Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: LOW SPEED UTILITY VEHICLES. THESE VEHICLES DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 500, "LOW SPEED VEHICLES," AND PART 567, "CERTIFICATION." THESE VEHICLES DO NOT HAVE A 17 DIGIT VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER ATTACHED, HAVE INCORRECT WINDSHIELD MATERIAL AND MARKINGS, AND NO CERTIFICATION LABEL.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSTALL VIN LABELS AND AS-1 SAFETY GLASS.
