DT*: THE CONTACT STATED A NHTSA RECALL LETTER # 05V364000 WAS RECEIVED FROM VIKING RECREATIONAL VEHICLES FOR EQUIPMENT: RECREATIONAL VEHICLE: THE TRAILER WAS TAKEN TO THE SALES/SERVICE DEALER FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE REPAIR FAILED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM, AND THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE SERVICE DEALER. THE PROBLEM STILL FAILED TO WORK PROPERLY. THE SERVICE DEALER SENT 2 TECHNICIANS TO CLOSE THE TRAILER; THEN THE TRAILER WAS RETURNED TO THE SERVICE DEALER FOR FURTHER REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE TOP FAILED TO RAISE AND LOWER, THE TOP WAS STUCK IN THE RAISED POISTION. UPDATED 01/10/06. *JB
