TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 SUNDOWNER VALUE LITE TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT RUST HAD BUILT UP. THE FLOOR, AS THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF THE TRAILER, COULD BE WEAKEN BY THE RUST AND CAUSE A CRASH AND INJURY TO THE HORSE. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER BUT WAS OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE.

THE CONTACT WAS INSTRUCTED BY A MECHANIC WHO MADE APPROXIMATELY 75 REPAIRS TO THIS SAME TYPE OF TRAILER TO LOOK UNDER HER HORSE TRAILER TO DETERMINE IF THERE WAS RUST FORMING UNDER THE FLOOR WHICH CARRIES THE HORSES. THE CONTACT CONFIRMED THAT THERE WAS RUST UNDER THE FLOOR AND ON THE BEAMS OF THE TRAILER. THERE IS NO MILEAGE ON THIS TYPE OF TRAILER.
