This car has some fuel injector problems. I've replaced them and it's still running very crappy. I've read a lot and seen a lot of people getting their fuel injectors fixed with this year of vehicle and now it smells like it's flooding out and Honda should be covering this. This has been an ongoing issue. I've tried to fix it. It's not working. This is car is a lemon.
2017 Honda CR-V complaints
Owner reports filed with NHTSA about this vehicle, newest first and reproduced as filed. They are unverified accounts: one proves nothing, and a pattern across many is the thing worth reading. Back to the full 2017 record →
Impact on the driver side from another vehicle caused it to be totaled but not a single airbag deployed.
When driving on the interstate, the car speed went from 75 mph to 10-20 mph over 20 miles. The engine light came on, and the car would not go any faster than 10-20 mph. it was extremely nerve racking trying to get off the interstate and attempt to limp in to Topeka KS. It was very cold that day as well.
1.Please see my letter to Honda. 2.I drove for months with all of my warning lights on, not being able to tell what was actually wrong with my car/note being able to afford to fix my car that isn't even paid off. See letter to Honda. 3.Yes. It has been confirmed by my local Honda dealer as well as an independent service center. 4.I have filed a complaint with Honda. 5.Yes. All of my warning lights in the car would flash/stay on making it very difficult to figure out what the issue actually was. Letter: I am writing to follow up on my recent communication with Honda’s Goodwill Department regarding the fuel injector failure on my 2017 Honda CR-V. This situation has caused significant financial burden & frustration with a brand I have always trusted. Over a year ago, the fuel injectors began intermittently triggering the vehicle’s computer system, despite there being no actual mechanical issue. At that time, Honda acknowledged this was a “common” problem with this model year & advised it was safe to continue driving since the sensor was only barely tripping the system. I hoped Honda would issue a recall or extended warranty, as this is a known and widespread defect. That never occurred. This past weekend, the sensor failed completely & required immediate replacement at a cost of $1,000+—nearly identical to the estimate Honda provided over a year ago. My vehicle has only 96,000 miles, is not yet paid off, & was purchased as a certified pre-owned Honda. These factors are precisely
With 82,300 miles on the Odometer, my 2017 Honda CRV Touring AWD started misfiring and displayed a check engine light for a P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire detected. All 4 injectors had failed displaying Cylinder 1-4 as Fail(Rich) under the dealership diagnostic. This left me with a $2,000 repair bill at the Honda dealership. “DIAGNOSE CUSTOMER CONCERN: checked car. confirmed complaint. dtc p0301 cylinder 1 misfire stored. performed AF terst and found all 4 cylinders running rich. Recommend replacing injectors The analysis of the various functions of the components of a vehicle to determine if they are operating properly or have recorded faults which need to be corrected.” Honda refuses to reimburse me or even a partial reimbursement for something that should be recalled on this vehicles as being way too common on a daily basis.
Recently, all of the warning lights on the car went off all at once and wouldn’t turn off even if I turn the car off/on. There was no issue leading up to this but after taking it into Honda and getting a second opinion, it is due to faulty fuel injectors and the repair total will be $1,800. The repairs are necessary because of safety issues associated with the fuel injectors. Other Honda vehicles with the same injectors have an extended warranty (150,000 miles) but Honda CRV’s do not. I read 100+ reviews other users having the same issue. I’d like Honda to step in and at least give an extended warranty.
I am reporting a recurring safety issue with my 2017 Honda CR-V. The vehicle has experienced repeated incidents where multiple warning lights suddenly illuminate at the same time. In some instances, the lights disappear temporarily and then return. I replaced the battery, but the warning lights returned within two weeks. About one year ago, the Honda dealer recommended replacing all four fuel injectors, which I did at significant cost. Despite this repair, the problem reoccurred. Most recently, all warning lights came on again and the vehicle lost power and became undrivable. This presents a serious safety concern, especially if it occurs while driving. I have learned that many other 2017 Honda CR-V owners report similar fuel injector and warning-light issues. I believe this may indicate a widespread defect and request that NHTSA investigate this matter for potential recall or corrective action. Thank you for pay close attention to this matter!
