Supreme Corporation reported this defect to federal regulators on Jun 19, 2025 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 2. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Supreme Corporation (Supreme) is recalling certain 2025 Wabash truck body vehicles equipped with Waltco ZS series slide liftgates. The cylinder pin in the slide liftgate may be insufficiently lubricated, which can cause the pin to seize, resulting in lift gate failure.
The risk
A lift gate that fails during operation increases the risk of injury.
The remedy
Supreme will work with HIAB USA to replace the pivot pin, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 8, 2025. Owners may contact Supreme customer service at 1-844-352-4921. Owners may also contact Hiab customer service at 1-330-630-7755.
