Defect. Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 G5 transit buses built on a GM chassis and equipped with a second air conditioning compressor kit. The drive belt pulley may contact and damage the the oil lines.
Risk. A damaged oil like may leak, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.
Remedy. Dealers will secure the oil lines, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-121-OUC.

Risk. An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit or a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Defect. Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2023, 2025 T-Series and 2022-2026 G5 transit buses. The power cable providing electricity to the air conditioning control board may have a loose connection to the power stud on the board.
Risk. A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Risk. An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Defect. Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 G5 transit buses equipped with a power-assisted service door. The rod-eye rings attaching the front and rear door panels to the opening gear may delaminate, preventing the door from being controlled by the driver.
Risk. The door panel may remain in the open position or open unexpectedly, increasing the risk of passenger being injured falling out of the bus.
Remedy. Dealers will inspect the service door mechanism for signs of rod-eye ring delamination and repair the mechanism as necessary, free of charge. Defect. Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2008-2024 G5, 2008-2015 MBII, and 2015-2023 T-Series transit buses. The rear emergency door exterior handle may unexpectedly break under applied force.
Risk. In the event of an emergency, a broken door handle can prevent or delay emergency responders from entering the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy. Dealers will replace the rear emergency door exterior handle, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2024. Owners may contact Micro Bird customer service at 1-819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 24-109-EUC.
