Defect. THE REAR SPRING HANGER ON THE FRONT SUSPENSION CAN BREAK.
Risk. THIS CONDITION CAN ALLOW THE SPRING TO BECOME DETACHED FROM THE LOWER FRAME RAIL AFFECTING VEHICLE CONTROL AND INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL ADD TWO FASTENERS PER BRACKET INCREASING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF FASTENERS FROM FOUR (4) TO SIX (6).
