself lucky one more time. I was able to COAST between cars in the right turn lane, across two more lanes and into a store parking lot. A few seconds of sitting still and off again. A/C DOES NOT WORK. THERE IS A ROARING SOUND WHEN THE FAN IS ON "HIGH" BUT LITTLE TO NO AIR IS BLOWING. WHAT LITTLE AIR COMES OUT IS HOT. THE TEMPERATURE IS SET TO 60 DEGREES AND STILL HOT AIR BLOWS. THIS IS MY SECOND SUMMER TO BE WITHOUT ANY AIR CONDITIONER. YOU MAY ACCIDENTALLY GET A FEW MINTUES OF COLD AIR FIRST THING IN THE MORNING BEFORE THE ENGINE GETS HOT AND THEN IT'S GONE. IN THE AFTERNOON YOU DO NOT GET ANY COLD AIR. I SEE MULTIPLE SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON MANY WEBSITES. WHEN IS THE NHTSA GOING TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST NISSAN?

EVERY OTHER TIME WHEN I START MY NISSAN IN THE MORNING, THE RED LIGHT FOR THE AIRBAG ON THE DASHBOARD COMES ON. IF I SHUT THE VEHICLE DOWN AND RE-START IT AGAIN AND THE LIGHT GOES AWAY. IF I LET THE LIGHT STAY ON WITHOUT RESTARTING THE VEHICLE AND DRIVE IT, THE LIGHT NEVER GOES AWAY TILL I SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE.

I WAS JUST STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT. WHILE SITTING STILL WAITING FOR THE LIGHT, MY CAR BEGAN TO BUCK. AND THEN THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. MY CAR ONLY HAS 68,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE IT SERVICED REGULARLY. I TOOK IT DIRECTLY TO MY MECHANIC AND HE THINKS IT'S SOME KIND OF SENSOR PROBLEM. HE RESET THE SENSORS AND TOLD ME IF IT CAME BACK AGAIN TO COME BACK. TODAY I STARTED MY CAR TO DRIVE TO THE GROCERY AND AGAIN I COME TO THE. THE CORNER AND THE BUCKING STARTS. I WANT RIDE HOME. I WILL BE TAKING MY CAR TO THE MECHANIC TOMORROW. ALSO I JUST WANT TO SAY YOUR SITE SAYS MY CAR HAS FIVE RECALLS. AND IT SAYS THAT NONE OF THE RECALLS IS NEEDED AT THIS TIME. I'VE NEVER GOTTEN A RECALL NOTICE FROM NISSAN FOR MY VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WANTED A SECOND OPINION AND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS ALSO DIAGNOSED WITH NOTHING NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THEY COULD NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 25,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

DRIVER SEAT MOVES WHEN BRAKING.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.

THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SEATBELT HAS BECOME FULLY RETRACTED AND IS CURRENTLY IN A LOCKED POSITION WHERE IT WILL NOT PULL OUT AT ALL. THERE HAS BEEN NO ACCIDENT AND NOTHING HAPPENED AT ALL INVOLVING THE AIRBAG ON THAT SIDE, THIS SITUATION HAS TAKEN PLACE ALL ON ITS OWN AND IS NOW PREVENTING ME FROM CARRYING ANY PASSENGERS IN THE FRONT SEAT DUE TO THE MALFUNCTIONING OF THAT PARTICULAR SEAT BELT. THIS ISSUE OCCURRED WHILE MY CAR WAS PARKED IN MY OWN PARKING SPACE WITH THE ENGINE TURNED OFF.

AFTER DRIVING CAR HEATS UP AND THE CAR TAKES OFF DANGEROUSLY SLOW. I'VE BEEN HIT ALMOST 6+ TIMES DO TO THAT.

I HAVE BEEN PULLED OVER TWICE NOW BECAUSE OF PASSENGER HEADLIGHT OUT, AND ALSO THE LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS OUT. WHEN I WENT TO REPLACE BULBS BOTH LIGHTS WERE IN WORKING ORDER. THE HEADLIGHT WAS WORKING WHEN I FIRST STARTED DRIVING. IT QUIT WHILE IN MOTION. THE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT QUIT WORKING ON A DIFFERENT OCCASION AND I AM NOT 100% SURE IF IT WORKED WHEN I FIRST STARTED TO DRIVE. I WAS PULLED OVER AND GIVEN A TICKET. THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO NEAREST AUTO PARTS STORE AND PURCHASED NEW BULBS. WHEN I WENT TO REPLACE BOTH BULBS THEY WERE BOTH WORKING. I OBVIOUSLY AM UNABLE TO SAY IF THEY BOTH QUIT WHILE DRIVING, HOWEVER I NOW CHECK ALL LIGHTS BEFORE DRIVING ANYWHERE.

