Pagani S.p.A reported this defect to federal regulators on Nov 25, 2024 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 8. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Pagani S.p.A (Pagani) is recalling certain 2024 Utopia vehicles. The passenger side dashboard panel may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause the air bag not to deploy as intended.
The risk
During air bag deployment, the dashboard panel may damage the air bag or cause the air bag to deploy improperly, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy
Dealers will repair the dashboard panel by applying kevlar strips, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2024. Owners may contact Pagani S.p.A customer service at +39 059 4739201.