Driving down a local road with a speed limit of 40 mph. The car suddenly braked and the BRAKE warning light show on the dashboard. No others cars were near me, in all direction. It was clear sunny/dry day. Had to accelerate to prevent car from stop. to s void a possible rear end crash.
On December 31, on my way to work driving 58mph on the highway, the car slows down in traffic on the highway and the dashboard lights up. I avoided a wreck, narrowly. I put on my flashers and coast to the nearest gas station. I turned the car off and waited 10 minutes or so and proceed to drive home with the flashers on, the car seemed to be ok and I was 10 minutes from my house then the car slows down again to 7 mph so I drove like that with the flashers holding up traffic praying I'd make it home. It stalled crossing the train tracks but I made it home. I called a mechanic that hooked it up to a device to read the codes and He informed me about the fuel injector and that it was common for the make and model of my HONDA CR-V to have this problem. The cost is exorbitant and Honda should bear some if not all of the cost for replacement.
I have had all warning lights go on disabled some options, gave me incorrect speed, (i ended up w a speeding ticket over that) made my vehicle go in limp mode ,didn't want to accelerate on highway, could have caused an accident I have a young child and was scared to even drive it. It turned out to be my fuel injectors which was very pricey and I had honda do the repair. I have seen a whole lot of people with this issue with the engine I have which is the 1.5 turbo. I think it should be addressed by honda and they should really be fixing the issue at no cost especially since they know the original injectors were faulty and they changed the part number. Hope it gets addressed on behalf of hundreds of thousands of these vehicles and not so happy honda customers.
Car has been having all of the dashboard lights come on. I search up this and there are so many same gen Honda CRV 2017-19 having the same issue happen repeatedly. I have came across atleast 50+ people online that keep having this issue come back. Also at times it will says engine is too hot and to park safely. This is 3rd time where my car is in idle and the car shuts off and says engine is too hot to which I then turn it off. When I proceed to try to start car after waiting it does not stay on. I went to 2 different Hondas and they stated battery, alternator, starter are good. This car is no good if everyone is having the same issues.
All fuel injectors need to be replaced. I know 2 other people with CRV's that have had the same exact issue and had to have them replaced. It is also all over forums on the internet. Service people at Honda also told me it is a known issue with the fuel injectors in the Honda 4 cylinders until 2023. I have a quote for almost $1700. I currently own 2 Honda CRV's and one is a 2022 so I am expecting that one to eventually need the fuel injectors also. I am bringing the car in for service on 12/15 to have this done. I feel like this should be investigated to bring a recall. When people that work at repair facilities say the only way to bring this to light is to report it to this agency and try to get a recall since Honda isn't going to issue the recall on their own.
2017 Honda CRV only serviced at Honda dealers and ALL recommended maintenance performed including cleaning the fuel injectors at 50K! Engine was running rough and took it to dealer. Tech found vehicle running very rich, with some slight misfires. Pulled plugs, no cooling system leak, every cylinder running rich, fuel injectors are sticking (cleaned one year ago), spark plugs are heavily fouled. Had to replace all fuel injectors, and all spark plugs at 56K miles. Called Honda because this is a known 2017-18 software problem causing the fuel to run rich "Honda Service Bulletin 19-032" June 18, 2019 and Honda claimed my vehicle was not included in the extended 6yr unlimited miles warranty because I took it in for service before it through the required codes. So because I take good care of my car and pay more for Honda dealers to do the maintenance so my warrenty won't be voided I get screwed by Honda out of $2300!! NHTSA knows this is a true saftey issue. The recorded complaints are massive for this fuel issue. It is a software issue that should have been updated on all the 2017-2018 Honda CRV's to avoid premature replacement of the fuel injectors. Honda has all my vehicle records in their system but couldn't confirm the dealer did the required software updates which the TBS specifically says if the software update is not done it voids the warranty. NHTSA needs to make Honda make a recall and reimburse for all these fuel injectors and spark plugs. Honda also didn't have any loya