MY VEHICLE BEGAN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION RIGHT BEFORE THE 60,000 WARRANTY WAS UP. I WAS NOT ABOUT TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE DEALERSHIP UNTIL MONDAY MARCH 22, 2021 AT THIS TIME THE MILEAGE WAS 60,063. THE ISSUES BEGAN WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE, I NOTICED THE CAR WAS DECELERATING AND WHEN I PRESSED ON THE GAS THERE WAS A SCREECHING SOUNDS SO I PULLED OVER. I WAS ABLE TO MOVE TO THE CAR EVENTUALLY BUT IT WOULD JERK WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND THE SCREECHING NOISE RETURN AT 3000 RPM. I BROUGHT IT INTO A AUTO SHOP WHO RECOMMENDED BRING IT TO A DEALERSHIP. THAT IS WHERE IS WAS DIAGNOSED WITH TRANSMISSION ISSUES AND RECOMMENDED FOR A REPLACEMENT. THAT BRINGS ME BACK TO THE MILEAGE ISSUE, IF I WAS ABLE TO GET IT IN A DAY SOONER THE TRANSMISSION WOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY COVERED. NISSAN'S GOODWILL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM WILL COVER HALF, BUT THE CVT HAS BEEN A SOURCE OF SEVERAL LAWSUIT. NISSAN ISSUES AND EXTENSION ON THE WARRANTY. I HAVE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND $2,200 IS A LOT OF MONEY FOR AN ISSUE A DESIGN ISSUE, ESPECIALLY WHEN NISSAN EXTENDED THE WARRANTY FOR SOME NISSAN ROGUE THAT ARE THE SAME YEAR. WHY NOT FOR ALL WITH SIMILAR ISSUES. I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A PREDATORY PRACTICE AND AS A YOUNG WOMAN WHO DOES NOT KNOW MUCH I FEEL TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF RIGHT NOW. I DO LOVE MY CAR AND WOULD HAVE LIKED TO REMAIN WITH NISSAN BUT WITH THE PANDEMIC AND JOB SECURITY BEING CRITICAL ELEMENTS OF Y SURVIVAL I AM NO LONGER CONFIDENT IN MY VEHICLE ABILITY TO BE RELIABL

THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO PRODUCE LOUD GRINDING NOISES WHEN DECELERATING IN AUGUST OF 2020. IT WAS DIAGNOSED AT THE NISSAN SERVICE CENTER WITH A DEFECTIVE TRANSFER CASE. IT IS NOW SEVEN MONTHS LATER, MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SERVICE CENTER FOUR TIMES (IN ONE INSTANCE, IT WAS IN THE SERVICE CENTER FOR 30 DAYS) AND IT IS NOT FIXED, AND IT WAS WORSE THAN BEFORE. IT CONSTANTLY SHUDDERS AND IS INCREDIBLY LOUD NOW WHEN ACCELERATING AND DECELERATING. DESPITE BEING UNDER THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY IT IS STILL NOT REPAIRED. NISSAN CONTINUOUSLY KEEPS PLACING NEW TRANSFER CASES IN MY CAR WITHOUT INVESTIGATING THE CAUSE FOR THE FAILURE. THIS IS OUR FAMILY VEHICLE WE USE TO TRANSPORT MY INFANT DAUGHTER AND I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE HER IN THIS CAR DUE TO THE CHANCE THAT THE TRANSMISSION MAY FAIL ENTIRELY.

NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND TRANSMISSION WENT! CAR STOPPED DRIVING COMING OFF THE HIGHWAY RAMP. LOW MILEAGE FREQUENT TUNE UPS AND HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MULTIPLE FACILITIES THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING TO MY CAR WHICH IS ONLY A 2016 I HAVE HAD IT FOR 3 YEARS, ONLY 116K MILES. CAR JUST STOPPED DRIVING MID EXIT.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED FALMOUTH MOTOR CAR (45 MA-28A, CATAUMET, MA 02534) AND WAS PROVIDED AN ESTIMATE TO REBUILD THE TRANSMISSION. THE CONTACT DECLINED AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 116,000.

FIRST THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND THE SLIP INDICATOR (OR TRACTION CONTROL) LIGHT FOR THE VEHICLE DYNAMIC CONTROL WOULD COME ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING BOTH ON THE HIGHWAY AND OTHER ROADS. THEN ONE DAY, I WENT TO START MY CAR AND ALL OF THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS BEGAN FLASHING AND IT WOULDN'T START. WE BOUGHT JUMPER CABLES AND JUMPED IT BUT IT STILL WOULDN'T START THE NEXT DAY. SO I BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY AND IT WORKED FOR ABOUT A WEEK. THEN WHILE DRIVING TO WORK, THE SLIP INDICATOR (TRACTION CONTROL) LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND IT WOULDN'T GO ABOVE 20 MPH AND I HAD TO FLOOR THE GAS TO EVEN GET IT TO GO TO THAT SPEED. THE VEHICLE WAS JERKING SO BAD, I HAD TO PULL OVER. I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO MY MECHANIC AND IT TURNS OUT IT NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION WITH UNDER 100,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE AND ONLY 4 YEARS OLD WHEN IT HAPPENED! THIS CAR HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF WITH REGULAR SERVICING.

