Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORCYCLES. A COOLANT WATER HOSE CAN COME LOOSE AT THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING DURING OPERATION.
Risk. STEAM RELEASED COULD OBSCURE THE RIDER'S VISION OR LEAKING COOLANT COULD MAKE THE REAR TIRE SLIP.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSTALL AND PROPERLY TIGHTEN TWO NEW HOSE CLAMPS.
Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORCYCLES. THE PRIMARY DRIVEN GEAR BACKING PLATE (CLUTCH BASKET) CAN BREAK CAUSING THE ENGINE COMPONENTS TO LOCK UP.
Risk. THIS CONDITION CAN LEAD TO REAR WHEEL LOCK UP INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH OR PERSONAL INJURY.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NEW PRIMARY DRIVEN GEAR AND RELATED PARTS.
