TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1990 CHEVROLET C/K PICKUP WITH TELSTAR TURBO TIRES, LINE SIZE 275/60/R15, DOT NUMBER R7R7. THE CONTACT WAS TRAVELING 60 MPH WHEN THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE SUDDENLY EXPLODED WITHOUT WARNING. THE TIRE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TREAD BELT HAD SEPARATED. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100.
