TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 VENTURE BOAT TRAILER MODEL VBT4700. WHILE HAULING THE TRAILER HE NOTICED SMOKE IN THE REAR. HE PULLED OVER EXAMINED THE TRAILER AND NOTICED THAT THE LEFT AXLE LEAF SPRING BOLT WAS BROKEN CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGED TO THE TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RUST DAMAGE TO THE TRAILER. HE VISUALLY INSPECTED THE TRAILER BEFORE DRIVING IT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED, BUT HE HAS NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE CONCERNING THE FAILURE. THE TRAILER DIDN'T HAVE A MILEAGE OR VIN TO REPORT.
