My car just died on me. No warning or anything. Took the dealership 2 and half weeks to fix my car. They came to the conclusion that it was my Trans harness cable. Cost $820.00 to fix.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the TCM had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer then diagnosed that the transmission clutch assembly, the transmission lever, and bearings needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact stated that she had previously filed a complaint regarding a similar failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.

My vehicle was serviced by elk grove ford service dept. only 250 miles ago and the vehicle is back in for more service. time before did the same thing said the problem was this and when they repaired they called and said this is now wrong, I keep asking why no answer. Now the vehicle had to be taken in and I believe because I have put in complaints before that they are f with me and messing with me I told them elk grove ford [XXX] that the engine light came on and the wrench light on the engine came on, they called me and told me around march 30th that it needed this and that, they came back now and said the power train control module is needed and they cant find any part for it I found a part the advisor said the parts person looked half a day I don't believe them as see that the pcm can maybe reset they have not said to me if they tried resetting the pcm and I would like the part number. I feel I am being set up for more charges as if they would have check the wrench lamp I would not have two charges, they keep repairing items that I believe did not need to be replacement as the plugs were working find. My 2014 Ford Fiesta started to "Smoke". There was a smoldering Electrical short emitting smoke from fusebox. The car would not Start after this incident. I have a letter from Ford indicating the Fusebox had a recall on this Issue due to a corrosion defect. I took it to local Ford dealer who Confirmed recall/defect

The contact later became aware that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V209000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) that he related to the failure. The contact stated while his son was was at a complete stop at the traffic light, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was able to restart with a 15 seconds delay. Upon making a right turn, the failure reoccurred. The contact's son was able to restart the vehicle; however, the failure persisted upon making a left turn. The vehicle restarted with a 30 seconds delay. The contact's son was able to continue driving. However, the failure reoccurred the next day while coming to a complete stop. The check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle failed to restart after several attempts. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that fuel rail and fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was able to restart and was towed to the contact's residence. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V005000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V402000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 36,999.

MY 2014 FORD FIESTA HAS A MANUEL CLUTCH THAT HAS MALFUNCTIONED SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR NEW IN SEPTEMBER, 2013. THE PROBLEM BEGAN WHEN THERE WAS APPROXIMATELY 20,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE. THE CAR WOULD SOMETIMES STALL OUT AND OTHER TIMES IT WOULD NOT PROPERLY GO INTO GEAR. I WOULD HAVE TO SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE TO GET IT INTO GEAR. I CALLED THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY INFORMED ME TO BRING THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG. THE CLUTCH HAS CONTINUED TO MALFUNCTION OCCASIONALLY UP UNTIL THE LAST 6 MONTHS. NOW IT HAS BECOME DANGEROUS. THE CAR WILL NOT GO INTO GEAR PROPERLY MOST OF THE TIME. WHILE RUNNING, THE CLUTCH WILL KEEP PULLING EVEN THOUGH IT IS PUSHED ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR OF THE CAR. I WAS IN A LINE OF TRAFFIC AND ALMOST HIT THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME BECAUSE IT KEPT PULLING. I HAD TO SHUT THE CAR OFF AND RESTART IT TO STOP THE PULLING. THERE ARE NO WARNINGS OF ANY KIND PRIOR TO THE FAILURE OR DURING THE FAILURE. THIS IS PUTTING MY LIFE AND OTHERS AT RISK. I ONLY HAVE 94,000 MILES ON IT AND IT IS TOO DANGEROUS TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE. THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM BY FORD. IT IS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION. I HAVE NOT HAD IT REPAIRED AS OF NOW.

I am writing to request Autofair Ford of Haverhill immediately repurchase the 2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium I purchased from them in 2019. I am requesting to be refunded the full purchase price plus all additional costs for registration, warranties and expenses associated with the 2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium that was sold to me. This vehicle, has since August 2022, been at Jannell Ford in Hanover Massachusetts, with a transmission defect that is unable to be repaired. As you will see from the enclosed documentation Ford apparently knew the transmission was defective and prone to serious safety concerns when they sold the cars originally and resold them through their dealerships. Additionally, Ford has allegedly (per news articles in the Detroit Free Press) instructed its dealerships to stall and delay resolving issues with the customers who purchased Fiestas and Focuses. My experience with Jannell Ford of Hanover and Autofair Ford of Haverhill can only be categorized as a concerted effort to delay and stall, by the dealerships not returning phone calls, not doing what they said they would, not providing information when asked repeatedly and most especially by not informing me that no repair would fix a known and documented defective transmission that came with the car. Since my Fiesta is a resale in 2019 and there have been tens of thousands of complaints made to the Ford Corporation regarding the unsafe and mal-functioning transmissions, Autofair Ford of Haverhill, I believe, had

