I was driving through an intersection at about 25 MPH with no car or obstructions in front of me when my Collision Mitigation Braking System inappropriately engaged and brought me to a screeching stop in the middle of the intersection. I am very lucky that no one behind me rear-ended me. My wife was wife me in the passenger seat and confirmed that there were no obstructions in the path of out vehicle. We were traveling straight through the intersection, no turning. My "Brake" light was flashing, the car was beeping and the brake pedal depressed itself firmly until the car stopped. This happened on 2/20/22 and I brought the car to the dealer (North City Honda) on 2/22/22 and they found nothing wrong with the car. When I first purchased this car in 2019, I was on the highway going 70mph with nothing in front of me and the same thing happened with the collision mitigation braking system inappropriately engaging but it lasted only about a second and disengaged. The "brake" light was flashing, the car was beeping and the brake pedal automatically depressed. Again, there was no car or other obstruction in front of me. Both of these episodes have scared the heck out of me, and I'm very lucky nothing bad happened with either.

Twice in the past 6 months, driving down our rural road to our neighborhood the car flashed the BRAKE sign on the dash and applied the brakes. After touching the brake pedal the car returned to its normal speed. The road was clear, with no obstructions, no cars in front or cars coming the other direction. A web search brings up other incidents like this and a class action law suit
Twice now, my Honda CRV has automatically applied the brakes without warning. Once at 55MPH and again at 25MPH, over a 6-month period. Both times, the car slammed on breaks and the engine turned off. I see on-line, others have also reported the problem, but I can't believe Honda has not issued a recall. I am going to my local Honda dealer next week for another recall and will see if anything at the local level can be done.
Multiple system issues with this car, I was told by Honda Sevice manager, “ most people don’t even know what all the features do and don’t know they aren’t workin” WOW!! Most recently (2022)there is a spontaneous window crack, very fine line. Cannot feel crack at all on outside or inside of glass. Not from impact. Crack goes up to black area of windshield about 3.5” long. You can google and see there was a class action lawsuit filed do to Framing defect in CRV that causes windshield to spontaneously crack. (It was settled/ended with the initial plant if settling, without Honda responsibility , so no recall or notice to the rest of us driving this dangerous car) There are several reports of the crack leading to whole windshield shattering. I’m being told to “wait for Honda corporate to decide if they will cover under warranty” Even though the warranty administrator at Lisle Honda looked at it and said it was not from an object. He had to take photos, after marking with pen/ marker to send to corporate for decision. Also, ADAS system malfunctioning, auto emergency braking for no reason, no trafic around, blind spot warning only works sometime, lane departure rarely works, ALL system display as “not functioning” the minute there is even slight fog, rain or snow. Even AWD system no functioning warning. And passenger airbag randomly shows as “airbag off” when an adult is sitting in passenger seat, requiring us to pull over, get out of car, turn car off, lock it, unlock it and get
While driving warning lights on dashboard display the following issues: 1. Collision Mitigation System Problem 2. Road Departure Mitigation Problem 3. Tire Pressure Monitor Problem 4. Brake System Problem 5. Brake System Hold Problem 6. Power Steering System Problem 7. Vehicle Stability Assistant Problem 8. Hill Start Assist Problem and 9. Adaptive Cruise Control Problem. Vehicle taken to dealership for evaluation and assessment. Indicated it was due to corrosion on battery post. Post were cleaned problem reoccurring after vehicle diagnostic test. I'm unsure what will happen to me while driving. Unsure if the car System will fail while in motion. Dealership apparently unable to repair. This issue has been periodically reoccurring since September 26, 2021.
The other day my car logged 35k miles. About 200 miles later multiple waning lights came up on my instrument panel. Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure and Collision Mitigation systems are not working. After looking for help on different forums I found that at around 35K miles this is happening to many people. The "radar" part of the system is most likely the part that needs replacing and just the part is over $400! This safety feature is not only required for modern vehicles, but it is used in vehicle safety ratings and marketing to attract buyers to specific vehicles. This is no small matter in my opinion. What good is a feature that stops working after the warranty runs out.
