NHTSA campaign 25V722000 · Part 573 safety recall report

Maserati North America, Inc.: Exterior Lighting › Headlights

Maserati North America, Inc. reported this defect to federal regulators on Oct 23, 2025 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 10,008. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.

The defect

Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Grancabrio, 2024-2025 Granturismo, and 2023-2025 Grecale vehicles. The headlights may be missing adjustment prevention caps, which can allow the headlights to be improperly adjusted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamp, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment."

The risk

Improperly aimed headlights can result in insufficient illumination of the road, reducing the driver's visibility, and increasing the risk of a crash.

The remedy

Maserati North America will inspect and, if necessary, install one or two caps to cover the horizontal headlight aim adjustment mechanism, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 25, 2025. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 805. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 28, 2025.

What this page is, and what to do next

A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.

This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 25V722000.