2017 Honda CR V- Hybrid All warning lights on the dashboard—including the Check Engine Light, Oil Pressure Warning, Battery Warning Light, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Light, Brake System Warning, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) Light, Fuel Level Warning Light, and Engine Temperature Warning Light—activated intermittently. This issue intermittently occurred each time the vehicle was started, with symptoms lasting from a few days up to several weeks. The warning lights would temporarily resolve, with periods lasting from a few days to several months. The vehicle's battery was replaced twice within one year, which seemed to temporarily alleviate the issue; however, the warning lights recurred afterward. Recently, Honda conducted a thorough diagnosis and identified the root cause, leading to the replacement of the spark plugs and fuel injectors at an approximate cost of $2,000. If unaddressed, this issue could pose safety risks such as rough idling, decreased fuel efficiency, engine misfires, difficulty starting, poor acceleration, unexpected stalling, complete loss of power, and electrical problems. This issue is recognized by Honda and is currently covered under a recall for the 2023-2025 Honda Pilot and the 2023-2025 Honda Accord Hybrid. While the Honda Accord Hybrid and Honda CR-V Hybrid share the same fuel injection system as part of Honda’s two-motor hybrid-electric powertrain, the Honda CR-V Hybrid has not yet been included in this recall. Nonetheless, many Honda
A 2017 CR-V entering limp mode and showing all dashboard alerts. I brought it up to Honda America and open case #15734548 to complained about fuel injector recall. After reading the codes at local Honda dealership Chandler,Arizona and repaired cylinder misfire issues. Two days later again started showing all warning lights. I request local Honda dealer to diagnosis further. After discussion with dealer and started reading countless posts regarding bad fuel injectors on different models. I too see Honda recalls for fuel injectors and my VIN is not in recall list. Its well maintained and only 73k miles on this 2017 CRV. They wouldn’t normal maintenance issue and its a design or manufacturing flaw. I am requesting that Honda cover the full cost of the necessary repairs and more move its several safety recalls due to bad fuel injector design or so. Should be included in recalls.

All warnings on dash appeared on vehicle. Took to the dealership and all 4 cylinder fuel injectors need replacing. Car only has 39,900 miles on it.
Monday (11/17/2025) after work: car vibrated <10 seconds then stopped when turning on car. Tuesday (11/18/2025): ALL warning lights came on. Schedule appt at Honda for Saturday when they could see us. Wednesday (11/19/2025) was driving to AutoZone to have battery checked (>3 years ago all lights went on and it was the battery) when car went from 70mph on highway to not exceeding 20mph with my family in the car during rush hour. I had to stay on the road as there was no shoulder resulting in a near mass car accident as everyone slammed brakes to avoid me. Went <20mph to closest car shop (right off the exit). Car shop without looking said most likely the head gasket which is a known Honda CRV 2017 issue. Said maybe spark plugs so we tried as its a significantly less costly fix which did not solve the issue. Had it towed to Baierl Honda on Friday (11/21/2025) before the car was even at Honda the worker told us it was a head gasket issue. Once looking they confirmed $5000 head gasket issue with potential for another $5000 in damage once they open the engine. There are several class action lawsuits out for this very issue which is a huge safety risk to those in the car as well as those around as the engine stops working no matter what speed you are traveling. We reached out to Honda corporate and have yet to hear back. We have not cleared Honda Baierl to work on the problem yet so it has been sitting in their lot.
Center display for backup camera locks up and no longer shows live view causing a near miss on people walking behind vehicle. Possibly related: Center display also sometimes goes blank or audio fails. Need video to show sequence of events, but that can not be uploaded. Also, when center display sometimes stays blank (although, backup camera might still work, without guide lines), fuse #19 under the hood can be removed w/ vehicle off, then CR-V started, then off, and fuse re-placed, and then center display will work again for some time.
I have had my crv suddenly brake on me on multiple occasions when absolutely no one is around to cause it. It’s created many of close calls and given me mild whip lash in the past. But yesterday it happened in a way much worse than ever bc I was on the interstate and it abruptly stopped (again no one in front of me or to the side) which jolted me and gave me some brutal whiplash and then it was locked up & wouldn’t go faster than 20mph!! I was in the left lane & I almost got hit by multiple people behind me & almost died! I had to drive like this for 3-5 minute (hazards on of course) until I could ‘safely’ pull over. Once i turned it off and turned it back on, it went back to accelerating normally. I have taken my car to the Honda dealership for every oil change I’ve gotten & this issue has never come up on their full vehicle inspection. I cannot emphasize enough how close I came to dying bc of this. I really hope a resolution or recall happens sooner than later bc I’m now learning there’s 1000’s of people online saying they’ve had similar experiences. It should not take years to address this when there are so many lives at stake. Please help. Sincerely, terrified to drive my car now (& that’s not good considering I drive for work)
Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) Is automatically warning and has engaged when no object is ahead. Seems to be picking up overhead/over roadway traffic signals and signage.
