Textron Specialized Vehicles: Exterior Lighting
Textron Specialized Vehicles reported this defect to federal regulators on Feb 24, 2025 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 1,283. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Textron Specialized Vehicles (Textron) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Cushman Hauler Pro LSV, Tour LSV, and E-Z-GO Liberty LSV vehicles. The side and rear reflectors insufficiently reflect light. As such, these lights fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The risk
Without properly reflective equipment, it may be difficult for other road users to see the vehicle from the rear or side, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
E-Z-Go or Cushman will mail new reflectors to owners, and dealers will be able to install, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 24, 2025. Owners may call Textron Specialized Vehicles Customer Service at 706-799-4768.
