NHTSA campaign 26V534000 · Part 573 safety recall report

Ring Power Corporation: Equipment

Ring Power Corporation reported this defect to federal regulators on Aug 17, 2026 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 73. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.

The defect

Ring Power Corporation (Ring Power) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Terex C4000, C5000, C6000, and General 65 digger derrick trucks. An insufficient weld on the plate weldment may crack, causing the retaining pin to separate.

The risk

Without a retaining pin, the pole guide arm may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people around the truck.

The remedy

Ring Power will inspect and replace the weldment plate as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 2026. Owners may contact Ring Power's customer service at 1-904-737-7730. Ring Power's number for this recall is UTC0001.

What this page is, and what to do next

A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.

This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 26V534000.