Unknown: all light on dash come on. Maybe an electrical or engine problem. All safety features on car disable. Honda dealer said it’s an emission problem. Battery has been changed and problem still continues. Started at about 70,000 miles. Comes on and goes away on its own. Happened about 7 times now
P0301 code Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected.
All dashboard lights come on when car is idling. Changed battery and tested alternator and issue stills persist. Temporary resolution is rebooting the system while car is in accessory mode. I've read many articles with similar issues where after paying thousands of dollars to the dealership to resolve the issue with no success.
The CMBS activated when driving when no other vehicle was in front of my vehicle. the car came to a stop.
In December 2024 we brought our 2017 Honda CRV for rattling and shaking when accelerating. In all cases below, the dashboard flashed engine warnings and fuel system warnings. The Honda Dealership mechanics shop replaced fuel injectors, spark plugs, and adjusted valves. Importantly, they also performed a full coolant service. Services totaled 2,952.92. In October 2025 we brought the 2017 Honda CRV to another Honda Dealership for the same issue. They performed a fuel system service and replaced the blower motor and, importantly, a coolant service. Services totaled 1,070.91. On November 7th the car completely failed and was towed to the first Honda Dealership who diagnosed a failed damaged head gasket. Repair will cost 6500.00 dollars. Upon research we have found that the 2017 Honda CRV Turbo has what appear to be a known problem with coolant leaking in the cylinders causing shaking and rattling when accelerating and leading to damage of the head gasket. My daughter's, the driver of the car, safety was at risk as the car could have failed at anytime between these repairs. Given Honda's knowledge of this problem I would have expected the two dealerships to have let us know this could be a problem. Given both dealership mechanic shops changed our coolant (these dealerships have joint records so they can see each other's work) and must know about the issue described, I would expect to be told and deal with the issue rather than wait for total failure at 153K miles, just 3K miles pa
I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the randomly vanishing dashboard, all sorts of warning lights and its recurring issues. I see a recall for 2017 CRV for Fuel injector. I don't see my VIN for fuel injector recalls and most likely my CRV issue with fuel injector. Fuel injector replacement is a major repair. I. I scheduled an appointment with AutoNation Honda Chandler,AZ,to troubleshoot an issue. I believe these issues may stem from a design or manufacturing flaw. I am requesting that Honda cover the full cost of the necessary repairs.
When driving the vehicle the steering wheel sticks when I turn, change lanes, etc. It is most noticeable at highway speeds. If I am moving to the left, the steering wheel sticks and doesn't want to freely move back to the right/straighten up. Obviously the reverse occurs when I go to move to the right- it sticks and pressure is required to straighten the steering wheel. to date the steering wheel has not remained in a stuck position. This presents a major safety concern - if it doesn't move freely back to the desired position there is heightened chance of a traffic accident resulting in damage to my car and other cars involved. Worst case scenario: a serious accident resulting in SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO MYSELF as well as any other drivers and/or passengers involved. NOTE: My local Honda dealer reports that there are NO recalls or Service bulletins on my vehicle, based on the VIN number. Other VIN numbers of the same make and model year as mine (2017 CR-V) ARE subject of a recall (Honda Service Bulletin # 18-103, regarding faulty Steering Gearbox.) For that reason I feel my vehicle should be included and repairs made at no cost to me.
Driving down an in town road going approximately 35 mph with no cars within 5 car lengths front side and back when I hear three beeps and my car brakes hard on its own and then continues. It was scary and I pulled off the road to a parking lot to turn the car off and on. While today I didn’t have anyone tailgating me, this could have easily been a bad accident in town traffic. I plan to contact my dealer tomorrow to report and have safetysystem checked and adjusted. I see that others have experiences like this and online was advised to report this.
