Filed Apr 6, 202698 vehiclesGreenpower Motor Company Inc.

Defect. Greenpower Motor Company Inc. (Greenpower) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Nano Beast and 2021-2024 Beast school buses. The Cross View Mirror is designed to only view pedestrian around stopped buses. The label warning drivers not to use the mirror to view vehicular traffic may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk. Without a warning label, the driver may use the altered view to see other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Greenpower will inspect and install the label as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 4, 2026. Owners may contact Greenpower's customer service at 1-909-346-1090. Greenpower's number for this recall is GP-SVS-26-001.

Reading this record

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.

Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.

Recall repairs are free for as long as the recall stands. Check whether a specific car still has open work at NHTSA's VIN lookup.
