What owners reported
Newest filingsMY ORIGINAL BATTERY IN MY 2001 TAHOE LEAKED AND DIED AFTER TWO YEARS. I WAS INFORMED TODAY, BY MY GM DEALER (NORTH STATE CHEVY) THE LEAK DESTROYED MY WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTORS( FRONT WASHER AND REAR WASHER) AND THE CONNECTING HOSES. IT COST ME OVER $200 TO GET REPAIRED. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY ORIGINAL BATTERY IN MY 1999 YUKON AFTER JUST TWO YEARS.
INSTRUMENT PANEL HAS NO INDICATION THAT DOORS ARE AJAR. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED ABOUT THIS ISSUE, BUT STATED THAT TWO THOUSAND AND ONE MODELS WERE NOT MANUFACTURED THAT WAY. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS.*AK

Reading this record
No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.
Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
Most recent recall on file: none. Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation.
