Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CONVERSION VANS. THE REAR AXLE CAN HIT THE FUEL FILLER HOSE CAUSING IT TO DISCONNECT FROM THE FUEL TANK, SPILLING FUEL ONTO THE GROUND.
Risk. FUEL LEAKAGE, IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, CAN RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE REAR END FOR SAGGING AND ENSURE THAT THE REAR END IS AT OEM SPECIFICATIONS.
