The right side footrest bracket on my 2023 Kawasaki ZX-14R is almost entirely split down the middle where the casting failed. I noticed the break today, 7/31/2025. When I put a small amount of weight on the foot peg the entire part flexes and I believe riding the motorcycle will cause it to snap off entirely. I have never crashed the motorcycle and it only has 3064 miles on the odometer. I fully believe this is a manufacturing defect with the casting that was not found in a quality control check.