The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving to her residence. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic and was informed that the transmission and a clutch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact called a local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The contact stated that the clutch was replaced three years prior by the local dealer. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

2014 Ford Fiesta ST engine failure due to known issue with engine block design. I had an extended warranty on the vehicle that was purchased with the vehicle from Key Chevrolet in Middletown. After experiencing a piston flutter, I took the vehicle to them under the warranty for repair, however, they could not locate the problem and recommended that I visit a Ford dealer. (9/2/22) Prior to the failure I attempted to have a recall repair performed with multiple ford dealerships throughout the state (Tasca, Monaco, Gengras, Dowling) and was told that they cannot currently get the parts to perform the repair. (Sep 2022) I contacted a recall rep after the failure and I was told it would be 4-6 weeks before a dealer could even look at it and that I could have a private mechanic (I chose to take it to Firestone in Middletown) repair and apply for reimbursement through the recall. I chose that route, however, after $1500 in work, Firestone said that the head was warped too badly & the piston walls were pitted and the engine couldn't be repaired, it needed to be replaced. After contacting both a rep at the Ford Recall center & the service department at Monaco Ford - I was told that towing the vehicle in a mid-repair state to the dealership was acceptable. Firestone did ask if they needed to put the engine back together, and I specifically called and asked, now this is the reason they are denying the claim. The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that while driving at vehicle speeds, the transmission would shutter upon the depression of the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but the dealer failed to diagnose the failure. As the failure worsened, the vehicle would not accelerate above 20 MPH and would not operate while in reverse(R). The contact also stated the transmission warning light had appeared on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and this time the vehicle was diagnosed with a defective TCM(Transmission Control Module). The manufacturer was also notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 36,000.

As I'm driving the car will stop if I get it to go again it won't pick up speed, it will rev up but not go, I was told that it has all the original parts that was until I had someone look at it for the problem stated since then it has new spark plugs new front brakes, break's in back have been rotated new tires, I'm still paying a car note on this car I've had to pay towing fees and still the problem persist I'm scared to put my boys in this car but it's our only form of transportation the dealer that sold me this car is horrible and Ford was of no help, still trying to find the main issue.

Son was in an accident last night and all but the drivers steering wheel airbag deployed causing him to hit his head on the steering wheel.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer transferred the contact to file a complaint with NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 47,700.

Clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder failure. Both leaked, clutch pedal ceased functioning while driving, leaving the car inoperable

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated while driving approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle began to vibrate abnormally. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact pulled over and turned off and restarted the vehicle and the vehicle started shuddering. The contact was eventually able to drive the vehicle without the failure recurring. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer and it was diagnosed that the transmission had a "flutter" and determined that numerous transmission parts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.

Swollen lug nuts made removing wheels impossible. Unable to receive balance at a shop. Tire blowout on 28Apr22 caused prolonged disablement in unsafe area due to inability to remove lug nuts and change tire.

Driving in the highway the car exceeded 60mph and it overheated. When I took it to the mechanic they said that the the head gasket was cracked and leaking fumed into the coolant. I have had trouble with overheating and fixed it with a thermostat replacement and fixing leak of coolant. Mechanic report: “ vel 1 Testing Scope and scan we pulled codes P1299-00 "Cylinder Head Over Temperature Protection Active" and P2557-00 "Engine Coolant Level Sensor switch circuit Range/Performance" data pids and freeze frames were reviewed we had only 1 freeze frame and that was for code P1299 it set at engine rpm of 2378, vehicle speed was 64 mph, time since start was 317 seconds, ECT186 degrees, IAT 71 degrees ambient temp was 64 degrees, distance since codes cleared was 5018 miles. Cooling system visual inspection was performed we found the coolant bottle full. We tried to pull spark plugs to do leak down test and found three of the plugs are seized and not coming out. We put the sample hose from gas analyzer in expansion tank and hydrocarbons went to 64 PPM instantly, revealing combustion gasses being pushed in the cooling system.”. When looking for recalls for my cars make and model and a recall was made with the exact same thing that happened to my car, but my car was no added to the recall number. Recall #17V209000.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V331000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The contact stated that the hood and door lights were inadvertently illuminated. Additionally, the key fob was not recognized while placed in the ignition switch. The failures were intermittent. The dealer was made aware of the failures and informed the contact that she had to pay out of pocket for the fob key replacement. Lilliston Ford Inc (833 N Delsea Dr, Vineland, NJ 08360) and Carman Ford (193 S Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720) were also made aware of the failures and informed the contact to schedule an appointment. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.