My turbo had a nut come loose twice, once after having the turbo completely replaced. This has lead to a head gasket failure.
My 2017 Honda CR-V experienced premature and sudden fuel injector failure that I believe is part of a widespread defect affecting 2017–2019 CR-V models. In April, multiple warning lights came on several times (“10-point” dashboard lights). I went to different mechanics, and one recommended a brake fluid flush, which I completed. The warnings continued. Later, while driving, I heard a sudden, harsh crunching sound from the engine area. I immediately pulled over out of concern for safety. The vehicle still moved but did not feel safe to drive, so I cautiously limped it home and canceled clients. I took the vehicle to South Point Honda in Durham, NC. Their diagnosis confirmed that all four fuel injectors had failed, and they quoted $1,679.99. I then had the repair completed at a Honda/Acura specialty shop for $1,273.12. Fuel injectors are not a regular maintenance item, and many other CR-V owners have reported the same problem. These injector failures can cause misfires, loss of power, or engine damage while driving, which is a safety concern. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate premature injector failure in 2017–2019 Honda CR-V models.
Back in July, my car started having the lights come on; it lit up the whole dashboard. The brake system, tire pressure, brake hold system, hill start, adaptive cruise control, etc. It affected the power of the vehicle. There was no acceleration at all. It was like it went in limp mode. This has happened numerous times. The other problem is starting it was making a hesitation to start. It would also start rough as in almost like a shake. We noticed that it was using antifreeze more often than it should and would get hot sitting still. That's when we took car to be inspected by a certified mechanic and that's when we found out that we needed a new engine due to antifreeze seeping into the engine.
Fuel smell when vehicle is parked overnight. The smell is inside the cabin especially stronger near the rear left passenger door where the filler fuel is located. This has been happening even in summer temperatures, not just cold weather like some people have mentioned in forums or online.
UNEXPECTED SUDDEN ACCELERATION. 2017 Honda CR-V. Twice while highway driving with autopilot on, system failed to slow it when approaching other vehicles and it sped up instead. When I pumped the brakes, it went away. I TOOK IT OFF AUTOPILOT HENCEFORTH. Several days later, coming out of a market parking lot and approaching a stop sign, the accelerator went down and sped me forward with brakes doing barely anything. I shot into a CVS parking lot, managed to stop it and turn the engine off. It's sitting in a garage now and no one knows what to do and I am terrified to drive it. Could have killed me or others around me. IT WAS NOT THE FLOOR MAT NOR ANYTHING I DID.
While driving on a clear day, i went under a bridge on a downhill slope and the car flashed the brake warning and applied the breaks automatically almost causing the car behind me to hit me. Dealer has not been able to reproduce the issue. this has happened a few times. once on the highway and another time slowly going through a construction site where there was a dip in the road. the last issue happened on 9/27/2025. the first issue was in March of 2024
This complaint is in regards to three engine failures for my vehicle. I purchased the vehicle in October of 2017. In October 2020 this vehicle suffered a malfunction of the fuel injector systems. Warning lights were enabled prior to losing full power of the vehicle at this time and it was brought in for repair. In June 2025, my vehicle began losing power while actively driving resulting in the car and myself being put in potentially dangerous conditions on the road. The car would fail to accelerate and move. The car had to be coasted back to an area of safety. There were no warning lights prior to this happening. Warning lights came on hours later after attempting to address the issue. At that time in June 2025, my car was found to have a blown head gasket from an unknown cause per the dealership. I was without a car for approximately 3 weeks which was devastating for my family and caused hardship. As well as a financial burden from the costly repairs. In September 2025, my car again lost power and was required to be towed to the dealership. At this time I was told again that the fuel injectors needed replaced due to failure. Warning lights did not display prior to the power failure, they displayed after the fact as we attempted to find a cause at the scene. This was a sudden power failure that could have been potentially dangerous.
The headlights were on after I replaced the battery. Did a little bit of research and found that the body control module or (BCM) would be going out. Got a new one sent and tried replacing it and the part didn't end up working. Took it to a non honda dealer. Got it taken care of, but the new BCM wouldn't work. All warning lights came on and now I have to deal with the BCM going out again and not able to return the part back to Honda.
