Defect. Shred-Tech Corporation (Shred-Tech) is recalling certain 2021-2023 MDS-4-33 shredding trucks. Shredded paper may accumulate in the space between the cutting knives and the bulkhead wall.

Risk. The accumulation of excess shredded paper can compress and overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Shred-Tech will install a new bulkhead wall, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed out beginning May 1, 2023. Owners may contact Shred-Tech customer service at 1-800-465-3214.
