REV Recreation Group: Equipment › Emergency › Fire Supression › Smoke/Co Warning/Alarm

REV Recreation Group reported this defect to federal regulators on Jun 18, 2025 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 141. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.

The defect

REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Holiday Rambler Incline, and Fleetwood Altitude Class C motorhomes. The electrical components under the house entry steps may fail due to water intrusion, including the carbon monoxide (CO) or Liquid Propane (LP) detector.

The risk

A faulty CO or LP detector may not notify occupants of carbon monoxide or propane exposure, increasing the risk of injury or death.

The remedy

Dealers will install latch covers on the entry steps, mudflaps, and seal the compartment seams, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-322 8216. REV's number for this recall is 250618REV.

What this page is, and what to do next

A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.

This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 25V416000.
