Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES. THE POWER ASSISTED STEERING PUMP PULLEY CAN FAIL RESULTING IN A LOSS OF STEERING POWER ASSIST. IF VEHICLE OPERATION IS CONTINUED, ENGINE OVERHEATING/DAMAGE COULD RESULT.
Risk. THE LOSS OF STEERING ASSIST COULD INCREASE THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSTALL A POWER STEERING PUMP/PULLEY ASSEMBLY.
