I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MOTORCYCLE IN THE FALL OF 1998. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP A NUMBER OF TIMES FOR THE PROBLEM. WHEN I AM GOING ABOUT 55MPH THE MOTOR JUST GOES DEAD. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE FUEL VALVE, JETTED THE CARB JET, AND PUT IN A NEW DIAPHREM. THE PROBLEM STILL IS NOT FIXED. I AM LETTING YOU KNOW THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE LAST WEEK I ALMOST GOT REAR-ENDED BY TWO TRUCKS ON THE HIGHWAY BECAUSE THE MOTOR WENT DEAD. I CAN NOT GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER FOR WHY THIS MOTORCYCLE KEEPS DIEING. THE PERSON AT THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT I HAVE FOUND MOST OF THE THINGS GOING WRONG WITH THIS YEARS(1998) PROBLEMS. I AM MOST CONCERNED WITH THIS NOT RUNNING PROPERLY. THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE SOLVED AT THE MANUFACTURERS COST NOT AT THE COST OF SOMEONES LIFE.