All dashboard lights ( warnings) will light up and has stayed on for 4 days. Will randomly clear on its own. Car will also jerk while accelerating speed from 30 to 40 miles and above. Car has been inspected by a mechanic shop and has checked fuses and has had a tune up. This has happened over several months this year starting back in March. Issue still continues. Mechanical shop has reported 3 more cars like mine Honda CRV has come in with the same issue and issue remains unknown and unresolved at this time.
The contact owns a 2017 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle stalled on the interstate. The contact was able to coast to the shoulder of the roadway. After waiting for a while, the vehicle was restarted with several unknown warning lights flashing on the instrument cluster. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the intake cam, the high-pressure fuel pump, the fuel injectors, and the spark plugs were replaced. The high-pressure test was performed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 144,532.
The contact owns a 2017 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, several unknown warning lights became illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had occurred twice. The vehicle was taken to an independent shop and was diagnosed with internal ECM failure with the ABS module. The contact was advised to contact the dealer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a fuel injector failure. The contact was informed that the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
The high-pressure and low-pressure fuel pump malfunctioned and no, it is not available for inspection upon request. The car all of a sudden got stalling while running at 45 mph and got jerking continuously. After the incident, the car was taken to a dealer for a diagnosis and the dealer inspected that the high-pressure and low-pressure fuel pump got malfunctioned. There were NO warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure and they first appeared when the incident occured.

To Whom It May Concern, I am reporting a serious safety concern with my 2017 Honda CR-V related to the fuel/propulsion system. While driving, the vehicle will suddenly stop accelerating. At the same time, multiple warning messages appear on the dash, including alerts that the driver assist system, cruise control, and brake system are not functioning, along with other system warnings. This issue happens without warning and has occurred multiple times. It creates a dangerous situation, especially at highway speeds or in traffic, since the vehicle loses the ability to accelerate and several critical safety systems appear disabled. I am very concerned that this may be a defect in the fuel/propulsion system or an associated electrical/control system that could pose a risk to myself, my passengers, and other drivers. Please advise on the next steps for inspection and resolution.
My car decelerated on the highway from a speed of approximately 65 mph to 9 mph in a matter of seconds without any reason. I drove in the breakdown lane with flashers on to get to the next exit and upon entering the off-ramp my CRV suddenly accelerated back to normal. I took my vehicle to my Honda dealership and they told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it. It was showing no codes. The write-up did not mention my description of the deceleration on the highway. It discussed only my thought that my alternator might be bad. This was 8/19/25. Since this check at the dealership my car has done this exact act two more times on the highway for no reason. I am terrified to drive my car on the highway because I fear for my safety.
On 9/2/25 all the engine lights came on on the dash. I replaced the battery and it was fine the rest of the day. Then 9/3/25 once again all the lights are on and none of the ADAS work.
Occasionally, for no reason, automatically brakes and issues the brake warning notification despite no traffic in front of the vehicle. When a vehicle brakes for no reason in traffic, the risk is that you will be hit from behind.
My cruise control will not work. Lane departure is not working. All my lights are on in my new vehicle I just purchased. BAD FUEL INJECTORS seem to be the problem. Honda should recall these bad fuel injectors before a serious accident occurs.
All lights on dash coming on. Codes p0172 and p0303 pop up on obd scanner. Mafs , spark plugs, ignition coils and air filters all replaced. Car goes into limp mode. 124,800 miles. Dealer says fuel injectors failed and needs replacing, research shows this is a common issue for the. 2017 crv Honda edition. Mpg never dropped , remained. 33.1. When codes cleared, car functions like normal.
- rack and pinion steering has developed 'sticky steering' problem - steering resistance has created steering difficulty and dangerous driving situation - problem has been confirmed by a dealer and estimate for repair over $5,000 - component has not been inspected by manufacturer, wish they would. - no warning lights prior to failure. Steering my Honda CRV 2017 has become difficult and the 'sticky steering' symptoms have also been experienced by other CRV owners as expressed on line. This vehicle has become dangerous to drive
My vehicle braked hard on its own as I approached a metal pot hole cover in the street. It also flashes a BRAKE warning when I cross over shadows, such as from an overpass.

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