At the time of this complaint, the Ford Fiesta that's the subject of this complaint has received 1 whole new transmission and 1 TCM replacement within 2.5 years. The first two times there were warning lights, but now no warnings are showing. To put this issue into perspective, I have only owned this car for 2.5 years, and it was purchased from a dealership used (however the dealership never mentioned the rampant transmission issues or informed me of the recent lawsuits about the Ford Fiesta). The replacement of the TCM was completed on September 16, 2021. This repair took a month to complete. Now, after being repaired for a mere 2 months, the car is exhibiting the exact same behaviors as both previous occurrences. Both previous repairs were completed by professionals, and should have fixed the issue. However, the transmission issues continue to reoccur. At this point, the car has become a major safety concern. The transmission issues are becoming extremely frequent after the "repairs" and "replacements", and are sudden in occurrence while driving. There is no warning the gear will slip into what seems to be "neutral", or that it will fail to accelerate. Additionally, the car will randomly fail to respond to gas pedal presses, especially at intersections or on hills. I fear that this car is dangerous to drive, as the issues are so sudden in nature. I have tried to settle the issue with Ford directly, but they have ignored me every step of the way. At one point, they said they

None of the recalls were ever done to my vehicle. Mailing problems didn’t receive notification in mail. Door handle fell off and window handles coming off. Tag light glitching and in car press light doing the same. Crack plastic parts of car cracked years ago. Strange engine leak. Door panels coming off and panel around gear broke a year after I got the car. I sent complaint two years ago. I have not heard from anyone.

The contact stated while driving at undisclosed speed the contact noticed that the vehicle would become very hot and coming from the engine and interior of the vehicle and temperature gages was going up and down. The contact placed water in the coolant tank to cool down the vehicle. The contact was going to place a coolant sensor on the vehicle but never had the chance to do it. A few days later the contact was driving at undisclosed speed, the contact pulled into a parking lot and noticed flames coming from the front passenger side of the vehicle under the front wheel which continue to in gulf the vehicle. The contact exit out of the vehicle and called the fire department who extinguish the flames from the vehicle. No one was injured. The police came to the scene but there was no police report was taken. The vehicle was towed to a salvage tow yard where it was deemed a total loss. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,729.

The DSP6 transmission is slipping out of gear and into neutral. This causes the car's momentum to fall below safe advised speeds on highways, and also can cause the car to jerk suddenly at intersections. Ford knows about this issue but is refusing to repair it.

While I was driving on the interstate I was needing to shift into 5th gear, but it wouldn’t take the shift. I had to drive in the lower gears and it caused backup because I was on a toll road but couldn’t pick up speed. When I got to my destination, I realized I no longer had reverse. Mechanic says the transmission needs to be replaced bc it’s too expensive and difficult to fix, but we can’t find a transmission to fix it. He said he got it to go into 5th and reverse, but they don’t work.

The contact stated that the front passenger’s side axle was replaced three times however, the repair failed to fix the failure. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the front axle was replaced. The dealer informed the contact that the aftermarket part on the vehicle was causing the passenger’s side front axle failure. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.

Clutch pedal intermittently depresses but does not return to raised position. Clutch pedal can manually be returned to standard position but is then sometimes “sticky” after being depressed. Vehicle is a 2014 with less than 60,000 miles and is the 4th vehicle with a standard transmission I have owned. After reading on forums for this vehicle it appears that many people are having this exact same issue with the car and I suspect that it is a design defect.

I was lost and hit a turn to fast cause my car to launch and roll into a concrete ditch multiple times off a freeway turnaround. My airbags never deployed.

FRONT DOOR ON PASSENGER SIDE WILL NOT LATCH,. MECHANICALLY OR ELECTRICALLY. TO REPEAT, THE DOOR WILL NOT LATCH AND SWINGS FREELY. THIS OCCURRED AFTER PARKING THE VEHICLE AND ATTEMPTING TO LOCK ALL THE DOORS.