While driving 55 on a busy highway my car braked on its own. (Like slamming on brakes!!) The brake warning light flashed on the dash. THANK GOD the car behind me was paying attention and swerved into the other lane. Otherwise I would have been rear ended! This is dangerous and unacceptable! This obviously can happen at anytime and could result in an accident with potential injury.
I just started driving and I lost all pick up car went down to 8mph , wouldn’t go any faster.Fortunately I managed to get on a side street and make it to a church parking lot. if I would have been trying to get across traffic, this could have been dangerous let alone just stopping on the road. I called the Dealership and they gave me the number for there towing company (would be 3-5 hrs) called AAA would have been even longer. The police called a tow truck for me. They towed it to the dealership. Result gasoline in oil. Later I learned this is a problem called Oil Dilution with these cars. The dealership changed the oil , filter and spark plugs. All of my warning lights were flashing. They say this happened because of driving short trips. I’ve had cars that I drove the same distance to work and back, never had any problems. The car I had ran great, just wanted to make sure I had a reliable car as I’m getting older(67)
Automatic Emergency Braking will randomly flash BRAKE and start to break, yet there is nothing under or near the car. Unable to reproduce the problem, but it's happened 4-5 times in two years. The BRAKE warning started showing within a few weeks of driving.
Gas was getting into the crankcase, mixing with the oil so that the CRV would not operate. The warning lights did not come on until it was too late. It had to be towed.
My vehicle has 3 malfunction warnings that come up - Adaptive Cruise Control Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem, and Collision Mitigation System Problem along with the brake system light on. I have had the vehicle at the dealer for repairs 4 times, it has happened again a few more times and I am bringing my vehicle back to the dealer again for the fifth time (on 1/18/22). It happens randomly and has been persistent since November 2020. The district rep for Honda (Arizona) is aware of these issues. I have been offered no other solution except to bring the vehicle back in again (for the fifth time).
I’m have problems with all the warning lights coming up on the dashboard. First time it happened I thought it was the brakes. They fixed the brakes. It happened a couple more times I turn it off and on and it was no problem. But one time it came on again but this time the car went slow I took it to the shop they fixed fuel pump and fuel filter set. I thought everything was good until it the warning lights came up again, so I went to get a new battery. New battery is in but a few hours later the warning lights popped up again. Luckily I haven’t been in a accident. But sometimes it’s scary driving the car and the warning lights pop up again. Every time I go to the dealership they said it a good to go.
During driving, all warning lights flashed on the dashboard suddenly. Reverse car caused it to have lost power, stall. Regular maintained with low mileage. Dealer rest something but did not explain what were the exact causes. I am afraid it would happen again to cause dangers.
2019 HONDA CR-V CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO DEFECTIVE FUEL PUMP SAFETY RECALL. THE CONSUMER STATED THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME COMPLETING THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMEN THE PARTS NECESARY TO COMPLETE THE REPAIR WERE ON BACK ORDER.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while it was raining and the vehicle was parked outside, the contact's son noticed that the windows were rolled down, the air conditioning was activated, and the radio and windshield wipers were activated however, the key was not in the ignition. The dealer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to place the key in the ignition. The contact's husband placed the key in the ignition and rolled up the windows. The battery terminals were disconnected to deactivate the windshield wipers, radio, and air conditioning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer however, the dealer could not duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred whenever it rained. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer a second time however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer informed the contact that they needed to witness the failure to assist. The failure mileage was 15,112.