I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE IN 2016 BRAND NEW. NOT EVEN A YEAR INTO OWNING THE VEHICLE, AT 12,497 MILES ON 5/1/2017, MY AC STOPPED WORKING AND NOTHING WAS BLOWING OUT OF THE VENTS. THE PART THAT WAS REPAIRED/REPLACED ON MY INVOICE STATES, "RPL THERMISTOR/THERMO CONTROL AMPLIFIER. THE AC STOPPED WORKING A SECOND TIME AT 14,976 MILES ON 8/14/2017. THIS TIME, THE PART THAT WAS REPAIRED/REPLACED ON THE INVOICE STATES, "RPL FAN & MOTOR". MY AC STOPPED WORKING A THIRD TIME AT 54,644 MILES ON 6/10/2020. THE PART THAT WAS REPAIRED/REPLACED ON THE INVOICE STATES, "RPL BLOWER RESISTOR/CONTROL AMPLIFIER." THIS TIME, I FINALLY REPORTED IT TO NISSAN AND THEY GAVE ME A "GOODWILL ADJUST" WHERE THEY OFFERED TO PAY 70% OF THE REPAIRS DUE TO BEING OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY. YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE THIS, BUT IT HAPPENED A FOURTH TIME AT 60,509 MILES ON 1/5/2021, BUT THIS TIME IT WAS DURING THE WINTER AND THE HEAT WOULD NOT COME OUT OF THE BLOWERS. THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP THAT TRIED TO DIAGNOSE MY VEHICLE ($140 DIAGNOSIS FEE) SAID THAT THEY WOULD NEED TO TAKE APART THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD (WHICH WOULD BE 1-2 HOURS OF LABOR AT $140/HOUR) BECAUSE THEY "TRACED AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE WITHIN THE DASHBOARD HARNESS, WOULD NEED FURTHER DIAG IN ORDER TO CONFIRM REPAIR NEEDED". BASICALLY, THE SERVICE ADVISOR WHO CALLED ME FROM THE DEALERSHIP SAID THAT THEY ALREADY NEED TO REPLACE THE PART THAT WAS JUST INSTALLED 6/10/2020 (NOT EVEN 6 MONTHS AGO) BECAUSE IT IS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE, THEY WOULD MOST LIKELY NEED TO REPLAC

CLOGGED SUNROOF DRAINS HAVE CAUSE THE CABIN OF THE CAR TO GET A LOT OF WATER. CONDENSATION/WATER BUILDUP ON THE INTERIOR OF WINDSHIELD IS CONSTANTLY OCCURRING CAUSING MY ABILITY TO SEE OUT THE WINDSHIELD TO BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. LITTLE ELECTRICAL ISSUES HAVE BEEN HAPPENING, SUCH AS TURN SIGNAL BULBS GOING OUT. THE VEHICLE NOW HAS A VERY MOLDY/MILDEW SMELL THAT'S PROBABLY KILLING MY LUNGS.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2016 NISSAN ROGUE S FWD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL SUDDENLY LOCKED WHILE DRIVING WITH THE CURVE OF THE ROAD. ONCE THIS OCCURRED, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE CAUSING THEM TO END UP IN FRONT COLLISION WITH AN EIGHTEEN WHEELER. THE AIR BAGS DID DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND DEEMED TOTALED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED INJURIES ON THE ENTIRE RIGHT SIDE OF THEIR BODY AND MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NEEDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A CERTIFIED MECHANIC STATED THAT IT SEEMED AS IF THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING HAD FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000. *DT*JB

WHEN IN GEAR (DRIVE, REVERSE, LOW) THE CAR WILL VIBRATE CONSTANTLY AS WELL AS AT A STOP NOT JUST WHILE DRIVING. THE SEATS ARE CONSTANTLY MOVING (VIBRATING, CREAKING WHILE TURNING) WHEN SPEEDING UP IT HESITATES TO SHIFT OR SHIFTS ROUGH.

