E-One Incorporated reported this defect to federal regulators on Oct 11, 2024 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 282. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Cyclone 2, Typhoon N, 2021- 2024 Cyclone N, and 2021 Quest 2 vehicles. The engine crossmember may break, allowing the cooling fan to contact the fan shroud and become damaged.
The risk
A damaged cooling fan can result in an engine stall while driving and increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and repair the crossmember as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 26, 2024. Owners may contact E-One Customer Service at 1-352-237-1122.
