Defect. THE FUEL INLET NEEDLE DOES NOT SEAL PROPERLY AGAINST THE FUEL INLET SEAT.
Risk. THE FUEL OVERFLOW SYSTEM ALLOWS FUEL TO LEAK ONTO THEGROUND, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A FIRE IF EXPOSED TO A SOURCE OF IGNITION.
Remedy. REPLACE THE FUEL INLET NEEDLE.
Defect. THE FUEL TANK LEAKED AS A RESULT OF IMPACT TESTING PERFORMED BY HARLEY-DAVIDSON.
Risk. SPILLED FUEL CAN IGNITE WHEN EXPOSED TO A SOURCE OFIGNITION.
Remedy. REPAIR THE MOTORCYCLES TO AVOID THE FUEL SPILLAGE CONDITION.