I HAVE HAD MY NISSAN FOR A YEAR AND LOVE IT. HOWEVER WHENEVER I SLOW DOWN TO STOP, OR TAKE OFF, I HAVE NOTICED MY DRIVER SEAT WILL GLIDE FORWARD AND SOMETIMES CLICK OR CLUNK, I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST BECAUSE I AM A MORE HEAVIER GUY. I STARTED READING MANY PEOPLE WITH THE SAME YEAR AND MAKE NISSIAN WERE HAVING SIMILAR ISSUES. IT HAS BEEN HAPPING ON AND OFF SINCE ABOUT MARCH 2020 WHEN I STARTED TO REALLY REALIZE IT.

THE TRANSMISSION ON THIS CAR BEGAN SLIPPING AND REFUSED TO GO INTO GEAR. IT CLUNKED AND BUCKED ALONG AT LOW SPEEDS. ONCE IN DRIVE IT WAS FINE, BUT WOULD NOT GO INTO ANOTHER GEAR. WE WERE ABLE TO GET IT HOME AND THERE IS HAS SAT UNTIL 12/28/20 WHEN WE WERE ABLE TO GET IT TOWED. WHEN WE TRIED TO GET IT INTO GEAR, IT WOULD NOT MOVE FROM PARK TO NEUTRAL EVEN. WE DID NOT GO TO A DEALER AS THEY WERE TWICE AS FAR AS THE MECHANIC WE FOUND. NISSAN REFUSED TO CONSIDER A RECALL OR ISSUE EVEN WITH A SETTLED LAWSUIT ON OTHER CVT TRANSMISSIONS. THEY WOULDN'T EVEN PAY FOR THE TOW AND SIMPLY SAID "SORRY".

DRIVER SIDE AIRCON IS COLD AND PASSENGER SIDE IS HOT EVEN IF BOTH SETTING IS SET TO 90 DEGREES. THE DEALER DID NOT MENTIONED THIS WHEN WE BOUGHT THE CAR. FRONT VENT BLOWING COLD AIR AS WELL WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING COLD CONDITIONS.

WAS DRIVING CAR AND TRANSMISSION DIED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO REPAIR SHOP AND NEEDS A NEW TRANSMISSION. NISSAN ONLY COVERS UP TO 60000 MILES AND I AM OVER THAT SO IF IS COSTING ME $5000 TO REPLACE IT

THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING ON THIS VEHICLE AND ISN'T PART OF THE MODELS THAT WAS RECALLED BUT IS THE SAME YEAR AS THE OTHER RECALLS.

LIFTGATE TO TRUNK TO NISSAN ROGUE WILL NOT LATCH AND FLOWN DOWN TO SHUT NOR WOULD IT LOCK NIR SHUT AND THE BUTTON WILL NOT MAKE GO DOWN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO FOX NISSAN OF GRAND RAPIDS (4430 28TH ST SE, GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49512, (616) 942-8040) BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO THE LOCAL DEALER HOWEVER, NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,000. *BF*JB

2016 NISSAN ROGUE, I HAVE TAKEN IN TWICE FOR THE PASSENGER DOOR WARNING LIGHT BEING ON, THAT THE DOOR IS OPEN , BUT THE DOOR IS CLOSED, THEY SAID THEY FIXED IT, THE FIRST TIME IT DID LAST LONG THEN 2 ,MONTHS AGO I TOOK IT IN AGAIN, THEY SAID THEY FIXED, BUT NOW IT IS BACK IN AGAIN 10/28/ 2020 AND IT IS GOING TO COST ME AGAIN FOR THEM LOOK AT IT, THIS IS WITH THE CAR IN MOTION GOING DOWN THE STREET

ROGUE TURNED OFF WHILE DRIVING ON A MAIN ROAD. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS WERE ON. VEHICLE THEN WOULD SLOWLY SHUTTER AND AFTER A WEEK WOULD SHUTTER EVEN MORE BETWEEN 20-45 MPH. AFTER 60 MPH, THE CAR WOULD STRART TO REV ON ITS OWN WHILE I WAS DRIVING. IT ALSO STARTING HUMMING WITH ACCELERATION AND RATTLE WHEN I WOULD LET GO OF THE GAS PEDAL. SHIFTING INTO REVERSE WOULD TAKE MORE THAN 10 SECS TO SHIFT, AND SAME WITH GOING INTO DRIVE. THE WARMER THE CAR WAS, THE MORE IT SHUTTERED.

I HAVE A 2026 NISSAN ROGUE AND WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE. THOUGHT I GOT BAD GAS BECAUSE I COULD PUSH THE ACCELERATOR AND NOT GO ANY FASTER. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND I HAD IT TESTED. IT IS SHOWING P2004 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL STUCK OPEN BANK 1. I KNOW SOME NISSAN'S HAVE A RECALL ON THIS BUT NOT MY VIN NUMBER. WAS WONDERING IF THIS IS A ISSUE WITH OTHER PEOPLE AND IF WOULD BE A RECALL AT SOME POINT.
