TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 HONDA PILOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE EXITING THE HIGHWAY AT ABOUT 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE SMOKED FROM THE FRONT AND THE REAR WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WENT INTO FLAMES. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER. THE POLICE SAW THE VEHICLE AND ASSISTED IN EXTINGUISHING THE FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS AT THE SCENE AND A FIRE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WAS NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AND WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE, AND LATER TO THE CARSON HONDA DEALER (800-539-3601, LOCATED AT 1435 E 223RD ST, CARSON, CA 90745) AND THE CONTACT HAD NOT HEARD ANYTHING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED A CASE NUMBER TO THE CONTACT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT PROVIDED.
