On a recent 300 miles trip after road trip on my 2022 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro upon arriving at my destination I discovered 13 rear wheel wheel spokes had sheared off at the rim and fallen out on the chain/ sprocket side. The motorcycle only has 2300 miles in it. The bike is available for inspection. Yes my safety was definitely in a deadly situation. This problem has been confirmed by other riders on triumph owner blogs and with two Triumph dealerships ( one in California and one in Nevada). Both indicated they have seen this issue in the past. The components were shown to the Nevada dealership. I was told that this was a big issue but Triump was only handling on a case by case basis because of the volume sold of this model. There were no warnings or indications of the malfunction. Before I started my ride I checked the air pressure in the tires and everything looked fine. I had to be towed back.

Reading this record
No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.
Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
