Defect. Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Imagine travel trailers. The installed safety chains are underrated for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).

Risk. Underrated chains can allow the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the safety chains, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 19, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910069.

Defect. Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2027 Imagine recreational trailers. The inverter prep circuit conductor may have insufficient overcurrent protection, causing the conductor to overheat.

Risk. An overheated conductor may increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the breaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 17, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910066.