REAR DRIVER SIDE DOOR NOT LATCHING AND DOES NOT LOCK AND STAY CLOSED

FROM A DEAD STOP AT 2045 HRS CENTRAL TIME AS. I WAS COMING HOME FROM WORK I WAS STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN ON NORTHLAND AVENUE ON THE WAY TO FLORIDA AVENUE TO MY SONS HOUSE. WHEN I WENT TO TAKE A LEFT HAND TURN ONTO MEADE STREET (LOCATED IN APPLETON WIS) I PRESSED THE ACCELERATOR MY ENGINE REVED BUT MY CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. IT LURCHED SUDDENLY GRABBING POWER THEN STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION. I CHECKED TO SEE THAT IT WAS IN DRIVE AND NOT IN ANY OTHER GEAR. AS I PRESSED THE GAS AGAIN THE TRANSMISSION AND CAR STRUGGLED TO ENGAGE WHAT I COULD ONLY IMAGINE WAS THE CLUTCH. FINALLY I THE CAR ENGAGED AND JERKED ME FORWARD. I WAS VERY WORRIED I WAS GOING TO GET HIT STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION ! THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW OFF THE LOT!! IT HAS 61,750 MILES ON IT! I'M A 64 YEAR OLD LITTLE OLD LADY WHO TAKES CARE OF HER CAR! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS AND UNCALLED FOR! PLEASE CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION INTO FORDS 'NON-SERVICEABLE' TRANSMISSION! YOU CAN'T EVEN ADD FLUID OR CHECK THE LEVEL OF THE TRANSMISSION FLUID. I'VE TOLD MY SON AT TIMES AS WELL I'VE SMELLED WHAT I THOUGHT WAS HOT TRANSMISSION FLUID. THE SMELL WAS DISTINCT. THIS CAR HAS BEEN MAINTAINED. I'VE NEVER HEARD OF A CAR YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE DEALER TO GET SERVICE FOR THE TRANSMISSION BECAUSE IT'S SEALED. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND DANGEROUS !!

IT JUST STARTED RUNNING RUFF MY FAN WENT OUT FIRST THEN MY RADIO NOW THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPIN AND FEELS LIKE BREAKS ARE GRINDING

CLUTCH PEDAL WON'T RAISE. AT REST WHEN PUSHING IN THE PEDAL IT GOES TO THE FLOOR AND WILL ONLY RAISE ABOUT AN INCH. WHEN DISENGAGING, THE CLUTCH SLIPS. APPEARS TO BE A FAILURE OF THE CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER. THIS OCCURED AT ABOUT 66,000 MILES. I HAD IT REPAIRED AND AFTER FEWER THAN 5000 MILES IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 81,000. THE CONSUMER STATED ON A DAILY BASIS, WHEN THE CLUTCH WAS DEPRESSED, IT WOULD ENGAGE INTO GEAR WITHOUT RELEASING THE CLUTCH. *JS

CAR JERKS AND WHEN I UNLOCK DOOR ONLY 1 DOOR UNLOCKS AND THAT IS DRIVER'S SIDE TRANSMISSION GOING OUT AND EVERY TIME I PUT GAS ACT LIKE DOES WANT TO START UP AGAIN AND THEN ITS TAKES FOREVER JUST TO CATCH UP SPEED

DRIVING ON HIGHWAY ENGINE BEGAN TO OVERHEAT AND SPUTTER AND BEGAN LOSING POWER.

WHILE DRIVING THE ENGINE STARTED TO SURGE, MISFIRE AND THEN FOR NO APPARENTLY REASON THE ENGINE SHUT-OFF AND WOULD NOT RESTART. AFTER ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES IT FIRED BACK UP AND RAN MOMENTARILY AND THEN DIED AGAIN .HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP, BUT THEY CLAIM THEY CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE SAME PROBLEM. DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THE CAR ANYMORE, UNLESS THEY CAN RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM. A SAFETY HAZARD AND SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO FURTHER BY THE FORD MOTOR CO.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 20V177000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000.

MY RECALL STATES THAT FORD HAS NOT ISSUED INSTRUCTIONS TO STOP DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE UNDER THIS SAFETY. MY BACK DOOR LATCH OPENED WHILE DRIVING WHICH MAKES THE CAR UNDRIVABLE AND NEEDING A TOW, POSSIBLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. I HAD A PTSD RESPONSE TO THE INCIDENT AND HAD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE OF THE STRESS INDUCED ON MY BODY. I ALSO REQUIRED MEDICAL MASSAGES. MY FRONT DOOR HINGE ALSO WAS ABOUT TO BREAK THE SERVICE DEPT INFORMED ME AS WELL WHICH IS NOT ON THIS RECALL. OTHER OWNERS MAY NOT BE SO LUCKY.

