Defect. Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2026 Heartland Bighorn and Jayco North Point fifth wheel travel trailers. The murphy bed mechanism may fail, causing the bed to fall unexpectedly.

Risk. A murphy bed that falls increases the risk of injury or death.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the murphy bed mechanism with a new designed mechanism, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 19, 2025. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901639.