1. My car like many other CRV's I have read about online in forums and other sites is experiencing the fuel injection failure of CRV's since 2017 model. The consumer reports article from 2018 stated the 2019 model was to include a "fix" for this problem but it has not. My car has been in the shop twice in 2 weeks for this issue and now I am facing a $1,788.00 repair at my cost to have all new fuel injectors replaced at 51,400 miles. First sign of problem showed every safety system on the car failing and warnings on every light on the dash. Only after the 2nd trip to the dealer was the fuel injection code thrown on the computer. This problem leads to stalls, cuts offs, sluggishness in traffic which all cause safety issues. 2. The automatic emergency braking system on my car has alerted on multiple occasions when there is nothing in front of me, no obstruction, or any reason to throw the brake warning on the screen. There is one particular place on my daily commute where this happens consistently even though the light is green and there is no traffic flow ahead, beside or oncoming. 3. The lane keep assist program misreads shadows from the electric or telephone lines projected onto the roadway and steers to maneuver around them. It also tends to have difficulty when the road is wet in spots from rain earlier in the day. I keep it off most of the time now because of how it reacts.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact received a recall notice for NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V215000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, since parts were not yet available, the contact waited several months before having the recall serviced at the dealer. After the recall was performed, the contact stated that the vehicle would fail to start up after multiple attempts with an abnormal grinding sound coming from the engine. There was no warning light illuminated. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 23,939.
I was driving about 35 mph on a flat road, sunny day approximately 75 degrees with no vehicles, bikes or people around me and my emergency braking system went off for no reason, throwing the car into a hard brake. My purse and work bag went flying. Thankfully, there weren’t any cars behind me or I definitely would have been rear-ended. It was a terrifying experience and I will be reporting this to my Honda dealership tomorrow. This happened one other time in a road construction detour. The car hard braked when changing lanes per the detour. These “safety” systems are not safe.
On 9/6 I turned left into a parking lot. I was not exceeding 20 mph. I slowed to go over a speed bump, took my foot off the gas to brake and before I actually pressed the brake petal the automatic braking feature activated. There were no cars in front of me or any road hazard. The same thing happened again on 10/9 but this time I was in traffic. After completing a left turn I slowed to go over a construction steel plate in the road. Again no cars in front of me, or any other hazard, but before I got my foot to the brake petal the braking system engaged. Because I was in traffic this time I barely missed being rear ended. I took it to the dealer, DCH Honda in San Diego on 10/12/21. They could not find an issue with the CMBC system and could not duplicate by a road test so they told me to keep driving it until it happens again and to bring it back if it does. Needless to say I don’t feel safe while driving it.
The emergency braking engaged for no apparent reason while I was driving about 35 mph and at least a car length behind car in front of me. The car slammed on the brakes in moving traffic for no apparent reason. Fortunately the car behind me was able to stop but this could have easily caused a rear end collision.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 21V215000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact made several attempts to reach out to the local dealer to schedule the recall repair but was not successful. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
Yesterday I was traveling about 40 mph on two-lane highway coming to the crest of a hill when suddenly the "BRAKE" warning light from the Collision Mitigation Braking System came on followed immediately by the car quickly coming to a stop. The whole warning/stopping event occurred in a few seconds. There were no obstacles in the road, it was a clear, sunny day and (I later determined that) there was no debris or dirt on the grill or in front of the forward camera. There was a car following me about 2 or 3 car lengths behind who had to stop very quickly in order not to rear-end me. Checking my vehicle settings I noted that the "distance" setting for the CMBS was set to normal (not short or long). I have not yet had the issue looked into and will do so ASAP.
My 2019 Honda CR-V just had it's rear glass exploded all of a sudden. It was a 85F degree day and condition seemed normal and nothing out of the ordinary. The rear window left and right sides had a huge fault crack all along the edges. The middle of the windshield popped a hole and then upon lifting the trunk because I was unaware of the glass, the hole increased in size and chunks of glass just rained everywhere. Honda claims an object struck the glass, but that would mean the main damage would concentrate around that area. Judging from the damage to the left and right edges, it would indicate the glass internally failed all together.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V215000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact called the dealer on three separate occasions and was informed each time that a service manager would call him back however, he never received a callback or an appointment. The manufacturer was also notified of the matter and the contact was provided a case number. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact had not experienced a failure. Part distribution disconnect.
