Defect. Turtle Top is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Odyssey transit buses manufactured March 12, 2014, to June 30, 2015, 2014 Odyssey XLT transit buses manufactured January 15, 2015, to April 22, 2015, and 2014 Van Terra transit buses manufactured May 6, 2014, to June 30, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a back up camera system which may display images from the camera in reverse.

Risk. If an object or person are on the left side of the screen but are actually on the right side of the vehicle, or vice versa, there is an increased risk of a crash.

Remedy. Turtle Top will work with ASA Electronics to notify owners, and dealers will replace the camera unit, free of charge. The recall began on September 18, 2015. Owners may contact Turtle Top customer service at 1-574-831-4340 or ASA Electronics at 1-877-384-4400. Turtle Top's number for this recall is 15E-050.
