TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC W5500 HD TRUCK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER WAS TRAVELING 10 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE BECAME RESISTANT TO ACCELERATION. THERE WAS AN INCREASE IN ENGINE RPMS, BUT THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALSO ILLUMINATED DURING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,850.