I want to report an unsafe situation regarding the rear seat, seat-belt latches on the 2019 Honda CR-V (and from what I can tell on the internet, for several other model years). The rear seat center and left side seat-belt latch receivers have been installed incorrectly. The setup causes the left side latch to be installed over top of the anchor portion of the middle seat latch. This results in the need to twist one or both belts in order to latch the belts. This setup results in a potentially unsafe situation when seating three passengers in the rear seat. Honda advertises the CR-V as a 5 passenger vehicle, not a 4 passenger vehicle! Btw, I used the date I purchased the vehicle as the "incident" date.
While cruise control on, car slams on it's brakes for no reason. So it will go from 55 mph to 15 mph without warning. Clear roads, no other cars on right, left, front, behind me. This has happened many times. I have gone to two dealerships: 1-29-21, 6-27-19, etc. They had it overnight & couldn't find anything. I read online, this has happened to others. I have talked to a service tech. manager who admitted the ACC system doesn't always work. I have 3 typed pages of issues with this CRV. Case #12036468 issued, but no one in customer service will call me back (800)999-1009. After I wrote a letter to their headquarters, they promised to call within 2 days. No one did, even after I sent them an email.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact had received a recall notice for NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V215000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The dealer was contacted and informed her that the parts were unavailable and that parts would be available later that month. The contact called back the same dealer three weeks later and was informed that they were only receiving a limited supply of parts and could not service her vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
I was driving on an unobstructed road with no cars/ obstructions in sight and my automatic emergency braking suddenly engaged then released. Had there been Other vehicles/ traffic an accident may have occurred.
There is a recall for my fuel pump for this car.
Automatic Emergency Braking system activated as I was accelerating away from a stoplight. Turning off of a side road onto a 4 lane thoroughfare. Upon turning onto the main road, I accelerated through an intersection with a green light. As I crossed two steel construction plates, straddled with the vehicle, the AEB system activated and brought the vehicle to a full and complete stop in traffic while I was on the accelerator pedal. Dash announcement flashed "BRAKE" and vehicle came to a stop. I was not following any other vehicles. I was accelerating.
The car was running perfectly fine we were going to load some things into the trunk my wife was backing up and the car began to shake. All the sensors were in error: power steering, brakes system, high beams, tire pressure, tpms, engine light and some other sensor. The emergency brake was activated and we were unable to remove it, the brake light was flashing on the dashboard. The vehicle turned off and wouldn’t turn on. The vehicle had its battery checked and was fine. The vehicle has been taken to a Honda Dealership for diagnostic testing.
The engine lid cover is faulty and fell while driving on an extremely hot day. The clips are plastic and fail easily.
Overview: On July 4, 2020 my SUV rolled backwards on a slight incline when the start button was pressed to turn it off while in drive position causing a broken ankle, multiple abrasions and back pain. Details: I drove my SUV onto a driveway with a slight incline. The SUV did not roll forward because of the incline but after stepping out of the vehicle I realized that I had not turned it off. I turned back around while standing next to the SUV and pressed the button to turn it off not realizing the car was in drive. It immediately started rolling backwards (downhill), knocking me to the ground and dragging me since I was caught under the door. The driver's side wheel either went over my foot or dragged it (not sure which since at that point I was afraid for my life). It broke my ankle and tore away the skin in the ankle area. When it finally stopped, I was able to roll away and cry for help. This incident caused a broken ankle, multiple abrasions on my body and damage to the muscles in my back causing a very painful rib cage. These injuries required immediate and ongoing physician care and physical therapy. I truly believe that there should be a safety feature that does NOT allow us to turn the car off while the vehicle is in drive. It was something that was part of the older key start/stop vehicles. I believe that I read that some of the other manufacturers were dealing with this problem so don't know why Honda hasn't addressed it. Why is it not standard on all the new keyles
The passenger and driver doors do not line up to the body of the vehicle which is causing the paint to chip when the doors are opened and closed. The weather seals on the doors are rolling as a result.
