Defect. Temp-Air, Inc. (Temp-Air) is recalling certain 2017-2019 EBB-80 trailers. An incorrect hitch coupling may have been installed that limits the adjustability of the hitch possibly causing the trailer receiver angle to be improper.

Risk. If the user cannot properly adjust the hitch height to ensure proper trailer leveling, the trailer may suddenly drag, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Temp-Rail will notify owners, and will replace the hitch rail with the correct one, free of charge. The recall began November 6, 2019. Owners may contact Temp-Rail customer service at 1-952-894-3000.

WE PURCHASED A TEMP AIR THERMAL SYSTEM 5/4/2017 VIN#[XXX]. THE TRAILER PORTION IS BUILT BY REDNECK TRAILERS WITH DEXTER AXLES 121154571 MODEL#11. ON 12/6/19 PASSENGER WHEEL AND HUB CAME OFF. THIS UNIT HAS TANDEM AXLES RATED AT 4000LBS EACH WITH GVWR OF 8000LBS. ON 4/26/18 DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL AND HUB CAME OFF WHILE DRIVING. WE NOTIFIED TEMP AIR INC.