WHEN DRIVING MY VEHICLE THE CLUTCH POP OUT OF GEAR. WHEN ON THE HIGHWAY IT AUTOMATICALLY POPS OUT OF GEAR AND SLOWS DOWN. IF MY CAR IS ON CRAS COMO TELL IT WILL COME OUT OF GEAR. WHEN SHIFTING GEARS IT BECOMES DIFFICULT AND IT SEEMS TO SPEED UP AND SLOW DOWN WHILE DRIVING. SEVERAL TIMES I HAVE ALMOST BEEN REAR ENDED AND HAVE HAD TO PULL OFF ROAD TO AVOID BEING HIT. MY CAR HAS BEEN IN GARAGE DUE TO FEAR OF BEING HIT. TOOK TO REPAIR AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NO RECALL NOTICE FOR MY VEHICLE. SO I DISMISSED THE REPAIR BUT STILL HAVE ISSUES LOOKING FOR MECHANIC TO FIX IT.

CAR IS OVERHEATING CONSTANTLY

ACCORDING TO THE DEAL A BEARING CAME LOSE INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION AND SHOT THROUGH THE CASING. THE TRANSMISSION, CLUTCH, AND FLYWHEEL ALL NEED TO BE REPLACED FOR A TOTAL OF $4700 PLUS TAX. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION WHEN IT HAPPENED. THE CAR HAS 75K MILES ON IT AND SHOULD DEFINITELY NOT BE HAVING THESE ISSUES.

MY VEHICLE, AFTER LESS THAN 75K MILES BEGAN TO HAVE OVERHEATING PROBLEMS. I HAD VARIOUS PARTS REPLACED UNTIL FINALLY IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE HEAD GASKET HAD BLOWN ON IT. AFTER RESEARCHING FORUMS AND SITES WHERE OTHER OWNERS OF THE SAME VEHICLE OR VEHICLES WITH THE SAME TYPE OF ENGINE, WERE EXPERIENCING ISSUES MUCH LIKE MINE. THE ENGINE HEAD IT MADE OF ALUMINIUM AND THE ENGINE BLOCK IS MADE OF CAT IRON. THIS FACT COUPLED WITH HIGH CYLINDER PRESSURES AND A NATURALLY HIGH ENGINE OPERATING TEMPERATURE RESULTS IN VARIOUS PARTS FAILING TO TO EXCESSIVE PRESSURE AND HEATING. ALTHOUGH FORD HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THIS ISSUE BY UPDATING THEIR REPLACEMENT COMPONENTS, THEY HAVE NOT ADDRESSED THE SAFETY OR MONETARY IMPACT OF THOSE WHO HAVE HAD TO REPAIR A KNOWN PROBLEM IN THEIR ENGINES.

THE FIRST TIME WAS BEFORE MARIA TOOK THE CAR TO THE FORD OF CAROLINA IN PUERTO RICO. I WAS INFORMED TO CALL A NUMBER THAT WAS IN THE LETTER. I CALLED AND I NEVER GOT MY PHONE ANSWERED. WHILE DRIVING DOWN CITY STREET I SHIFTED FROM 2ND TO 3RD AND THE CLUTCH PEDAL ONCE AGAIN STUCK TO THE FLOOR AND HAD TO BE MANUALLY PULLED UP. ALL FLUIDS ARE TOPPED OFF AND NOT ABOVE THE MAXIMUM LINE.

THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME I COULDN'T GET THE EGGS AND RADIO FREE FOR SIX MONTHS I HAVE THE SENSOR BUT THEY SAID THEY CAN ACTIVATE IT IN A STANDARD MODEL THE TIRE EXPLODED THREE WEEKS AFTER HAVING THE CAR I REPORTED THE RUBBING SOUND WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT THE CAR AND THEY TOLD ME THAT'S WHAT NEW CARS SOUND LIKE AND THEN WANTS TO TIRE EXPLODED THE FORD DEALERSHIP I TOOK IT TO SEND IT TO THE CORPORATION THEY CLAIM THEY SAID IT WAS ROUTE HAS IT BUT I DIDN'T HIT ANYTHING.THE TRANSMISSION HAD TO BE REPAIRED AFTER SIX MONTHS AND NOW IS ACTING UP AGAIN.