I was driving 20 or 35 mph when the engine stopped unexpectedly. Also the steering wheel was stiffed. It simply shut down.
I was driving in town at a speed of 35 mph when my car suddenly applied the brakes very hard and nearly stopped the vehicle. a warning alarm sounded at the same time. There were no other vehicles or objects within several blocks of my vehicle. I took the vehicle to Honda on Grand in Elmhurst IL where I purchased it new on 7-20-19 and reported the problem. they inspected the vehicle and could not find a problem. i looked online to find many people are having the exact same problem with this model. From what I read it appears to be a software problem with the adaptive cruise control. Honda is not acknowledging any problem at this time. My vehicle has 9480 miles on it and has never been in an accident. This is a serious safety issue and could easily cause an accident!
Driving on the freeway and sunroof glass spontaneously exploded. Was not going under an underpass and there were no other cars around. Moderate temperature outside and I was not running the heater or air conditioning (if that matters). Shade was pulled back, so I was showered with glass from the explosion. It is available for inspection upon request. Glass went everywhere. Luckily my family wasn't in the car with me, including my 4-year-old son. His car seat had a bunch of glass in it which would have hit him had he been with me. I am still waiting for a call back from the dealer. No, it has not been inspected yet. This happened yesterday, which was a Sunday, so nobody was open. I did call my insurance and am waiting to hear back. There was absolutely no warning before the glass exploded.
Fuel Pump module with out of specification impellers. My vehicle had this above specific recall, in which I took my vehicle into the local Honda dealership to get repaired, however, just 2 days after my vehicle had been “repaired” it broke down/stalled and became inoperable while I was driving into a store parking lot. Ironically, earlier that day I called Honda Service department to inform them that my fuel detector continued to say full even though the dash information read only 118 miles left in fuel, they instructed me to bring the vehicle back to their shop so that they could assess the problem. Shortly after the call I made to Honda Service my vehicle broke down and so I had to have my vehicle towed back to the service department, after Waiting for almost 3 hours they informed me that my vehicle had ran out of gas and insinuated that it was my fault, even though my vehicle’s fuel indicator read full tank and was clearly not! Honda service representative continued to inform me that it was a little mistake that the mechanic installed the recalled parts incorrectly and that my vehicle was now fixed correctly. The following day I filled my gas tank full and the fuel indicator in my vehicle NOW read that it was less than 1/2 tank full!!! Once AGAIN the Honda service station FAILED to install the RECALLED parts correctly and when I called them to report my issues they responded to me as if AGAIN it was my fault!!! I’m tired of the inconsistencies and lack of respect and profe
WHEN ON INTERSTATE IN MIDDLE OR LEFT LANE AND PASSING CAR IN LANE TO THE RIGHT, WITH NO CAR AHEAD IN SENSOR DISTANCE, BRAKES CAN SUDDENLY BE APPLIED. I CONTACTED HONDAUSA AND WAS REFERRED TO DEALER, WHICH WAS COGGIN HONDA, ST AUGUSTINE, FL. VEHICLE INSPECTED, SPOKE TO MECHANIC, WHO SAID HE IS HESITANT TO ADJUST FORWARD SENSOR CONE ON VEHICLE. FOR SAFETY REASONS, I NOW TRAVEL ON INTERSTATES USING TRADITIONAL CRUISE CONTROL. I DO NOT WANT TO BE REAR ENDED IF A VEHICLE BEHIND IS TAILGATING AND MY BRAKES ARE SUDDENLY APPLIED. I CANNOT ALWAYS GET OUT OF THE WAY OF A TAILGATER. THE SUDDEN APPLICATION OF BRAKES HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES, NOT ONLY THE DATE LISTED AND ALWAYS ON A LIMITED ACCESS ROAD. I RARELY USE CRUISE CONTROL EXCEPT ON A LIMITED ACCESS ROAD. CONTROL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 HONDA CR-V. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HONDA MARYSVILLE (640 COLEMANS CROSSING BLVD, MARYSVILLE, OH 43040, (937) 645-4080) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE SUSPENSION AND THAT THE TIRES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 21,000.
