2024 Altec Spray Truck

Defect. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.

Risk. An incorrect pressure rating may lead to underinflated tires, increasing the risk of a tire blowout or a crash.

Remedy. Altec will inspect and replace the incorrect certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3294.

Defect. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024 AT and TA series aerial devices, and ST series spray bodies. The fuel or brake lines may not be properly secured, which can cause the lines to become damaged and leak.

Risk. A brake fluid leak can cause brake failure, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the brake and fuel lines. If improperly secured, Altec will provide a kit to secure the lines. If the lines are damaged, dealers will repair the fuel and brake lines. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 23, 2025.