MY CAR GET RECALL FOR FUEL PUMP ON 3/25/2021, BUT I WENT TO MY DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO WAIT AND NOT PROVIDE MY EXACT DATE TO REPAIR.
STARTING AT ABOUT 7MONTHS VEHICLES BATTERY DIED AND UNABLE TO START LEAVING ME STRANDED. DEALER REPLACED BATTERY. CONDITION RETURNED 2 MORE TIMES OVER THE NEXT YEAR. DEALER DID A SOFTWARE UPDATE SERIVICE BULLENTIN SB19-039. DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. FAILED AGAIN. FEB 2021, DEALER REPLACED BATTERY AGAIN. HONDA FEILD TECHNICAL SPECIALIST SENT SPRFICILY TO DIAGANOSE VEHICLE CLAIMED NO PROBLEMS FOUND. AS OF 4/23/21 CURENTLY IN LEMON LAW SUIT WITH HONDA AMERICA OVER THIS ISSUE.
THIS CAR HAS A RECALL WITHOUT ANY SOLUTION (FUEL PUMP). I WENT TO THE NEAREST HONDA DEALER AND THEY DON'T HAVE ANY ANSWERS FOR THIS PROBLEM THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR US.
ON 4/6/2021 WE WERE TRAVELING ON 580 IN RENO APROX. 60MPH NO CARS IN FRONT OR SIDES OF US BUT ONE TRUCK BEHIND US. NOTHING SUCH AS A SIGN OR BRIDGE OVER US AND NO ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN THAT AREA. THERE WAS A LOUD EXPLOSION SOUND AND GLASS RAINING DOWN ON BOTH SIDES OF OUR CRV. WE FIRST THOUGHT WAS THERE A PLANE FLYING OVER THAT LOST SOMETHING? OUR SUNROOF LITERALLY EXPLODED. GLASS FLEW OUT LIKE AN EXPLOSION HITTING THE TRUCK BEHIND US. IF WE WOULD HAVE HAD THE INTERIOR SUNSHADE OPEN WE WOULD HAVE WRECKED THE CAR DUE TO THE GLASS THAT FLEW ABOUT. WE THEN WENT TO HONDA TO SEE ABOUT IT. THEY SAID SOMETHING MUST HAVE HIT THE GLASS. NOTHING HIT THE GLASS. THE GLASS EXPLODED OUTWARD. THE SUNROOF ON THIS VEHICLE WAS OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE. WE HAVE PLACED A CLAIM WITH OUR INSURANCE AND ARE HAVING IT FIXED. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT I HAVE SINCE SEEN MANY OTHERS HAVE EXPERIENCED BUT THE CAR COMPANIES DO NOT WANT TO ADMIT TO. I'M HOPING THIS VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION WILL BE LOOKED IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW IN 2019. TODAY IS 05APR2021 AND THE CAR HAS BEEN TOWED TWICE DUE TO DEAD BATTERY. BATTERY HAD BEEN REPLACED IN JAN 2021 AND REQUIRED ADDITIONAL SERVICE 3 MONTHS LATER. DAILY DRIVER, 60 MILES A DAY. CAR WAS NOT DRIVEN OVER A 3 DAY WEEKEND AND REQUIRED TOW.
IN CAR MOUNTED SCREEN FOR RADIO ETC RANDOMLY CHANGES WHILE DRIVING. FROM BRIGHTNESS OFF AND ON AND DARKER TO VOLUME CHANGING ON ITS OWN. ONLY WAY TO STOP IT (SOMETIMES) IS TO TURN OFF AND TURN BACK ON THE VEHICLE. BLIND SPOT SENSORS ALSO GO OUT RANDOMLY SOMETIMES BECAUSE OF WEATHER OTHER TIMES (RARELY, BUT STILL HAPPENED) RANDOMLY WHILE DRIVING.
WAS DRIVING APPROX 65 MPH, WITH NO CARS/TRUCKS CLOSE TO ME, AND AS WAS LOOKING TO THE LEFT OF CAR, HEARD A LOUD BANG/POP, WHICH STARTLED ME. SOUNDED LIKE SOMETHING LANDED ON THE FORWARD ROOF, WHICH NOTHING HAD. CAR WAS RUNNING SMOOTH, SO KNEW I WAS NOT HIT OR RAN OVER ANY ROAD DEBRIS. I KNEW THE NOISE CAME FROM THE FORWARD OF THE SUV, SOLOOKED AROUND FRONT OF INTERIOR WHILE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED. THEN I SAW THE WINDSHIELD CRACKS SPARKLING IN THE SUNLIGHT.
WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 65 MILES AN HOUR THE SUN ROOF SUDDENLY EXPLODED. THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC CLOSE ENOUGH TO HAVE TOSSED UP A ROCK. WE IMMEDIATELY STOPPED TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG AND DISCOVERED A LARGE PART OF THE SUNROOF WAS MISSING. A SMALL AMOUNT OF GLASS FELL ONTO THE SUNSHADE WHICH KEPT IT FROM HITTING ME IN THE FACE. THE REST OF THE GLASS SCATTERED IN THE WIND AS I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO A STOP. FORTUNATELY NO MOTORCYCLES WERE BEHIND ME OR SOMEONE WOULD LIKELY HAVE GOTTEN HURT. NO GLASS IN AN AUTOMOBILE SHOULD SHATTER THIS WAY IT IS DANGEROUS BOTH FOR THE OCCUPANTS OF THE VEHICLE AND FOR THOSE FOLLOWING.
2019 HONDA CRV. I HAVE NOTICED THAT MY OIL HAS AN AMOUNT OF GAS OVER 5% TWICE BY ANALYSIS. I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE PROBLEM OF OIL DILUTION THAT HONDA CRV'S (MODEL YEAR 2017 & 2018) HAVE HAD. I FEAR THAT I WILL HAVE PREMATURE ENGINE DAMAGE AND MORE IMPORTANT LOSS OF POWER OR STALLING ON THE HIGHWAY AS THE 1.5 LITER DIRECT INJECTION HONDA CRV ENGINES HAVE EXPERIENCED.
MY CR-V WITHOUT WARNING WILL BRAKE SUDDENLY..VERY DANGEROUS TO ME AND THE VEHICLE BEHIND. HAS HAPPENED ON A STRAIGHT HWY WITHOUT TRAFFIC, AND WHEN I CROSS A SPECIFIC RR CROSSING..I'VE CHECKED WITH THREE DEALERS AND AM TOLD NOTHING CAN BE DONE WITH RESETTING THE RADAR. ONLY HONDA (AMERICA) CAN GIVE THE CODES? IN THE MEANTIME ITS DANGEROUS AND IS GOING TO GET ME OR SOMEONE ELSE KILLED. I PURCHASED AT HONDA OF BOONE, (FRIENDSHIP) AND HAVE INVOICE FOR SERVICE ON 16 JUNE 2020, MILEAGE 6743, AND RECENTLY SERVICE AT CROWN HONDA OF GREENSBORO 02/21/202, (MILEAGE1714) .SERVICE MGR. SAID CALL AMERRICAN HONDA, BUT WOULD NOT GIVE ME ADDRESS/PHONE AND SAID I'D HAVE TO GET CODES? FROM THEM!

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
